I see no point in them.
That said, seeing as they are pointless I see no reason to get rid of them.
Although I do hate how the media clamour over them when they do anything that I dunno, normal people do like getting married, having children and dying. That isn't exactly their fault, but the fact the public show high esteem for these now powerless people so the media still shovel royalty shite on the news is baffling to me.

Quick question, will there be external environmental or social/political factors involved?
E.g. 848 pages from now I suffer from a famine, France suffers from an overthrow of it's elite 896 pages from now, Cromwell decides to ban fun in 500 pages, the seas around Ireland and Britain are treacherous for ships 500-ish pages from now, etc etc.
Stuff can happen inside and outside your own borders, like I can send an entire Armada up the English Channel and take Britain, this would probably make you hostile towards my country,
No I mean stuff that happens randomly and is independent of player's choices.

Ireland please.
And I want that bit up north too.
EDIT: Stats: Country: Éire Aontaithe Government: Haha, no. Autocracy. Leader: Dan O'Connell Religion: Catholicism Population: 500,000 Currency: Punt (Irish £'s)
Natural Assets (/what's feeding the country's economy): -Peat bogs. Lots of peat bogs, for basic fuel. -Fish -Agriculture -Offshore Oil and Gas deposits(obviously not yet accessible)
Military Assets: In keeping with Ireland's current ratio of 3 service personnel per 1000 of the population, I have a grand total of 15,000 men at my disposal, in various sectors: -5,000 mariners in 1,000 basic human/sail powered wooden longships -7,500 footsoldiers with varied basic weaponry (spears, small swords and wooden/leather shields) -1,500 archers with iron-tipped arrows -1,000 horsemen

Get high, maybe say my goodbyes and apologise to some people and then spend the rest of the day back in Ireland.

It seems like a reason to discriminate against others for some reason or other.
Unless it's a private list only for police/doctors and for the person(s) in question than I don't really agree with such a proposition.

I wonder if they'll ever follow up on that Cyberpunk 2077 trailer a few years back.
Projekt or something were supposed to be making it.
Forget where I saw it, but last word was nothing coming for 2-3 years.
Damn. Looked good then and still nothing? Better be good.

I lurk around Reddit, occasionally drop-by Bungie. There's also MordorHQ which was a Battlefield forum offsite, but they changed the name and shifted game interests and so I'm not a regular there anymore.
This place is my "Primary" forum.

Full legalisation/decriminalisation and heavy regulation on the drugs, and taxes on top to cover related health problems and further research into the lesser known drugs.
Warnings placed on the packaging for health risks, etc similar to cigarettes, and education given on them in schools like they have for alcohol.
There's always going to be drug abusers, legal or illegal, so you may as well treat them rather than sentence them, and teach the young 'uns about them so they have an educated choice on whether to take them or not later in life rather than "This shit is dangerous, so it's cool as fuck to do lolololol"
That said, shit like Krokodil and other "ersatz-drugs" should remain illegal. That shite literally kills and only exists because the pure stuff wasn't available in the first place.

What really gets me are those British who speak...."Dirty-English" that muggled up mess of sound and slang which is meant to be English.
Cockney? Most British don't exactly like it either. Or is that just people from Liverpool?

Well, yeah.
One is putting a hunt to good use, one is wasteful and should be discouraged.
Ignoring all the bs about whether hunting in general is good, neccesary, etc, in this comparison actually eating the animal you took effort to hunt is better than hunting for "the thrill" and wasting a life and the resource that is fresh wild meat.

This could be a commentary on the stupidity of students (or rather, ignorance), or how the media portays these people to them.
I mean, Hitler was bad, but I would argue others have been worse, both in killcount and method of death as well as other things.
Meanwhile, Einstein is apparently a hero though IIRC he was a part of the Manhattan Project which resulted in over 200,000 deaths?
You know, they weren't exactly sure what they were up to at the time. I know being ignorant doesn't neccessarily excuse it. But the team(s) were kept in the dark about things a fair bit. There was pressure to find a solution because of the war.
Hell, the pilots who dropped the first bomb weren't even told what the fuck exactly they were dropping.
And, you take a look at the recordings of one fellow after they dropped the first bomb? It's not a lie that sometimes there is no "good" way out of things. And I have no doubt that any of the people who worked on that project, walked away from it unchanged. A bet you they carried that guilt with them up until they died.
Which, again, may not excuse it. But there are some people on that list who probably didn't even possess the capaicty to feel guilt.
Some did have immense guilt, as did others who were part of later projects that haven't even been used in warfare (Oppenheimer and the H bomb), but as you say ignorance can't save them here. Sure they may not have known the true effects of the first atomic weapons, but they did know it was going to win/end a war. What else ends wars but a more efficient destructive weapon? The fact they continued even in the dark about what they were making makes it even somewhat worse.

Anything from 1am to 4am if I've got nothing important to do the next day.
I don't recall going to bed before 12 midnight for the last year apart from illness.

Death isn't the worst, but it would certainly put a downer on my day.
Inevitablities can't be the worst, they just might not necessarily be great. The worst things that can happen in life are optional, and death isn't one of them.

In my secondary school they organised thw classes by their Welsh ability. Obviously I had next to none so I was placed with the English-only speaking class, coincidentally filled with assholes who refused to learn anything let alone welsh, people with learning or behavioural difficulties and other foreigners. To be fair most of them I got on with, even the druggies, chavs and the pent-up ADHD kids.
Then a few years later, THAT CUNT arrived. I had a small group of friends who occasionally had others hang out, and this guy for whatever reason decided to fuck around with us for 2 years. Nothing physical, thankfully, but he was one of psychological niggly bastards who wouldn't leave us alone.
I stood up to the fucker a few times, but he would always come back eventually. It was heaven after he left school, no idea what he does now.Fucking midget Duncan.
