Oh, the context of that banner is the case all banners were replaced. I wasn't working on an actual replacement, I just wanted thoughts on the style. That's why it's all rushed through.
Possibly take the tagline off as well, to keep each banner similar.

That's not quite the same. Porch Day was when a bunch of parody "Porch" threads were spammed in the Flood. There was always a distinct Porch Day every year. I know you don't quite understand since you weren't around for it on old Bungie.

I like the look of the banners for the other boards. It just looks cleaner and more " professional"..
I think you could lessen the two tones of the gradient, just dumb it down a bit. All the other boards are good, but gaming just had a screenshot, which contrasted the, uh, "artwork" of Serious and the title other title bars. Possibly take the tagline off as well, to keep each banner similar.
