Call me unoriginal but I'm currently rereading the Fellowship of the Ring.
I read the Silmarillion 2 winters ago, and most of that is still fresh in my mind. You wouldn't believe how much all that lore in the Silmarillion enhances the story.
Time to order it I guess....
Read it from back to front, but if you know the basics, it actually becomes a storybook, with a load of different stories inside that you can pick an choose to read.

Simply put - what are your thoughts on suicide? Is it a cowards way out? Do you know anyone who has thought of/actually attempted the act? Do you feel like enough emphasis is aimed at teenagers these days?
I've thought about it a lot, came a hairs breadth away from trying it, twice. I've had next to no support during both of those times. It's definitely not the cowards way out, if someone is pushed that far that they consider suicide, demonising them is literally the worst possible thing. Even the view of it is wrong. If a person starts thinking about it, then they see that society discriminates against those who share the thoughts, it makes their situation worse. I know a couple of people who have done it. One I used to be close to, last year. Emphasis is there and being made, but not enough. People are still accused of being of 'guilty' of doing it and thinking of it, in a way. And that effectively counteracts any help or support. Especially in religious countries. Spoiler I might come back an edit this. I don't have much time and I just typed what I thought to get it down.
