My family has a mini horse with the most generic name, "Squirt". So today, I had to move him from his typical fenced area to a smaller one where his two sheep friends are. Well some fuckwit in my family left a gate open at the back of our property that leads to an over-grown dirt road with a small drainage ditch next to it. Well, when I was moving the horse, he saw the open gate and bolted. I had to chase that fucker through thorns, weeds, and trees in nothing but basketball shorts, sandals, and an undershirt in freezing weather. Even after I got the leash on him, he was covered in thorns and kept rubbing up against me while I tried to maneuver the two of us through the overgrowth. He would act up and try to run off or spin around. I also had to get him to cross the drainage ditch, which he didn't want to do at all. I now have a scratched up and bleeding thigh from him rubbing up against me with all the thorns and sticks on him while I try to control him. I got him in eventually, but it took at least half an hour. I couldn't imagine having a full-sized horse. Those fuckers are smart, proud, and stubborn animals. I'm fine with cows and sheep. They are both adorable and manageable.

The Flood / Re: Are there reproduction Lee Enfield rifles?« on: December 07, 2014, 09:52:45 PM »I saw a few around here for a few hundred dollars. But they are not repro. My Mosin Magant was made around the time of the battle of stalingrad.I wouldn't mind if they are not repro as long as they have been chambered in a different, more common round. Although, if it's not repro, this seems like an impossibility. 1911

It's such an awkward and childish round to me.I can get bricks of .22 all day at a local hole in the wall. Granted it's a bit over the cost before the whole scare, but it's therehttp://www.armslist.com/posts/2035938/minneapolis-minnesota-rifles-for-sale-trade--1942-lee-enfield-no--4-mk1--303-britishIf they were something other than .22lr, I'd be all for it, but they're not, and .22lr is a pain in the ass because of its demand. 1914

The Flood / Re: Are there reproduction Lee Enfield rifles?« on: December 07, 2014, 06:01:38 PM »>wanting a replicaI would want a reproduction because it could possibly have a different cartridge chambered that would not require Indiana Fucking Jones to find any ammunition. Besides, it's sexy as fuck and can take shit down easily. It's a fucking hog hunting cannon. 1916

The Flood / Are there reproduction Lee Enfield rifles?« on: December 07, 2014, 04:34:16 PM »
T4R. Is there a company out there that makes reproduction Lee Enfield rifles that are chambered in a more modern caliber? Something like .308 or .270 Winchester? If so, that would be awesome? If not, then why not? They are great collectible rifles, but ammo for them is practically non-existent and not cheap even if you can find it. They do it for other rifles, so why not the Lee Enfield?
