I'm not sure what that would do.
The ISP's won't improve infrastructure, rename their broadband as cable or some nonsense, and charge extortionately for FCC defined broadband if they supply it at all.
That is, unless they've introduced some sort of cap on how much ISP's can charge for sub-broadband speeds. (I haven't really been following this too much, so pardon me if I'm getting this wrong or my assumptions outlandish).

Lol. Russia sends radial engined planes near the UK so they sent fucking Typhoons.
Why we haven't heard of the Scandinavians (or anywhere else in Europe) about this "incident" and freaking out as much I don't know.

A house or Uni Halls?
Halls are good to make a lot of friends, but depending on on thevpeople and the location they can be bad (Cardiff Uni halls are a bus trip away from the main campus for example), while in my case Uni-owned houses are cheaper and closer to the Uni (I can see the Uni from my house, 5 minute walk to virtually everywhere).
But if you live close to where your going anyway it makes sense to stay. I know a few people who have stayed at home for their accomodation at Uni and they're saving far more grant/loans for more important things, like beer.

People who do this...you may as well just order a Guy Fawkes mask while you're at it.
I mean they aren't doing any harm...or anything, if they're strict followers of it.

Kinder's correct on that 50% has been absorbed, however that's still shitty and should be rectified.
24% goes into the oceans, and gradually acidifies. Acidification of the oceans is not doing marine life any favours. Coral bleaching, and dissolving of sea shells which most molluscs rely on protection for (made from weak Aragonite, susceptible to temperature rises and low-pH seas).
Thinking nothing will happen if we carry on as-is is just ludicrous.

Yeah, though I didn't know him particularly well. Bad way to go, run over by a truck... School was a bit quiet for a while after that. A lot of people knew him very well and it hit them a lot worse than me. There was also this other guy, was in a bad crowd but he was definitely smart and had a good personality. He committed suicide, I believe after he had his son. Not sure of the motive, but it certainly affected me.

I don't think they should punish an unvaccinated child for their parent's stupidity. It'll just lead them to collate into private schools or lenient public schools where a disease/infection will spread faster, or worse... homeschooling.
That said, I don't know what you could do to stop this spread of stupiditis other than forcing a kid to be vaccinated, which other than looking bad for the country also could have a lasting traumatic effect on the child, leading to them to divert their own children away from vaccinations in the future.

Ah right I say "right" a lot, too. Like, if I didn't know something, and someone corrects me, I go, "Ah, right." As if I knew all along, you know. Just a cheap way to save face or something.
I use it when someone's told me some pointless info, if I don't have a decent reply but need to say something, or if soneone's said something that is immoral or stupid to me but don't want to offend them.

Smart or quirky (or both).
Also, I seem to get attracted to girls with dark brown eyes, almost same colour as the pupil. Dunno why, just do.

for the large part rely on myself as no one else is competent for teamwork.
Too true m8, too true.
It was much better in BC2, it was easy as ask and recieve. ...on BF3, you could actually scream "HEY I NEED SOME FUCKING AMMO OVER HERE!!"
and still have to wait until the fat deaf bastard died so you could steal his kit.

When I'm with friends I warn them about tanks or enemies by describing the building they are near/in, abd simple stuff like that.
When I'm with randoms, I solely use the support class, because no one ever drops fucking ammo, and for the large part rely on myself as no one else is competent for teamwork.

I don't agree with it.
If anyone discusses anything in the Flood it's like a needle in a haystack getting either a meaningful discussion or a decent answer.
And seeing as serious is restricted to limited topics, any threads not deemed "serious quality" get dumped there and fall prey to pointless arguements or an attempt at being funny.

I wish to know how their anti-austerity plans are to pay off the debt they owe to the EU.
I think it was just a good reason for people to support it but how the fuck are they going to manage it any better than the last party?

Is it well ventilated? It honestly sounds like it's shutting down to prevent it. Counter intuitive I know with the fans shutting down, but it also could be linked to perhaps clogged/dusty air vents if it's been around a while, and the fans couldn't keep up with the cooling so it shuts down to protect itself.

People like challenger, SuperIrish, HurtfulTurkey and BrenMan would be cool to see, if they're up for it.
I wouldn't mind doing it, but I don't think it would be particularly interesting to anybody. I mean seriously, apart from the odd embarrassing drunken tale I have, I haven't much to say.

That's a bit silly.
She fell in love with a man because he sounded like he came from a James Bond film, then calls it rape when it isn't true?
It sounds like I'm blaming her for this, but c'mon, if someone said they were a government spy for a living, why would you believe them?
The guy's an asshole, but considering the outlandishness of his lie I can't really see her belief of the lie being the reason she had sex with him.
Hahaha, rape by deception... couples lie to have a relationship, but to be fair not as bad as this guy.

I would also agree with that statement. Spoiler (When he isn't shitposting)

On the Steam event it's telling me 11pm. Is that converting the times for me to GMT?
If it's 11pm, I can do it. This time I definitely can as I've got a new laptop to run it on.
Yep, it's converting. Shall I add you to the list?
Yes please! For once I can enjoy this game above 10 FPS!

I'd rather buy a CD and then rip it off for digital copies than trust a totally digital system.
Thankfully I only have a few favoured artists that I'd support.

Hitler, because his actions ultimately led to a better world than we'd have without WWII.
inb4 angsty teens get angsty because we all don't share the same opinion
The fact that he brought a country back from economic ruin to being one of the world's superpowers isn't something that should just be shoved under the rug. If he'd have advanced only another 20 miles and hit Moscow, he would have likely won the war.
I would attribute Germany's economic success to his finance minister (I know there was Schacht(?) and Goering, but the latter turned it into a short term war economy rather than long term stability plans).
...but Hitler certainly knew how to garner support and rile up a crowd, I'll give him that.
I don't know much about the others, we mainly did about Hitler's rise to power in history.
Did you do Nazi Germany for AS/A Level History? It goes into a bit more detail about life in Germany prior to and after his rise. Schacht wasn't actually from the Nazi Party, but he was kept on because of his economic strategy was getting Germany out of the dirt, and reduced the Versailles repayments through Dawes and Young Plans (don't know much about them exactly, just that they reduced the repayments so Germany could concentrate on other things). He quit after 4 years, either out of stress or the fact he didn't like working for the Nazi Party, and then Goering took charge in '36 with his "4 year plan" to ramp up Germany's self sufficiency in preparation for war. I think he was still in charge of it by the 40's, as I recall at some point him stating Germany was now in a "war economy" - as in, everything went to the state, enjoy yer rations, and deal with it.

Considering my background and political leanings, maybe. But otherwise, I'm more on par with Dale on my "risk level": I wouldn't be a risk but I'd kinda understand if I was on some form of list.
