This is a place you're supposed to enjoy but not take seriously, so don't take it personally if someone calls you a cunt. Welcome to the madhouse, we hope you're in for the long haul.

"Muh patriarchy, the system favours men, etc". If anything, this is showing the total opposite and only harming our perceptions of both women (can't be responsible) and feminism (need I say anymore? It's already shot itself in the face over everything else).
Honestly if one could get done for drunk rape, both should. While I enjoy getting plastered every so often, having sex drunk is a really bad mix and causes so many problems, including this shit.

What happened? I never used reddit, the awful layout put me off.
Some reddit employee got fired, but put a spanner in the works because she handled most of the high profile AMA's. Seeing as there was no warning or replacement of these duties, lots of sub reddits had to cancel their AMA's or organise it themselves somehow. This resulted in the blackout of the AMA subreddit as they relied on said employee, and rumours were spread that they were fired because theybrefused further monitisation of AMA's. Other major subreddits joined in the protest, and then it became less about the fired employee and more about the lack of commincation between subreddits and the Admins of reddit by implementing crap they don't want, lack of support, etc and later was just "fuck Ellen Pao". I could be missing parts, so anyone else feel free to fill in.

Objectively and subjectively.
I kinda shut off when those get thrown around.

Where is Decimator Omega
He left.
Yup. Got mad at our critique of his alternate history novel and then just up and went.
I can't believe he took that seriously. It was Anarchy of all places.
No one was asking me but...
Deci is just fed up with forums in general he's not even using my shit excuse for a forum anymore lol.
Frankly, that's the best thing for him - he could never take the madness here.

Depends if I can be arsed to GIMP up a new one. Typically 2-3 months, maybe longer.
This one will probably last until I get to 3k posts and rank up (hopefully) so I can get a proper theme going, but so far all the avatars I've had to modify myself for my own use, with one exception being Mark Lilly being "Ryle-ified"/MLG'd.
my gimp ones only take a few minutes
No lol I don't mean it takes months to make (after rereading that, totally blaming 2am madness). Just that I usually stick with one for a while and then make another one when I get an idea.
o ok
i usually do something simple yet classy like write stuff about marty mcfly having parkinsons
Or the cool flashy one I'm seeing now mentioning this cool proboards place.

Hmm...
Loosing sons/husbands, and general war things (rape, etc...) maybe, but it beats being said son/husband who's been shot/beheaded/blown-up/poisoned/gassed/immolated/steamrolled-by-tank...

Damn, the 50's through the 60's was a magical time where military scientists didn't give a fuck about anything.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unit_731
Seriously, two bombs really wasn't enough. Cause that's REALLY fucked up. A lot more fucked up then dropping two nukes
Yes, because nefarious actions of the few deserve the nuking of 2 whole cities... But yes, both U_731 and a shit ton of experiments in the 50's and 60's are really really fucked up.

Destroy All Humans! 2
The first one is great, but the second just adds to it so much more. After that it just went downhill.

Strange, seeing as the day after the blackout most of it returned to normal with most stuff related to it quickly filtered out.
Here's hoping something positive comes out of it... dunno what.

Hmm, I know someone who's acerbic. Very taxing after long periods, but I put it down to his shitty life in Bulgaria beforehand.

I'd like a general consensus before I'd change my mind on the matter, but this is interesting nonetheless.
Shame I can't read the actual paper though, now that would be really worth having a peruse through.

Should probably mention that it doesn't apply to you if you are under 25.
Sorta good and mostly bad, depending on how you see it.
+Encourages employers to hire younger workers where the minimum wage is still £6.60-ish -Encourages employers to fire people in their late 20's because it's more expensive, or create a system of hiring at 18 and firing at 24. -Higher minimum wage bracket for older ages means general inflation of prices, making the lower minimum wage worth less in spending power. Essentially the 18-24 year olds are going to get paid less. (Although Meta you probs have a better understanding of this than I do, so please chirp in here)

I don't trust the speedtest thingy where I live.
As far as Steam and torrenting goes, my downloads don't go faster than 1.2mb/s, uploads about 1mb/s. That's rural Wales for you, where only Cardiff has access to 3 or 4g internet.
