Started late with a PS1 in 2000, and played mostly rally driver games and not much else. This developed further when I got a PS2 for Christmas, and virtually 70% of my games library was just racing games. I only had 1 FPS and that was Finest Hour.
Soon after moving here I made friends with someone and they showed me GTA 4 on the xbox. Since then, I've developed my taste in gaming from Racing to GTA, and the general FPS's. Only in 2009 did I get xbox live, and then on I couldn't really go back to singleplayer games (though RPG's like Fallou and Skyrim are exceptions).
Now I solely play on my laptop with Gmod and Half Life because A: I moved out of my house and couldn't bring my console with me and B: My laptop is a POS for games so I can't play with much variety past anything made after 2005.

Dude it's £12... for an economy-loving nut you didn't plan very well the party to have enough for the book.
Also, no. My Uni funding is going on more important matters...like tequila, and pizzas.

Chavez, Castro.
No but seriously I have no idea. (Though Chavez and Castro were kinda good for reasons.)

The depressed are attracted to the internet.
If you've got nothing that you want to do but don't want to be stuck with your own thoughts or notice your lack of activity (i.e. watching TV), you can go on the internet and do shit and feel at least a bit interactive.

Guinness or Tequila.
Or both if I feel like it.

I'm hosting a Halloween Houseparty. Plan is to make a tequila cocktail in a pumpkin and use it as a themed-fishbowl.
Costume is pretty basic though...just two tin cans in a toaster box and covered in foil.

Tequila would be nice.
No, seriously. I want some.

Visit Mars or the Moon. I'd settle with just being in zero-G space. A far more unlikely* dream is to walk on another habitable planet without the need of a suit or an oxygen tank. * It's only impossible when I'm dead, dammit!

I got carried away with my own thoughts about insects on drugs. I'm sure I've mentioned this before, but anyway...
"What would a fly be like on PCP?"
Funny thing is, I said this before we were going out. Perhaps she liked my kinda weird.

Hmm.
I see why things like "Dayum" and what-not would be harassment, but really... Saying "Have a good day" or "How are you?" is vocal harassment?! How else do you try and interact with and meet new people? It's implied that they want "it" but they aren't saying "Hi there, would you kindly fuck me silly until sundown? WHAT U MEAN NO, BITCH?!"
What I also noticed was that is was mostly (if not all) black dudes who were saying the advances (Although I'd hardly believe saying "Hello" would be an advance...stupid anti-social city people...), and even then, they didn't appear to be respectable people ("Gangstas", "Chavs", whatever you call them).
But the guy saying "I just found $1000" cracked me up. I don't get how a compliment (as some of them weren't just "Dayum gurl yo sex-c" means it's vocal harassment. Just because she got a compliment from a random stranger doesn't automatically mean she should fuck the guy, nor should the guy expect it, like those dudes in the chairs ("Someone acknowledged your beauty! You should say thank you more!")
But still...the guy following alongside and the guy not getting the hint and getting pushy with his number was a bit weird. Someone didn't teach them right.

That thread is just perfect. It's nearly 1am but I'm pretty sure I've woken up everyone else from trying to contain my laughter (and giving up after failing, terribly).

Oh good, Channel 4 can do another "Gay mountain" TV break like they did for the Sochi Olympics. For those across the pond: (Note the "DJ")

I used to. Earning enough coins to get a Tier 7 Heavy (after the M4AE2), and got a StuGIII and a T-34-85 as well.
Unfortunately my console is at home and my live is running out this month (not that I'm using it).

This is what's supposed to happen. The 360 is almost a decade old! The only people complaining are 14 year olds that bought either a PS3 or 360 late in its life cycle who can't convince their parents to purchase a new console. Think of it this way; the original Xbox only lasted a little over four years!
The PS2 was still getting games until recently.
Oh god but the quality of some of them... CoD W@W for PS2 was absolute rushed shite. CoD Finest Hour looked better than it did, and that was the first one!

I'm not seeing where this War on Muslims is coming from. Various Islamic countries (including Indonesia, one of the largest Muslim populations, IIRC) have publically denounced them. I know Muslims myself who have integrated well into western society.
It just seems that because ISIS and other terrorist groups happen to be Muslim/Islamic, everyone came to their own assumptions which just so happen to be xenophobic. It's sort of natural, it's happened before. (See: The IRA of the 20th Century and how automatically all Irish were though to be terrorists in the UK).
It should be a war on terror, regardless of it's origin or beliefs that drive it, but public opinion (or at very least the influential/vocal opinion) seems to have shifted it towards the war on muslims, and so the government has reciprocated that in their policies to appease the masses.

Hmmm. I don't believe China is Communist. I'm not even sure it's socialist, or even anywhere on the left. At least, anymore, it's not the fecking 50's.
And I wanna know where this guy got his facts. Where the fuck are all these trees that were in America that apparently there are more than before, and before when? And how the fuck does a river catch fire, let alone 8 times over a 100 year period ending 50 years ago?
This man has clearly missed the point. Granted, I too hate those silly share posts and I too believe they are gain some moral high ground online, but somehow going off-tangent and still harboring a Cold War grudge in a propaganda video (for what I assume is for the conservatives) is beyond me. How the fuck is it even related, I have no idea.

Gliese667 Cc, hereby named Ireplanet. 3 suns, 31 degrees Celsius (304 Kelvin) estimated average temperature, and it's 4 times larger than Earth meaning I could go for a good wander around in an atmosphere suggested to be close to Earth's. Plus it's a good 22.7 lightyears away, in the awesomely named Scorpius Constellation.

Wow holy shit. How much $ did I just watch blow up?
I hope nothing too important for the ISS was on there. I wonder what caused it, and what'll happen now with efforts to resupply it again.

Man, Pope Franky's a cool dude. I don't get exactly why they would oppose it in any way (the BB theory, there's plenty of reasons why they would hate Evolution what with the whole Genesis story), they could still say God has created that event to start off everything. Oh and btw Meta, the Pope mentioned previously that contraception was ok in certain circumstances, IIRC. EDIT: It was the previous Pope, Benedict (though his "exceptional cases" are a bit odd, e.g. Male Prostitutes or HIV sufferers, and even then he says that that shouldn't be the way to "treat the evils of HIV")

Do you do any coding outside of school, trying to create games, Java shit, that sorta thing. Talk about that.
I dreaded interviews, but thankfully none asked for them. What Uni's are asking for them? I only know Bristol and Ox-Bridge do.

Did they say how much they could degrade within a certain amount of time?
They said it would only show noticeable degradation 2 weeks after the first fungus was introduced. Bear in mind this was with optimal conditions, but knowing scientists, we'll genetically engineer later strains to be more efficient.
