Or removing the appendix to stop the chance of it bursting on us.
That one makes a lot of sense, actually.
It just seems like something that doesn't need to be done unless it happens. A lot of people can go their lives without any complications arising from it.

Despite the overwhelming evidence that the medical benefits do exist, no one is denying their existence, but instead arguing that the benefits have been blown way out of proportion.
Problem is that these medical benefits are virtually non-existant in a first world country with decent medical institutions, and that they do not always compare to the benefits that come with not circumcising a child.
Besides, cutting off a body part to avoid unlikely problems that are usually easily treatable isn't very solid reasoning.
Yes with the same logic we should start cutting off all women's breasts to reduce the chance of breast cancer.
Or removing the appendix to stop the chance of it bursting on us.

Oh no you don't, you're not getting out of not writing a christmas poem that easy...
But seriously, as insignificant as this is I wish the best of the best to you. Give that thing rattling in your head a good kicking.

You must live in a country that really really hates pot
Not really, just strict University policy regarding drugs.

Yes, I think I would.
Weed is prevalent around where I live atm but seeing as the "shop owner" is some shifty looking chav looking for a quick sell and I have no idea what sort of quality of weed I'd be buying (if it was even weed), then currently I have no desire to be near it.
If it were sold like alcohol and held to the same sort of health & safety/quality testing then I'd be far more inclined to try it, although seeing as I don't like smoking as it is I certainly wouldn't make a habit out of it.
its probably weed. people dont tend to actually not give you weed (and giving you laced weed is also really rare.) the only person ive ever seen sell something other than weed that he advertised as weed was some shifty assburglar i went to high school with. the real issue is whether you're getting mid or loud. just ask your local friends who smoke about the best place to get it from and then ask them about pricing to make sure you're getting the right bang for your buck.
While that's great, I should probably mention if I were caught with it I'm pretty much screwed. At the very least I'm kicked out of University, at worst I'm virtually blacklisted, so I'm not even considering it for the time being.

It doesn't make sense, period.
I'm sure if all the athiests or of a religion that doesn't believe in an afterlife just died, I'm sure whoever said it would realise what worth they just lost.
Scientists, Politicians, Skilled workers, Maintenance men, Health workers, That pizza delivery guy, whatever. Suddenly gone, and I'm sure some mild chaos would ensue (Not every single person in these fields, of course, but atheist beliefs don't just apply to one set of profession).
I may be taking the quote quite literally, but it makes a good point. If someone genuinely thinks that people who don't think life goes on after we depart this plane clearly haven't thought this through, in more ways than just a theological standpoint.

I suppose I'm lucky that I've never really thought deeply about death. It's too far away from now for me to care much. Was essentially born an atheist so I've never had to "come to terms" with things and accept my way of life any different.
I don't really have a goal with a set purpose in my life. I want to enjoy my life, and to do that I need to do the best I can, in terms of education so I can a job I might actually like and so I can fund myself for entertainment in my free time. That doesn't mean stepping over people, so if I can make people around me happy on my way to the box than that's always a good thing too.

I usually change my name or my avatar, never both so someone can associate me from the past one way or another.
But jesus, when some of you lot change both at the same time you may as well be a new person to me.

You think you've got problems with only 300 to go?
Otherwise though I'm good. Just had a £3 Indian buffet for lunch and now I'm going to sleep it off since I've no more depressing lectures today about how rising sea levels are causing acidification of the ocean and coral bleaching which means in 60 years there won't be any natural corals anymore. *inhales* That was a lot of words.
TS;DR:Go to Indonesia around now and look at corals naturally while you still can.
Lmfao, TS;DR, never seen that before
Too Smart; Didn't Read. I'm probably gonna start using it more when I occasionally ramble on about Geology. (Not bragging, but I doubt anyone here is learning/has learned geology here, and some of it is pretty interesting.)

What am I supposed to do with this? Can I claim benefits off it, or what.

I honestly wasn't expecting any votes for no. Seems with almost everyone, everything I post is cringeworthy. The only reason you think this is because when someone thinks it's cringey (negative), they tell you. Everybody else on the other hand doesn't because either they don't care or think it's fine, and don't need to say anything. (neutral/positive).
