Genetic defects usually only appear after a couple generations of incest though, don't they? It doesn't excuse the practice, that's still a bit unsettling, but a third seems awfully high for a single generation of incest.
It could be speculated that they were already practising this before being here.

I.e. the parent's parents were also related, perhaps higher.
That's true, I didn't take that into consideration. Three hours of sleep, what're you gonna do?
...Sleep I suppose?

Wait...what drama?

Honestly I've seen nothing. You just suddenly posted a thread that you were being harassed and then "left" for two weeks.

If you didn't want to have shit restart the best idea would be not to do a thread like this, just get the mods to handle it and move on.

Still, good to see you're back...sorta.

Serious / Re: Getting angry about oil spills
« on: June 11, 2015, 06:46:01 PM »
Well, it kinda is their fault.

Deep sea drilling has only gotten deeper as the shallower reservoirs dry out and new ones are found in less economically viable areas (now made more viable due to the scarcity of oil), but while the the methods for drilling have imprived greatly to access them, methods for preventing blowouts has relatively remained stagnant.

I can't say much for the transport of oil as freak accidents can happen and companies have tried to mitigate that with better navigation and double/triple sealed hulls, but blow outs by far are the worst causes of oil spills, so they should kinda focus on it.

That said, it is hypocritical to denounce oil, even now as most of my phone is made from plastic and powered by electricity, of which some has come oil fueled power stations. That doesn't mean I or anyone else criticising it is entirely wrong however.

Ohh

Funnily enough that's the job I'm shooting for.

Well I can only wish the best of luck to you, but seeing as you are one of the more favoured mods of this madhouse I think you can safely say you're in for a career.

Wait...
What if you've been shadowing the clinically insane this whole time?
Well I can't exactly shadow my own shadow...

>_>

My only concern is that one of these good folks sees the crazy and puts me in the back of the van rather than riding shotgun <_<
Nah you'd be alright.

You'd be the sorta intermediary between crazies and sane people, to tell what level of fucked they are so they can recieve care, pumped with drugs, lobotimised, etc.

The requests for boobs in this thread...

But seeing as this happening, I suppose you mostly fit the bill:
- Has men/boys chasing and jumping on mushrooms and turtles for you [check]
-Is a woman/girl [check]
-Has a claim to a throne somewhere?
-Can control Ice, or Animals?
Mushrooms and turtles

Dude what
Fine, Goombas and the Turtles. Y'know, Mario chasing Princess Peach to every fucking castle?

The Flood / Why is the Peace Wall...not?
« on: June 11, 2015, 01:47:23 PM »
FYI: Northern Ireland's Peace lines

Now I can't say I know a lot about the troubles that happened in Northern Ireland, I only know the general stuff, but why are these "peace walls" possibility the best example of irony ever?

Yesterday I went along Shankill road(Protestants) and Falls road (Catholics) to look at the murals, but when we  (4 foreign housemates and I) went to the peacewall in between to look at the murals there and we were getting odd stares, and one driver was annoyed enough to shout obscenities as he passed by.

That place had a general uneasiness about it, which was weird considering the other murals even have a tourist route through them all and are advertised around pretty openly. Sure, the troubles are in the back of everyone's mind there 20 years ago, but I thought it would have neen more progressive since then. Kiyo/Magos, other northerners and anyone with a tad more experience there than I would be nice to explain why, or just generally talk about it.

Also, not sure if Serious so I've plonked it here, but I would appreciate a more serious discussion here than regular Flood.

Piracy obviously.

Also the occasional pint glass because the pub closes and I "take the pint home to finish it".
Half of the glasses I have at home are glasses from a pub. Most of them say Carling.

Mine are Guinness only. People always ask where I bought them and I just say I found them... in a pub...

Try not to get killed or stabbed or butt raped.

I know, keep hearing about stories of Irish peole getting into trouble just being here on holiday. Even heard about sime American being asked to leave a pub because he asked if he could pay with Euros...

I mean seriously, the troubles are over and the young un's don't give much of a shit. Wish people could just let it go so we can move on from those dark times.

since you obviously mean belfast, maine: do you think it's going to turn sunny today or is this overcast bullshit gonna continue even longer?
Obviously...not. Titanic building Belfast, I'm afraid.

Maybe that's why it's ridiculously sunny here when usually it's rainy; maybe they mixed the places up?

Pretty much what Meta said, with added on;

It may become state-funded addiction, but with proper taxation applied, it can also be government funded rehabilitation too.

Atm a portion of people's taxes go into healthcare, and a portion of that into rehab centres. With taxing on legalised drugs, it can be fed back into the health service, as well as disuading reasonable people by adding an unreasonable tax e.g. proportionally to the damage a certain drugs do, i.e. The substitute drug Krokodil would be pointlessly expensive when you can get the actual drug (Heroin, which have it's own but presumably lower tax bracket)

Indirectly there *could* be less hospitilisations/OD's from a pure, regulated drug compared to heroin cut with arsenic or coke cut with rat posion or whatever drugs are cut with these days... (though this point is purely speculatory).

When things are funny, but not "hahaha" funny.

Essentially a lol nowadays. Very unlikely that the person is actually laughing, but funny nonetheless.
