Battlefield 4, before I got it a couple of weeks ago, the last time I touched an FPS was when I played Halo 3 a bit with Yutaka back in March.
Even before then I rarely touched the genre, but I'm slowly getting better results each time I play.

Like, in Supreme Commander I used to put so many turrets around my base nothing would get within 10 miles before getting fucked up. Then I'd mass produce bombers and Hiroshima my enemies.

I've been saving up gold exp cards, no matter the class I'm pumping them all into her right now.
I'm waiting for the 22nd so I can get snake gems from the event to ascend Gilgamesh. I practically have all of the ascension items needed to bring him to level 100 after that.
You're right, I need to get her ascended asap >.>
Are those gems some of the items unobtainable right now? Or is it just the same old "shit doesn't drop enough"?
You have two chances to get them per week from 40ap dailies. They're supposed to be common, but I end up getting the demon hearts instead and those are supposed to be super hard to get.
Some twisted luck there. Still, you can get them now. Will the event drop enough or will you still need to grind a bit before you can ascend Gil?
