What "life"?
Those things weren't even supposed to see their late teens ffs.
Life up until a disappearance [death]. And Halsey's journal confirms several clones were able to survive much longer than initially predicted.

All that would've come about from that is a slightly increased interest in a technology that was imperfect anyway.
If it has any bearing upon the story, attributing any advances in it to the Spartan program is a simple cop-out.

Erm, the investigator's trying to dig up stuff on the Chief and comes across stuff about John's childhood and the sudden vanishing of the clone. The plot thread is just there to get the entire conspiracy aspect underway.
I'm still not sure if that's even what you're confused about. But, well, there it is.
I'm confused because I didn't watch the video and jumped straight into the thread to see people talking about the clones as if it was important.

You seem to be getting pretty mad about it and how some lived longer than they were supposed to.
Not at all, I'm just presuming 343 is trying to bring up a dead and buried point in the story and try to make something out of it. I want to see what's going on. If being enthusiastic is something that's wrong, by all means, PM about it next time.
