I'm sorry Decimator, but no. Please don't make me laugh.

This is beyond ridiculous now. You need to chill, starting off by taking another break from here.

Oh good god yeees.

Game was so underated and considering it's rushed devs and heavy amounts of cut content was still fucking amazing.

Hopefully with this revamp/sequel they'll beef up the story and gameplay a bit more as well as dem sweet graphics (which even for PC were lackluster).

SINGULARITY SPOILER QUESTION
Btw, was there an actual way to return the timeline to the original? I tried different ways of doing it at the end and all three had some form of dystopia

I'm gambling that recent-death resuscitation will exist though, considering we can sort-of do that today.
Died of a heart attack in the last 4-6 hours? Not to worry, just ship ya off to the hospital, and they'll do some fancy electro shit on yer brain, replace yer heart, and away you go, good as new!

Heart death =/= brain death, and those cases of cardiac arrest are where they slowly cool the body down. The same idea goes with people who are hypothermic and in cardiac arrest - they can be revived hours after of downtime.
That's what I was thinking of for today's example. My analogue may not be so good, but I meant for more extreme things than just heart death.

Starting off pessimistically, we'll will be too dead to know.

I'm also expecting a change in languages then, perhaps with the spawn of the digital age languages will gradually become more centralised with only local slang being remnants of what languages once were there. I mean 500 years ago we had "Ye Olde English" so who knows.

why is everyone apathetic to my struggle

Because most of us aren't even at the level to get nameplates for them to get nabbed.

Gaming / Re: "You're breaking the meta"

I guess the same applies to other game types too, i.e. FPS's.

MW2, you only shot yourself in the foot if you got an F2000 or an Uzi and tried to roll with it, but was highly respected (if you can call it that) if you got a Nuke or the higher tier camo's for it showing your proficiency (although this later just became "ah, just a fucking hacker").

Gears, you need dat Gnasher to have even a hope in hell to be a useful member of your team. Oddly enough though, using a Retro Lancer would get you some serious hate, and using the Hammerburst proficiently would brand you a hacker.

Fallout 3/NV, certain perks are completely useless when you think about it or a guidebook tells you, i.e. the Comprehension, Swift Learner, or Here and Now perks wastes a perk choice for that level, so why bother using them? Then you see Melee only playthrus on youtube that get a bit of fame, but even then they are picking specific perks that they know extremely boost the power of the those measly fists to something more powerful than a shotgun at close range.

GTA V, before the heists and subsequent updates had a swamping of jobs like Lester's Diamond job because it gave the best $/time ratio, while Simeon's missions were avoided like the Black Death.

Don't even get me started on Runescape...the number of bots in the efficient areas to gather resources/xp and bank them is insane, to the point that any shared resource areas (trees, ores, mob drops) on the fringe of the "efficient zone" are actually now far easier to obtain.

I guess these examples may come down to balancing issues, poor map design/layout or the general grinding gameplay of some games, but I guess it makes sense. If a game relies on grinding for the better goodies (like many MMORPG's do), you're going to get people finding the most resourceful method of getting to it quickly and then being copied to the point of total ruin of the other game features, or a call for a patch to balance it, only for the cycle to repeat again. We have only human nature and the german-level-efficiency of some people (that totally may or may not be Germans) to blame for Metas in games.

The Flood / Re: So what's so Great about Britain?
« on: March 22, 2015, 10:34:45 AM »
There's nothing "Great" about Britain anymore, especially considering it's already lost the last of it's empire in the late 40's, has been fighting for what little remains in Northern Ireland for the last 80 years and nearly lost Scotland last year.

That said, Britain did a decent job holding off the Luftwaffe in the Battle of Britain in '40 considering they were outnumbered and less experienced from the get-go, and still held them off with little support from stronk US.
Daily reminder that Poland saved England's ass in the skies.

Fucking Poland.

Sucks they didn't get recognition they deserved in a victory march after the battle, even though their KD ratio was significantly higher than any other squadron in the RAF.

I thought I was introverted, then I met someone who has a really hard time in extended social situations.

Last night during random intervals at a houseparty they would hide underneath a table. Not drunk, just "needed to be away", as they put it.

Lidl is really an underrated store. Cheap as fuck with food that's basically the same as top brands.
Lidl is depressing
How?
I don't know. The layout, the people that go there.
Old people?
Immigrants

Sort of true.

Cardiff Lidl is swarming with students, who are largely international.

It already is a joke. This entire website is a fucking joke.

There's not even a point in trying.

Then pardon me for asking, why the hell are you still here if it is a joke? There's certainly not a funny side to this.

-Get at very least a 2-1 in Geology.
-Get a gf, laid (though this isn't exactly a priority)

The rest I'll think of when I get there.

No.

It would just undermine moderation and show us it's a fucking joke.

You really want to laugh at him, go to youthdebate and watch Meta rip his arguments apart.
Oh, linky me there pleasey.

You'd have to ask Meta for an actual link to it, but here's the evidence for it anyways: http://sep7agon.net/index.php?topic=32115.msg609474#msg609474

Sorry T.

Checked in Sep7, only one person was there. Other one was already packed (currently at 14 peeps, fyi), so it seemed only sensible to drop off the url of the other one...
