Gaming / Re: Cross-Network Gaming finally happening?
« on: March 16, 2016, 05:11:53 PM »

Microsoft has said there will be the option to restrict online play solely to your network (so, strictly XBL if you're on XB1, for example). So if people on console find playing against PC too hard they can opt out

I guess that's good.

Especially when it comes to FPS games, where PC gamers always have the Mouse + Keyboard advantage.
Mhmm, the important thing about all this is simply that Microsoft are giving fans the choice, if XB1/PC cross-play becomes common that will only help bring people together.

Dragon Rulers, Infernoids, Greydles and fucking Fluffals/Frightfurs as well as the obvious pendulum bullshit, on top of things like the Galaxy deck make 90% of duels boring. Better to take a few decent middling decks like Gem Knights or some cataclysmically shit ones like Roids and the Curryfiend deck and pit them against each other.

One year ago I was far less happy, i've changed a lot over the last year and it's all been for the better. More than anything I get a sense of relief, that everything has gotten so good for me.

Press Play (the guys that did Max: the curse of brotherhood, and Kalimba) will be shuttered too apparently. Sorta sucks, seeing as Guildford is just down the road from me and I am acquainted with one or two people at Lionhead.

Whatever you do, make sure you only use favour to buy gods, not gems. He Bo is insanely strong, Ah Muzan Cab is one of my favourites, Kuku is strong and cheap and you should pick up Artemis too (475 favour is a steal). Do you play Smite on PC or XB1?
PS4
Eww, you're playing the alpha (beta, idk) then? Console players are so easy to beat on Smite, if you like the game and want more of a challenge you should think about the PC version. Even my below-min-specs convertible can run it.
A lot of the guys I play with are on PS4 and we always destroy the other teams
Yeah, I play on PC in a clan with my friends and gf. Problem is our main man has a high ELO and so we end up being pitted against teams far better than most of our team. So we lose way more than we should

If birds are better than anime, then where do you place anime chicks?

The Flood / Re: Spice & Wolf is getting a sequel
« on: February 11, 2016, 03:27:55 PM »

What is it actually about? My gf keeps trying to get me to watch it, and laughs maniacally whenever she does so-but then I actually enjoyed VK, and that was the same.
Idk what VK is. Acronyms are my weakness. It's about a traveling merchant dealing with economic stuff and bringing along a wolf grill on his travels. Dialogue heavy as mentioned above.
Sorry, VK is Vampire Knight. Is it particularly comedic? With a premise like that, it sounds like it should be
http://myanimelist.net/anime/2966/Ookami_to_Koushinryou

Just read the synopsis. Does a better job than me.
Sounds alright actually

Fairy Tail Zero is my ongoing one, the rest is older stuff i'm catching up on and things i'm waiting for like Stein's Gate Zero and more Tokyo Ghoul. But rn i'm getting over TG root A, watching TG from start to 'finish' over two days... I needed the devil is a part-timer to recover.

I only buy entire orchestras,  you only have to refresh them every few generations once the inbreeding starts to affect the music quality.

I took one look at the art style, washed out my eyes, then went back to real anime.

I'm lazy with the things I shouldn't be, like school, yet still beat everyone else whereas i'll go full anime-tryhard on the dumbest of things. Oh, and my cute af weeb gf has put me down the path of no return, i'm slowly becoming a weeb too-instead of celebrating New Years we both stayed in and binged AoT, drinking.

I'm pretty pleased with how i've turned out right now tbh

The Flood / Re: Post your girlfriend
« on: January 07, 2016, 07:31:19 PM »

Considering that she knows this site, and is one of those that can transform anime-style from super-cute to absolute terrifying in no time. Plus the best pic I have of her is when she wore my Celtic top. I'm not risking my life, sorry.
My babe knows about here. She thinks I am weird for going here.
She's on the internet just as much as I am, she has her equivalent to this. Plus she's both a weeb and a gamer, which works out brilliantly for me, my new year's was AoT snuggled up on her sofa.

« on: January 07, 2016, 06:49:12 PM »
Yeah, I mean it's hardly a breeze at the moment, but then I knew that my choices and taking two extra subjects would do that, but when i'm not doing work i'm enjoying it. Having an amazing gf and a friend group that does everything with a joke keeps everyone cheerier than we would otherwise be, only time it sucks is when people get bitchy near exams, especially the resentment I get for not revising but still coming out on top-people can be spiteful creatures.

I'm just looking forward to finishing my GCSEs, and to comic con in the summer

If you want to play 2010 games at medium settings you can pick up a 360 for peanuts, seeing as the whole mobile aspect of the laptop is negated regardless.

Or just get a decent desktop

The game is real simple if you allow it to be. Get good weapons, fuck jobs, hunt through space for the biggest low risk bounties you can find (na-na-navigation beacons motherfucker) and gradually buy better ships/modules. Right now I have an Eagle worth about 250,000CR and 180,000CR in the bank, from approximately a week of play-and that included a day where I tried to become a miner after four days previously of being destroyed in my shitty old sidewinder.

Also, don't die. And once you've ranked up join the federation, that is if you ever want to see Sol.

I'm currently making my way over to Tau Ceti right now, doing trade jobs to make money on the way there. Trading astrodata every so often,,too.

From there,,I'll probably start trying to become friends with the Feds before heading over to either the nearest black hole or the nearest pulsar for some fun times.

Also I want to go to Saggitarius A at some point. Fuck the collectors.
Trading is a valid way of making money too I guess, I just find bounty hunting to be the best way to have a bit of fun in Elite whilst still getting credits. Just take my advice and stay the hell away from mining, unless it's absolutely needed
