Apparently this is a thingKinda neat though. Few tools have shaped the course of history and human civilization to such an extent as the earliest stone knife blades did.

You feel that feel, bro? No food made from three ingredients and a little bit of salt has any business being one of the single greatest things in existence, but, the tomato sandwich does. Bask in its glory, flood. Its pure and uncorrupted glory. That's mayonnaise, not butter, for your culturally illiterate city slickers.

And I'm getting the itch again, so I'll probably jump on something in two weeks after I get the extra cash for August's drill weekend. It's not to say I haven't bought anything lately, just nothing of significant investment. I grabbed this kiwi3 skipjoint last week and these etched spydercos a couple months back. Oh, and this victorinox German army (on top) I know there's not many with the hobby here, but... recs or suggestions anyone? Here's some I've been considering. Al Mar Paraya, Eagle HD, Talon cocoboloSpyderco Domino, Szabo, HungarianSpeaking of Spyderco, once the Nirvana releases, i'mma be all over dat. Kershaw Launch 2 - still kinda unsure if I want an auto though. CKF Sukhoi 2.0 - maybe just a dream... that's a lot of cash. Really only looking to buy one. Decisions, decisions...

the Ku Klux Klan is a Christian identity group, first and foremost. Vote Gary Johnson. A president who'll serve you, not the God of murderous rednecks.

A recent incident in Florida prompts discussion of responsible gun ownership, recognizing if you aren't ready to carry a weapon, emphasizing the wrong reasons and attitudes behind carrying and certain facets of gun culture, and how your rights to self defense with a firearm should be for just that, defense, and never aggression. I really find myself agreeing with nearly everything he's said as well. I don't carry a firearm anymore. I don't want that responsibility. I don't trust myself with it. I'll simply avoid places of the city that are a little more dangerous. I don't try to put myself in any harmful situations anymore, and if I find myself near an active shooter in public, well, I'm aware of the consequences. Spoiler inb4 if the other guy was armed he wouldn't have died inb4 conservatives say liberals better not use this dude as part of a Brady campaign agenda inb4 NRA dickriders inb4 Door inb4 oh my god DAS I'm not watching some fat old retired airforce redneck ramble for 35 minutes You can discuss the shooting or what the video addresses, it's all related to the legal rights of firearm ownership and self defense. Side discussion: Should disobeying a 911 dispatcher be a crime or give legal means to elevate charges that may be brought against an individual who does not comply and causes further harm because of it?

He seems like a Dem I could actually vote for. I mean, yeah, he likes Affirmative Action and he never wants to see Social Security privatized, but he's pro individual rights, pro gun rights, and pro military (while being pro gays in military) and doesn't want to end all free trade like Bernie does.
Why have I not heard about this man before?

Fuck Ramadan, fuck Lent, this is the true mother fucking holy time of the year. Tomato season is a magical time where the tomato plants that any true American has in his back yard start producing tons of the wondrous red fruits that some heathens call a fucking vegetable. It's a fruit, you cunts. A fucking fruit. You don't cut a vegetable in half, dump a little salt on it, and then eat it for breakfast.
So how many of you faggots aren't real men and haven't had entire meals based around the tomato yet?

OP's should not be able to have mods lock their threads on a whim, ESPECIALLY if the thread still features valid and lively discussion of it's intended topic.
Furthermore, a thread is not your property. It belongs to the community, and the community should be able to discuss the topic at hand for as long as they want to unhindered by a lock request from the topic creator if he thinks things aren't going in the way he wants them to.
An opposing alternative: If mods are still wanting to lock any thread on request, we should simply give all OP's a one-use lock button, allowing them to silence discussion in the topic they created on whim. This way they not need to wait for/pester a moderator to do so.

Please forward your progressive tears to my PM box http://www.cnn.com/2015/06/24/politics/confederate-army-bases-names/"As of now, there is no discussion of adjusting the naming policy," said Pentagon spokesman Col. Steve Warren. Warren made the comments in response to questions from reporters about the Army having in the past named several bases in the South after Confederate generals. ..."Every Army installation is named for a soldier who holds a place in our military history. Accordingly, these historic names represent individuals, not causes or ideologies." Suck my dick, you white-guilt ridden faggots.
