Rage quitting at the tutorial =/= playing the game. If the tutorial gave me no reason to continue playing... then, there you go. The game gave me no reason to continue playing. What I learned about the game is that the game is about getting fucked over in one way or another. So, yeah, wow, way to completely disincentivize the entire game for me. I don't get catharsis from finally beating some big fucking cocksucker after my fiftieth try. All I get from that is, "Wow, that was a massive waste of my time." And I only get two things for all my efforts: Jack and shit; and Jack left town. The game appears to be difficult for the sake of being difficult. That's not intelligent game design.

I'd be okay if we just got rid of the ability to change usernames. One system I like is that only moderators can change usernames, so if you want to change yours you have to ask them personally and thus can't change it to anything at any time.
I've been on a forum that had that kind of system. I like that.

I think it's like, right after the tutorial part. The first area you get to after the tutorial, or maybe it's still the tutorial. I don't know. There was a staircase boulder trap, and even if it is avoidable, it shouldn't be there.All the traps should be developer made and done without messages. Like in a good game. Zelda, for fuck's sake, has all kinds of traps that are difficult to avoid, but don't need the cheap "GO IN THIS ROOM" shit.

In that case you are either not telling the truth, or there was something very wrong with your game. I just played through that part of the game again to be sure, and the only message there is the one telling you that tapping the B button makes you backstep. You don't remember the staircase, and then the message telling you to go up it. And then a boulder falls on you. I don't know, I can't really make something like that up. It's too stupid and unnecessary.

You're full of shit. The developers don't leave misleading messages. Technically it wasn't "misleading" because I believe all it said was to go up the stairs, but it didn't say anything about it being safe to go up the stairs. That's still a fucking stupid trick regardless.
