Isn't that what Movember's about?

Protesting the cost of razors by, god forbid, having our faces go part-bush.

Just because I piss off LC or any of the moderators a bit too much once doesn't warrant all my previous posts being scrutinised for being unruly and then being punished for all of them at once.

Shitty, aggressive, ban worthy posts don't lose their shitty aggressive ban worthiness over time. If it was just LC he pissed off, sure, one day would have been an acceptable timeout, but he's pissed off virtually everybody here at some point. Dickery should be a bannable offense, and consistent dickery warrants a longer ban.
If we ban dickery, the entire of the bloody site is gone.

There's a distinction between being a jokey kind of asshole and just being an asshole.

And yet as shown, no warnings were given for it to justify the cumulative punishment.

Either Verb was his regular self and there was a failure in consistent moderation for banning assholery, or verb got cumulatively punished for a rule that doesn't exist and is broad and based on the mod on duty, being emotional when they should be objective.

Ignore the fact Verb's involved entirely, and the problem is far reaching and effects everyone who feels like being a tad too sarcastic one day.

He could very well have been informally warned for previous times and we just don't know about it. It's not are place to know about Verb's private interactions with the Mod team.

This whole thread is now a moot point though, from what I see on Verb's title, it appears to look as if he's not banned anymore.

A fair point, but it could either way. Neither of us know honestly. And I disagree with it being a moot point. Regardless of Verb's unbanning, I'm not focusing on the individual here. This shit could happen again and to any of us, albeit only a few are likely to feel it. Doesn't make it any less fair than beforehand if we just accept the status-quo that any of us can get retro-actively receive a combo-punishment.

LC has stated several times that his ban length was from more than just his shitty comment.

but 2 months is out of wack for a weightless threat, a shitty joke even.

Either ban him every tine he's a shit for 1-2 days or don't bother, not wait until he's hit some arbitrary monthly shit-quota and slapping a cumulative time ban on him.
hence "quota" and "cumulative"

^^

I see it as a general rule, 'you can't call it out a foul if no-one's noticed and play has carried on'.

Unless there's been previous warnings about his behaviour to cut that shit out, you can't just say at a random point "right that's it" and ban him for all the other times, otherwise it's setting a precedence for the rest of us so that we can be retroactively banned for shit we did that at the time wasn't called out.

Just because I piss off LC or any of the moderators a bit too much once doesn't warrant all my previous posts being scrutinised for being unruly and then being punished for all of them at once.

Ban/warn for every occurrence then and there, keep the punishments separate (but with previous warnings/bans in mind), or don't ban at all.

I swear we as a group have had this talk before, it's about fucking consistency in moderation.

I think the institute weapons are probably some of the worst weapons I've ever seen in a game. They look ugly aesthetically, they take up around a third of the screen and are pretty much universally worse than the bog standard laser rifle you can get.

0/10

Makes sense from a story standpoint.

- Made from plastics because they're easier to assemble and cheap to produce (though let's not get into where they got the plastic from). Very efficient at the cost of fire-power, in an environment entirely closed off from the outside world.

- Institute uses synths which are just shy of terminator-level strength and resilience, against foes which at best would have scrounged up lower levels of technology (right up until the BoS turned up, anyway) to fight back. Synths are expendable, so are the guns. It follows on to...

- If most of your missions are scavenging tech from the surface and taking it back to an inaccessible bunker underground for research, there's no need for gatling lasers to kill molerats and radroaches. Same for kidnappings and replacements, who your grabbing is unlikely to be well armed to defend themselves. Send in the synths with batons to bludgeon the dude and then teleport out for "questioning".

Whatever lesson that was to be learned, has probably been learned by now.

He's already been permabanned once before, apparently. How many chances should he get?

Dunno.

Verb isn't a complete shit when he wants to be. Shame that time decreased after his initial apology and basically vanished by the time he got banned, but 2 months is out of wack for a weightless threat, a shitty joke even.

Either ban him every tine he's a shit for 1-2 days or don't bother, not wait until he's hit some arbitrary monthly shit-quota and slapping a cumulative time ban on him.

Yeah, sort of. It's supposed to be how they viewed sci-fi in the 40's/50's.

The 20's thing is a bit off. I'd argue it'd only go back to the 30's at most.

Arguably 20's as the submachine is based on the Thompson (created 1922). Also the music has some 20's stuff in there or covers done in the 30's and 40's iirc, but that's a stretch at best.

Cheers Vien for the upload. Didn't like spending further money on Fallout merch, apart from the Tshirts, mugs, posters, pipboy edition...

Was the pipboy worth it?
Meh.

Looks great on a shelf, a bit cumbersome if you try playing the game with it, autistic if you try and walk around in public with it.

Thankfully I stopped at stage 2. The box and the metal cd case are a nice addition, but imo not worth the £100 price tag it came with.

Even less so since they later went and made an actual functioning standalone pipboy without the phone slot.

Oooh, a military version of a "Can I copy your homework?" meme.

Interesting, but I have a suspicion they've modified some blueprints they recieved somehow and changed it a bit so it wasn't a copy, and for their own improvements/modifications.

It's easier to get raped, so watch out for those ruffies
Change back at any time. Misfits had a scene about this. Suddenly about to be raped by a guy and BAM! Changed into a penis, no rape.

Shit! I just remembered Misfits, they had a few episodes on stuff like this. Lemme dig up a brief script from the wiki ... (or if you're in the UK, watch series 3, episode 2).

Curtis - The dude who can change gender, into "Melissa"
Quote
Seth (a guy who can trade powers from other people) has already passed Curtis's original power (time travel) on to a man who claimed that he would use it to go back and kill Hitler. Curtis then receives the ability of "Gender Swap", having been the only one currently in stock from Seth. Even though it seems he dislikes the power, he uses to his advantage whilst running from the police by changing into a woman when they lose sight of him as Curtis.

Curtis then uses the his power to relive his career in sport after being banned by competing in the women athletics team, under the identity Melissa. Alongside her is Emma, a woman Curtis previously shared a sexual encounter with only to find himself unimpressive in bed. Melissa and Emma eventually falls for each other and have sex, which Curtis claims the experience as more enjoyable.

On the downside, Melissa, being an attractive young woman, becomes the target to unwanted attention from her coach Mark. Mark, molests his female athletes and gets his eye on Melissa. He spikes Melissa's drink and drives her to a secluded area where he tries to rape her. Just before he can commit the act, Melissa regains consciousness and turns into Curtis who then punches Mark.

~

Further exploring his new body, Curtis starts to masturbate as Melissa, switching from male to female. However, this gets his female counterpart pregnant when he uses the same tissue to clean both his male and female self after ejaculation. Adding to his problems, he suddenly becomes unable to switch back as a male and thus cannot easily avoid the pregnancy. He goes to Seth to get his power removed, who agrees on terms....

Pretty fucked up.

Fuck, that show really went downhill in the later seasons.

I think it was after Nathan left in S2. Series 3 was ok but the entirely new cast they had in 4 and 5 were pretty shit.
It started to suck once Simon and Curtis left. By then Rudy was considered "an original" and the stories seemed to dry up a bit.

Well, both of you have to consent to fuck/be fucked.

So it's double gay.

973
Do we offer anything which would keep people posting on this site? Bethesda and Bioware have their games to keep people, Reddit has many sections to it, that body building website is a site for people who lift, storefront is a site for racists to post without getting banned for it, what do we offer besides being a bunch of rejects from Bnet?

Well, worst case scenario we can create a subreddit for free and just make a style similar to here if the server rent collapses.

But that's not gonna happen anytime soon.

I know a place gained members after creating a thread about the Quickscope Simulator game that went viral for while and Google search algorithms made the thread the highest.

So, we need to find something that's almost viral, make a thread about it, and have enough keywords so that it tricks the system into putting it up on the top page before other shit saturates the top page.

Should get a few curious views, and then a few curious members joining.

« on: January 16, 2017, 09:32:39 PM »
Not by the recently appropriated definitions, no. Certainly not for Creationism.

Frankly I don't care what a woman does or doesn't, can or can't do just as I don't care for men, because it isn't my responsibility to care what anyone else does or what they think. So long as it doesn't bother me or interfere with what I want to do.

And what I want to do is nothing illegal, nor malicious.

TLDR; Meh.

Do you refrigerate your eggs?

God no. There's no point as they last however long their shelf life is without needing to fridge em. It's just a waste of space and energy to have em cool when they come out of a warm chicken's arse in the first place.

who the hell wouldn't want the ability to change sex at will and why the FUCK is this tagged as nsfw the tumblr blog i got open in another tab now THAT'S nsfw you are just dishonoring the nsfw name
because with this tag we can have free discussion on all the benefits of having a female body, including the naughty parts

Honestly if you just mentally tag Sep7agon as NSFW and carry on as normal it makes all the more understandable.

982
If anyone turned that down, they'd be retarded.

If nothing else, it's a free power that you could flaunt at circuses and shit.

But there are other benefits
-Easier to get drunk than the male you (something about higher fat percentage or something?), so it's a bit cheaper
-No itchy balls
-Fashion's a bit crazier
-Someone, somewhere will be remotely interested in you (albeit not exactly a great one, this "perk")
-Boobs. C'mon, a straight guy and with this power...
-(Apparently) better orgasms
-Arguably you can get away with more things that as a man would be shifty af
-More approachable
-Arguably you're going to know the gossip around the area better.

the election wasnt hacked the dnc was

all that happened was the truth was exposed

Selective truth.

Sure Clinton's shit was shady, but I'd be surprised if Trump had nothing equivalently dodgy to hide. Then again, I'm not sure he is aware of the word "subtlety".
Given the extent of the smear campaign against him, and the increasingly autistic attempts to discredit him, I doubt there is actually anything left in his closet to be dragged into the light.

A fair point, shit has been thrown at him since the beginning but nothing sticks for more than 5 minutes.

Won't be the least bit surprised if more shit comes along the way for 4 years (and that will be a barrel of laughs), and what straw it'll be that'll break the camel's back.

More like men are more likely to go around wielding an axe and swinging it at people.
