So can it shoot everything on this map from anywhere?
I mean, massive proportions dictates it should be wrecking space-faces all over the place.

This is my fear regarding old age, Alzhiemers and Dementia, etc.
My grandfather had dementia, and I think my dad's starting to show symptoms now.
I'll probably get it
That fucking sucks man. I heard peanuts, fish and doing sudoku helps delay/lower the risk of it. My mum's paranoid about it despite it not running in the family.

Because if the questioning is persistent it's virtually an interrogation where I can leave whenever I want.
And who the hell would willingly stay for a grilling?

This is my fear regarding old age, Alzhiemers and Dementia, etc.
They don't seem to realise what's going on, and in my (insane) mind I could justify something internally that to a sane person would be ludicrous.
Same way paranoid people wear tinfoil hats and live in the middle of nowhere and extremely depressed people commit suicide, in their minds it's all rational. How the fuck would I know I've gone insane?
If I ever went insane I could go all Shutter Island on it and have it all make sense.

Setting up plans to visit my Uncle in Kilkenny. Getting difficult to juggle between friends' activities and visits to family atm, so there's gonna be some sacrifices ahead.

Wild Wild Wasteland Perk in FNV, or the plunger room in Fallout 3. Metro does a good job of setting the atmosphere through it's characters and NPC's. Walking through any station and listening to people's stories or just a little segment of their lives just sets the scene perfectly. Venice is a good example, or the Theatre station.

Eh, I'm wary of updating early yet. Gonna wait until my paranoia about its stability are gone, or until I get some new hardware with Win10 pre-installed.

Subvocalisation doesn't harm reading speed. Subvocalisation is present in people who can literally "scan" pages.
How does that work?
I'd imagine it would be very messy to hear. *Scans page* *Sub-Vocalised as "SAJDFJLG" when read all at once* I sorta sub-vocalise, but it's in a sort of neutral accent I've never heard from someone before. If it's something I have to learn, it usually comes out as if one of my teachers was telling me it. If it's a book where the story has been televised or put on the big screen, the voices come out as the actors. It's very weird, especially when there's a difference in character between the book and the screen-version (i.e. Bourbon from Metro, or Benny from FNV) so it can ruin the immersion a bit.

Remember you don't have to fight Librarians if you just stare them down
Bullshit. Whenever I looked at them they ran at me, and when I didn't they ran at me.
Double Barrels are the only solution.
It works. They even tell you.
I know what it's supposed to do, believe me I tried. For some reason or another, the librarians for my game decided to give no fucks and I had to run through the level. Might be explained by the CD being unreadable recently... thank god for it coming out free this month.

Discovery of life on another planet - Either we bring samples back for research and it kills us (alien germs), or it's smart/evolved enough to come to us, then kill us (War of the Worlds).
>Sentient AI >Terminator
Cures for all diseases, resulting in impossible-to-cure resistant strains to evolve.
Global Nuclear disarmament - Orbital Kinetic Bombardment is given the go ahead/Some crazy plasma bomb thingy is invented.
Time travel - we literally fuck up everything in history (i.e. Kill Hitler, results in some even worse guy from Italy or something)
Those are things that come to mind at 2am.

There's been an influx of new users, but there's still old peeps posting (myself inc.).
We need to coax more of 'em out. C'mon newbies! We aren't that bad...
I honestly think people are shy or afraid to be targeted. At least from my side of the web. Most of the people I showed just see sep7 as a trollarchy, but they don't understand most of us can pretend to be nice.... But then again hugboxes bore me, so I think I'm okay with this.
Eh, it can't be that bad. I never create threads, and that's just down to lack of interesting stuff to post or lack of creativity in my shitposting. I just make it up by being relatively active on comments. I mean, I could do a bi-weekly Geology thread, but that's fucking boring. Spoiler Sep7 failed to tell me this was quoted, so pardon the delay

I think maybe a week in March or during my exam period was the longest.
As for the longest I could (voluntarily) leave? Nah, not gonna happen. Couple of hours maybe.

Sell the carriage, train with trainer and be relatively unkillable by these unpredictable human types.

Exactly. Just don't tell me not to say what I'm saying.
That's fine by me. Otherwise we go down the road of censoring and all that shit.

lolnone.
I've done volunteer work (gardening work and basic archaeology at a castle) and work experience (again, gardening, but with carpentry), but nothing paid as yet. Getting a degree and having a lot of debt *should* change that.

I just don't appreciate this attitude people have towards vegans--"I'm fine with vegans, but I don't like when they shove their beliefs down my throat"--when the first amendment guarantees my right and ability to shove whatever beliefs I may have down the throats of anyone I please. Because I think it's important.
Eh, that doesn't really apply to anywhere outside of the US (and even then, this applies). Regardless of what cause is important, it gives me the same right to ignore it as you have to say it.

It's true potential is unleashed in Last Light but the DB rules all in the Metro. Slightly related, SINGING PAIPES (mild spoilers ahead)

It ain't that bad. Large companies are more likely to get health checks and the like than some small-time chippy.
It's the small places you better be worried about. Sure, not all are bad but I would say the odd handful are far worse in comparison.

some of the best games ever made
the books are also great if you can find a translated version
>if 2033 and 2034 are both on Amazon. Physical copies. paperback of 2034 is just pre-order right now though.
You mean 2035? I just bought the two translated ones recently and they came a day early.

Is that... Top Gun? Finding out what your parents did when they were around your age is always interesting. Turns out my mum was a biker (harley-davidson, in a biker club and all that) while my Dad was gallivanting around Europe and the Middle East mostly broke and off his face. (Doesn't paint a nice picture I know, but certainly interesting what he did). If I find pictures of my Dad's terrible curly hair from the 80's, I shall post.

By and large, no. I try not to get too political or philosophical around my friends, and nor do they because it's not their interest to.
When people begin floundering what they think or believe everywhere it does give me a different opinion of them, particularly if they are constant or unfaltering even when shown evidence contrary to it, when they were the one to bring it up.
e.g. One of my friends is a devout Christian, believes in sex after marriage and all that. He never talks about it around us, and we don't mention religion much so it's not a problem even if technically we disagree over it. One of my old housemates is a crazy feminist, almost radical despite having shown her most of her reasons behind it are only existent in 3rd world countries (Meta's threads get credit for this). She doesn't talk about it much now, but at one point it was a serious problem between me and a few of my other housemates and we had to let it drop to remain friends. On the other hand, when someone has the exact same opinion of me, I have a higher regard for them. Not by much, but I still accept I have a bias towards them as a friend rather than someone else.
I think it's risky to outline how you think about things honestly to your friends or relations and what-not. It's better to just not make a point of it, although if they feel the same about something it can reinforce your friendship/relationship.

Reminder that Der Riese is the best Zombies map.
Why do you think they are remaking it??
It has the most story info, best layout and is overall fun to play.
they're remaking it?
BO3 had some sort of exclusive map for the megasuperextreme edition called "The Giant" (Der Reise in English, IIRC)
