You can say whatever you want but certain things will get you thrown out.there is nothing anyone could possibly say in my house (barring threats of violence) that would cause me to throw them out that shouldn't be controversial there should be a "house" on the internet where i can say anything, because otherwise, some people don't have a place 1505
The Flood / Re: That's subjective« on: May 26, 2019, 09:27:52 PM »Not that different where being polite “gets you nothing”. You shouldn’t be polite to get something in return, that’s just what you should strive to do as much as you can.you're not wrong, but i never said you should get anything in return i'm just stating the fact that you don't, which sure as fuck doesn't make it any easier (and you should know) Quote It absolutely is something to ban you over. If you invite some dude to a community and he starts talking shit to you and everyone else why wouldn’t you ban him?literally and unironically because it's a free country, or at least that's the idea that's why i want to find a community that allows me to do these things—but not even 4chan, with all its scumfuckery, will even allow you to be too much of a shithead before you get banned 1506
The Flood / Re: That's subjective« on: May 26, 2019, 09:02:45 PM »”Being polite on the internet has no benefits” is saying you view interaction on the internet and “real life” as two separate things.different kinds of interaction =/= different states of reality a thing that i already said Quote Or, you think it’s ok to be an asshole on the internet and real life. Which I doubt, otherwise you’d have no friends. No, what you like to do is vent your frustration out on other people instead of dealing with those feelings in a less destructive way. People aren’t being babies if they get tired of how predictably angry you get over the smallest disagreement.even if these people knew me long enough to "get tired" of me, which they can't, it's still not something for me to get banned over, since all you have to do is block/mute/ignore me and all of my big bad meanie posts will be hidden but no, we have to ban negative people arbitrarily because of hurt feelings or something "negativity isn't welcome here" okay, point me to the place on the internet where it IS welcome, and i will happily go there oh wait there is none, guess i'll just die because i refuse to be fake-positive just to appease idiots 1507
The Flood / Re: That's subjective« on: May 26, 2019, 08:45:48 PM »you always say interactions are the same on the internet as they are in real lifeno, i've always said that the internet is a part of "real life," they're not separate, and that people are more fake offline than they are online the fact that people interact with each other differently doesn't put it on a different plane of existence or reality it just makes it so people can express themselves without being fettered or inhibited by social consequence, which they wouldn't NOT do if they could without the internet 1508
The Flood / Re: That's subjective« on: May 26, 2019, 08:14:44 PM »it's because i live on a shit planet comprised of nothing but the most disgusting, stupid, or evil people (or some combination)being polite on the internet has basically no benefits, because nobody cares (and why would they)Being nice & polite has benefits no matter where you go, IRL or on the web. How do you think I've cultivated my cult of personality? Through my personality itself, sure, but also just through being a plain ol nice person i find that exceptionally distressing, considering that i don't have the option to leave, and that i'm expected to mingle and cooperate with them i don't need to spend any time thinking more about that, i already have that part figured out 1509

if i've learned anything from the hundreds of times i've been banned from various communities, it's that you can be castigated from a community for more than just a single post, and if people are treating you like shit, it's probably because of your reputation rather than just any one thing

The Flood / Re: Hi there guys! Just want to share X thing I found cool, and here's why!« on: May 26, 2019, 08:02:41 PM »
it is 100% okay to feel shame or guilt for liking the things you like
there are some things that should just not be liked, and having the self-awareness to admit that is a great thing to have 1511
The Flood / Re: That's subjective« on: May 26, 2019, 07:56:54 PM »Did this happen recently? Why don't you be less aggressive/hostile? I learned it's best to coddle people who are mentally handicapped in comparison to yourself; I work with a bunch of retarded sociopaths at work and my mental well-being increased significantly when I started treating them like five year old children.nothing "recently," more something i've been cursed with my entire internet life site's dying, trying to find other places to go, but can't, because i just get banned everywhere because of my personality instead of being "less aggressive" i'd rather just find a community that will allow me to tell people to kill themselves all i want without getting banned because frankly, i think people should be able to do that 1512
The Flood / Re: That's subjective« on: May 26, 2019, 07:50:49 PM »you know i see your point OP but maybe the problem is with yousee, but when everyone else does it, which they do, it's basically what they deserve back being polite on the internet has basically no benefits, because nobody cares (and why would they) either way, it doesn't really seem healthy to keep all the hate and anger i have all pent up, so i'd rather just let it out because 1.) it's fun for me, and 2.) i don't perceive it as a big deal anyway, i think people should just stop being babies 1513
The Flood / Re: That's subjective« on: May 26, 2019, 07:41:10 PM »

i agree that subjectivity is implied, because having to say "IMO" every time is obnoxious and you shouldn't have to do it, but at the same time, you don't have to express these opinions with such aggression and hostility 1514

Serious / Re: Circumcision needs to be banned« on: May 26, 2019, 07:42:37 AM »
- it looks better (objectively—anyone who disagrees is a fucking idiot—and no, being gay doesn't make you more objective)
- it's cleaner, since you get to spend less time in the shower (yes, even if it were just one second, that is STILL time saved—absolutely no intelligent person wants to put up with cleaning their smegma, because it's the most disgusting thing in the world) - it's healthier, as having foreskin just makes it easier to contract some pretty horrible diseases like HIV, and it's also one less organ that can potentially get cancer - getting the procedure done-and-over-with as a baby means that you won't have to make the conscious choice to get it done as an adult, which is fantastic, because at that point, you're going to become too attached to your junk to make the right decision - it also has the slightest chance of killing you before you get to live out your shitty fucking life, which is fucking awesome - the idea of decreasing your nerve endings, making sex feel less good, is inherently appealing to anyone who is intelligent It would seem to me as though having foreskin has no benefits whatsoever, and anyone who'd want to keep theirs is stupid. It's absolutely superfluous, and being cut is superior in every conceivable way that matters to anybody with a brain. Your ONE linchpin argument has to do with the consent issue, and if that's your argument, you'd pretty much have to concede to broader consent-concerned arguments as well, such as anti-natalism, in order to be logically consistent. So if circumcision is wrong because "muh consent," in spite of the fact that it's impossible to get that from a baby, then it's also wrong to conceive a child in the first place, because they can't consent to that either. So you're either wrong, or an anti-natalist. You can only pick one. As for the benefits, I just listed a plethora of them, and every single "con" you could possibly think of is actually an argument for circumcision, not against it. And for the love of god, don't talk about psychological issues. That doesn't come close to being a compelling argument, because fucking everyone has psychological issues. I'll take a few of those in exchange for a cleaner, healthier, and better looking dick, thank you very much. You're bound to develop a few mental issues anyway, because it's a fucked up world that we live in. So you might as well get a better cock out of the deal, because you're stuck with that cock for life. I should also acknowledge that most of your sexual partners will prefer circumcised men (as they should, because it's objectively better). If they say otherwise, they're either lying to make you feel better, or they're stupid/crazy—and as the bros say, you're not supposed to stick your dick in crazy. 1524
