I've noticed that on a few things I've bought.
Essentially the warranty is already void as "Acts of God" can be ambiguous in it's meaning.

As nice as they are, they really should be considered interactive DVD's.

I'm thinking along the lines of 1984.
Diverts your attention from your possibly shitty life under your regime to a war which threatens your way of life because your regime told you it does.

Pretty decent teaser considering y'know... Spoiler they should be totally dead and all that. That said, it's nice for them to return, season 7's ending was very depressing.

Oh shit yeah, forgot the election's in 3 days...
Still, Russell Brand has his occasional rare moment of humor and all that, but really he shouldn't be involved with politics or serious shit like when he stormed into a bank about something a while back...
He should just stick to... I've forgotten what he did before his political involvement. Comedy?

What happened to Hammond and May?
They stated they wouldn't do another episode of Top Gear with Clarkson gone.

I learned that I can tolerate mixing Tequila and Guinness together without a hangover That the word "Moho" comes from a Croatian man named Mohorovicic rather than some sort of Hawaiin origin I'd assumed (like a lot of other volcanic things are). Also, never to be in the sights of a KV-2's 122mm gun

PC or Console?
KSP is pretty good if you enjoy space shit...and failing, repeatedly.
If you want a shooter that's less explosions or more psuedo-Sergeants, ArmA III might be your thing.

Oh of course, a slang specific to the side I've never been to on an island I haven't been to for 8 years. Of course, why didn't I know what the fuck it was.....
Guinness stout is x100 nicer.
Nah, I've had the Draught and the Stout, and the West Indies Porter I tried yesterday was lovely, if a little bitter when doing a pint of it for ring of fire.

TAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIG!!!!
...I don't follow
Then you're not really Irish.
You know, 8 years not being there is hardly going to help me. Plus you know, Gaelic being a virtually dead language and all that.

Bad habits of procrastinating, but I can force myself to work for 4 hours with enough pressure.
Speaking of which, that's probably going to happen this week.

I try to get discs where I can due to my paranoia of digital stuff shutting down, but on PC most of my games are through Steam...
On console though it has to be a hard copy or bust.

My problem isn't with peoples' concerns for the ecosystem; it's with the motives behind their concerns, because it results in the kind of irrational bias we've seen in this thread -- where people only care about endangered animals and disregard the rest.
I fail to see how it's irrational. Cruelty to animals is cruelty to animals, regardless of whether they are pretty or rare, or neither of these. It doesn't matter much about the motive in this regard if an animal that would otherwise die out because of our negligence, when it gets to live and expand further because maybe some celebrity endorsed it to make them look good. So what if it isn't compassionate or "true to heart", the endangered animal gets a better chance of living and people who actually care still benefit!

The risk of meltdown, especially since Chernobyl has been massively reduced with automated shutdown systems in place and proper training and fallback plans should a reactor uncontrollably reach critical mass. The Fukushima plant is the only recent major incident, and that was down to poor handling of other hazards (which, for Japan I thought would be ready for the occasional tsunami...), rather than a fault with the operation of the reactor itself.
On the note of Fukushima, look how well that was contained and handled utilizing decades old equipment and structures, and then remember that a modern plant is exponentially safer. That seems pretty goddamn safe to me.
Shame we don't have any modern plants... Thanks Clinton.
I had to research a ton for an essay on this sorta thing, and I was surprised that despite the UK relying on it for 20% of it's energy supply, practically all of them are shutting down by 2020, seeing as the last new one was built in the 1980's... all the rest were built in the 70's, or even earlier! We're only getting replacements built now that will double that amount in power, but there's going to be a 10 year gap where there's going to be a huge energy drop, and that's if no one in power suddenly cancels nuclear contracts.

Well, yeah, that's pretty much what I was getting at. People only care about animals because they are benefiting from their role in the ecosystem, or at the very least are just scared of what might happen if they went extinct. It has nothing to do with recognizing the animal as an individual.
That's true, but then again we barely recognise other people as individuals as it is.

I find it odd that some homeopathy "treatments" are covered under the NHS...£4 Million's worth, in fact.
