Septagon / Re: did i seriously just get a warning?
« on: June 17, 2015, 09:01:19 PM »
I'd rather the inconsistency and insults to slip by or get lite warned occasionally rather than outright banned for every insult.

Arguing for all-or-nothing approach will only get an "all insults banned" response, and I wouldn't want that, neither would you Lemon considering your love of them.

3632
Eh. I'd be indifferent.

I can't wait for this "trans-something" fad to actually reach apaches at this rate.

I'm not really understanding any problems here. OP looks like a normal person, which is usually a good thing to convey.

The Flood / Re: Would you date a disabled person?

Really depends. If they've got a decent personality and the disability doesn't disfigure them greatly, I think I could.

Eh, that guy is too enthusiastic about everything for me.

I mean, his radio show starts at 6.30am. He has to be ready for that before then, and yet he still sounds like it's only midday with his mood.

At least they aren't cancelling the show, but eh, it's going to lack the original trio's banter and Clarkson's un-PC view on everything which made it enjoyable.

The Flood / Re: going to watch Interstellar in class
« on: June 17, 2015, 06:36:08 AM »
I'm enjoying my summer holidays.

So far I've gone through The Grand Budapest Hotel, Interstellar, The Darjeeling Ltd. and as of 30 minutes ago, an Irish breakfast with homemade sodabread.

The life is good.

take the core mechanics present in new vegas, apply them to an updated engine with smoother gunplay and more detailed visuals
Ok, so building off originally from Fallout 3 with the added bits from NV, can't argue that. Not seeing a lack of that yet from what I've seen of Fallout 4.

Have Obsidian people write it because Bethesda's writers are hacks
A fair point.

Add more features and challenge to stuff like hardcore mode, make NPC and faction interaction deeper.
Ok, well most of that goes back to FNV features, which I assume F4 would have built on. So far there's nothing in the way of announcements or trailers that has even mentioned a karma system or faction relations, but we have yet to see.

Give players difficult choices with meaningful consequences. Explore the realities, lifestyles, and ethics of a post-nuclear America, not build a bigger plasma gun.
You're asking far too much there. If you want that, Metro is more in line with that (though trying to absorb every detail does get tedious and frankly, boring by the game's end). And again, whether its there or not is yet to be seen... Guns are obviously going to be announced over storyline in a 5 minute trailer because the retarded target audience who pre-order favour guns to in-depth stories.

It's far too early to denounce a game of which we've only seen at best, 3-4 minutes of actual gameplay.

My pets have all passed I'm afraid, but I have an old picture of my dog:
Border Collie

oh my shit that's depressing

the dog seems pretty old in the photo

He was about...15 then, I think. He ended up living like an old man, 17, which apparently is very freaking old for a large dog.

That's risky as fuck letting significant others/friends to read this place.

Not unless you tell them that Sep7agon is a joke site.
I fail to see any funny side.

I think as long as it has instruments in it it's certainly a start.

Some music today...voice synthers, electronic instrument substitutes... they're  fine when accompanying, but not being the base and sole conyent of a song.

The Flood / Re: What do you consider your social flaw?
« on: June 16, 2015, 08:03:05 AM »
I'm a rather closed person. I don't like bothering people with my own problems so I don't talk about my actual ones.

Also, I'm way too wary of people's reactions if I say something out of whack, so I'm percieved as the "cutely awkward" guy, and that pisses me off for so many reasons.
Oh hey it's the cutely awkward guy

Yeah....no it doesn't work like that here, fucknuts.

Just to see what it's like. (inspired by one of my muslim friends)

On each day from June 17th to July 17th, from dawn till dusk, I cannot:
- eat
- drink
- fuck (should be easy enough)
- swear
- argue
- talk behind people's back
- procrastinate (hardest one)

So, essentially you can't go on here and say "CUNT".

...the best of luck to you with that endeavor.

The Flood / Re: How have you changed since joining this community?
« on: June 15, 2015, 04:12:19 AM »
3 years ago I'd never had a girlfriend, drank,  or tried drugs. Also I was a very fucking quiet guy who didn't talk to many people past my 3 friends.

Now...well, the first three can be checked off, and now I'm a lot less shy. Just finished my first year at Uni, have a shit ton of friends and memories, and happy.

Gaming / Re: lol battlefront
« on: June 12, 2015, 08:35:36 PM »
So umm, why do people only care when it's battlefront? Nobody seems to give a shit when this kind of stuff is done for pre-orders in stuff like COD, Battlefield, and Destiny.

Unlocking 3 weapons early and a couple emotes is nothing to get worked up over honestly.

Because the games you listed are already well known for being shit.

With Battlefront?

It's adding insult to injury.

I used those as examples. Unlocking something early for pre-ordering is basically standard practice now for multiplayer games.
It shouldn't be, it's scummy.

I'm... ok with this.

Assuming I'd age at a slower rate, e.g. I'm a partially active 40-year old by 1,000, but by 2,000 I'm as mobile as a tortoise.

Blue = First cousin marriage legal

Huh, that's funny

Most of the countries that have outlawed are either authoritarian or are suffering from these repetitive gene shenanigans.

Got stuff to do, but that's off-topic.

Are there not laws against first-cousins or closer being married in Bongistan? Or if there is, does it just not apply to people of Arabic origin?

As far as I'm aware, there isn't a law against first cousins marrying.

Case in point, my housemate.
