You should see a doctor, perhaps get on medication for it.
Yours truly a 22 year old.
People being dazed for a few seconds when they first wake up is nothing odd, and sure isn't something worth being medicated over. As for the reflexes, they are reflexes and nothing more.

that does sound like a not good idea
It was not a good idea at all. I don't think I've ever screamed so loud in my life.
I don't want to pry but who got foot to face?
A younger relative.

In my family, I have a long history of spasms and tantrums immediately after being woken up. I'm talking within in first 5-10 seconds after waking up, my mind if a fucking mess and nothing makes sense. The spasms I speak of have been known to involve reflexive attempts at hitting whatever just startled me. I genuinely don't mean to hurt anybody, but when someone wakes me up, they scare the living shit out of me and that is usually followed by a fist.
So here's what happened. Recently, I told someone in my family about a nightmare I one had. A nightmare that I have had nightmares about. Apparently, this person thought it would be a wonderful idea to wake me up and scare me with the thing that I told them was in my nightmare. Apparently they didn't think that waking someone up from a nightmare to the same thing that was in their nightmare would result in anything less than a lighthearted comical reaction. Well what they got was a fucking 48 year old man screaming his ass off and a foot to the face.
There are more details, but that about sums it up. If you have received several warnings and close calls not to do something to someone, lest you get hurt, and then try it again with persistence that only makes it worse, something bad is inevitable. What the hell did she think would happen? A smiling little girls head moving closer and closer to me is something she should have known would incur some sort of counter-measure to stop the thing. That countermeasure just happened to be my foot, and not my whole family is frowning upon me for my hysterical screams and violent reaction. It's not my fault for being scared. It's her fault for making me scared with something she knew I would react to.

If you ever lose the will to live, watch the food channel, and just remember that you haven't tried all that delicious looking food yet. You must live on for the food! Food makes me happy.
I'll take it into consideration Chalk. Even though I don't have a TV. I'll think about food. But I guess, I've got a better memory than you. Remember when you got all mopey about your monitor position?
Well, now's your shot bud.
I don't really want the monitor position. I just posted in the thread because I could. At the time, I didn't even know what a monitor was. That aside, one thing you must do is get any gummy candies you can find and ever so slightly melt them on a plate in the microwave. From there you collect them on a fork by spinning it like you would with spaghetti, and enjoy the edible rainbows that ensue.

The kicker is that the professor later gets hit , and subsequently dies, by a car driven by two pastors, who had planned on leaving on some trip days before but kept having mysterious car trouble. It was implied that the evil atheists death was providence of god.
That's not how it happened. The pastor's were in a car and witnessed the atheist get hit another car. They didn't actually hit him. You would know this if you had actually seen the movie.

>AR >for SHTF
Enjoy jamming and being shot
I've never had an AR jam with live rounds... that includes the old as fuck A2 that was put though some shit when I was in basic.
Then you haven't shot enough.
Meh, enough to know that it doesn't happen a quarter as often as people seem to think. But then again, there is my brother who somehow, through the wonders of lowest bidder magazines, managed to get a goddamn triple feed during his first qual round.
Throw blanks into the thing and you jam more than the first round XM16's though, lol.
After doing a little research it seems like almost all jamming problems people have with ARs is due to crappy/cheap mags and/or cheap/crap ammo.
Don't forget all the carbon buildup. That contributes a lot. ARs shit where they eat.
From what I read, with simple maintenance of the rifle after you're done using it, that shouldn't be an issue.
Unless you are in a hist stress position where you continuously firing large amounts of ammunition with no time to disassemble and clean your rifle.

Enjoy jamming and being shot
Because that routinely happens.
>AK >for SHTF
Enjoy missing and being shot
If you are missing with an AK in a gunfight, it's your fault, and not the rifles. Accuracy with an AK as compared to an AR makes minimal difference unless you are trying to pull of precision shots. You sound like you get your fucking gun facts straight from CoD.

Now that I think about it, here's the thing. If you make a SHTF AR, then you probably won't be using it unless SHTF. That means if you save up money, then later on you'll be able to get a proper target shooting AR(or something else for target shooting if your mind changes, or if something new comes up on the market). If you actually care about the SHTF scenario, then you'll be prepared, and able to save up funds if you aren't using it too much.
Of course, this is all null and void if you already have a shit ton of .223 and the range you'd go to doesn't charge anything.
Having a SHTF AR does not mean I won't be shooting it. I can still shoot targets with it, but the gun won't be purpose built for it.

I do not see why it cannot serve both purposes.
Because if I make a SHTF AR, it will be shorter in length, not have a scope, minimalist furniture as opposed to the full A2 stock, longer barrel, scope, and heavy duty furniture that would be on the target AR.

I'd personally go for the most versatile setup rather than limiting yourself to one or the other.
SHTF is a more or less versatile set up. It's pretty self explanatory. SHTF is an all-purpose rifle. I would go with a minimalistic and durable design. The other target option is a much more specific role.

If only they had hired Skallagrim to spend 5 minutes on the subject.
Actually, he spent 6 minutes and 16 seconds.
Don't you get sassy with me.
I can be as sassy as I want.

if it were like this. It would take a very complex emitter to work, but it would work.

Just wait till they find out that the new lightsaber is actually remarkably practical when compared to other lightsaber designs in the Star Wars universe.
>Blade slides down after striking >Goes through emitter and still cuts off hand.
Still better than nothing. And also, since when do lightsabers slide?
Since when does Hollywood portray sword fighting accurately?
That's different. I still have never seen a ligthsaber slide on a lightsaber in any of the movies. The seem so repulse each other. Also, the guards could be made of lightsaber resistant material.

Why not one that you can swap so it does anything?
That is easier said than done. You can't just go and convert an AR from one purpose to another without very special and expensive parts.
Make or find a better design that focuses on adaptability and allows easy swapping of barrel lengths and calibers.
I don't have a money tree in my back yard. Swapping barrels on ARs is a process that you can't do without tools and a workbench. And systems that allow for quick barrel changes are very new and expensive, with very specific requirements. If I wanted all those things, I would have gotten a difference rifle that already allows for that kind of thing. I'm building an AR, not some space gun.
Okay. (._.)
I wish I had the money for a space gun
I wish I knew how to make space gun and give to friends and sell to Rednecks and /k/ tards across the world.
I wish I knew what /k/ tards meant
