If you're in the UK, house-parties are the way to go.
If not, say hello to the other folks in your lectures for the first few weeks. I was in a similar situation where I knew no-one on my course, and most of my housemates were foreign which took time to settle out. Now I'm sharing a house next year with three coursemates and a my past housemate.
Many people will be in the same situation for the first few weeks, so many will be opening out to others a lot more, so it's worth... taking advantage of...? You know what I mean.

It's hard to tan when you're "Irish-white".
It's either white as rainclouds or burnt more than your Dad's bbq.

Cigarettes and alcohol are worse, no doubt about it. People who are against weed have clearly have never smoked it.
And hell, if their gripe with it is the smoking aspect, there is resins and what-have-you that you just eat.

Anything death related, drowning, falling, etc. The things that can do this (Oceans, heights) I'm not afraid of, it's just death by them.
Large quantities of strangers usually gets me fidgety, so cities are kinda meh.

You guys are doing it wrong. It's gotta be meaty and full of gravy. There's also potato pies that are my favourite in the universe.
That's shepard's pie. Edit: wait, what? Why does it have pastry base? I guess Britain is the only one to have created tasty abominations such as the Cornish Pasty, or Pork Pies.

I get it from certain music I like at the chorus point, but I can't get it from the asmr videos online.
They're nice videos to relax to sometimes, but they don't do anything compared to Melancholy Hill.

I'd just like to take a moment here to say fuck bad parents for raising shitty kids.
The kid's got no fucking hand and for some reason that warrants being a dickhead about it to him. How much more of a fucking shitty parent can you be not to raise a kid who looks at somebody who's lost half an arm to something and rather than show some decency, instead laughs at him.
WHAT THE FUCK.
It is Scotland, people there can be cunts an awful lot more. It's inexcusable, but hardly surprising. And on the bright side, he got an arm out of it and is probably now the coolest kid on the block. If not, he's already started training; I can make a pinch grip, I can get a grip for cutting with a knife,

You could go down the deserted route with nature, ala Metro with it's mutated bendy trees and overgrown roots but that doesn't really suit Fallout's more open environment (it might make sense in Washington proper, however), but there's also the problem with radiation.
Radiation kills or mutates, with higher doses giving higher prevalence of the former. Given that standing in irradiated water can kill you in the Fallout world in a little over 10 minutes, we can assume that it's pretty inhospitable for life. That gives rise to more problems like how are people in the Capital Wasteland living over 40 if the unmentioned background radiation must also be higher, but that's for other discussion (and could be overlooked as no-one other than the player and a few rad-resistant characters are given an age to go by).

Depends how far back in time.
-Butchered by Vikings -Slave to the Romans -Death by Famine -Death by Loyalists/Republicans during the 20th century.
None are pretty good tbh.

"...make Gears 4 the best and bloodiest"
Well, the latter I thought would have been easily achievable, you wouldn't need "betas" for that.

You obsess over death wayyyyy too much. You're constantly whining about it. When it's time to die, why not take it like a man? Your constant obsession tells me you have a weak mind and aren't strong willed - you can't cope with it.
You're probably right. I'm not going to say that death and nonexistence doesn't terrify the hell out of me. If that's a symptom of a weak will, then that's that. Call me a defeatist, I wouldn't argue with that.
Instead of fearing it, you should embrace it. Conquer it and make it your bitch
Thinking that you can conquer death is straight up retarded tbh
In the sense that you can avoid it, yes. But mentally conquer it? I don't see why not.
I fear what I can't comprehend, and no one can truly understand nonexistence
>Implying death = nonexistence
When you were forming in your mother you came from nonexistence so what makes death any different? By that I"m saying you didn't have some other life in a different dimension who popped into this world the moment you mom and dad had sex. When the egg got fertilized you simply came to exists. Due to that why wouldn't death be any different? Chances are when you go brain dead you simply cease to exists anywhere. When you die you go back into that nothingness just like before you were born. You have no awareness at all of anything.
Before and after death are simply two unknowns. To assume nonexistence is the absolute answer is concretely arrogant.
It might as well be, considering we have no recollection of... whatever our past was, and are essentially a different person/life/whatever. I mean, we all have atoms forged in stars, used in various other life or processes prior to us, etc but I don't fucking remember experiencing it.

Eh, Halo CE became a bit of a repetitive grind so much so that I stopped playing somewhere around chapter 6-7 (a bit after the library IIRC).
Now that could be because I started with 3 and then worked backwards, but damn.

Dice has literally never released a bad game minus BF 4 for being unfinished, but you can blame EA for that.
That's a pretty good track record.
BF3. Dammit so many problems.
Like balance issues? I got it on launch and it wasn't BROKEN like BF4 was with servers and latency.
And Dice actually sticks with their games. They're still doing BF4 stuff for free.
A metric fuckton of issues, many of which are still problematic, and lacking features which have been asked for (and in some cases, promised) and yet even with BF Hardline released and BF 5 mentioned, have not been delivered.
I could go onto a full incomprehensible rant, but there's a whole other forum that has explained it better than I could and I cba to go into an extended essay about it when it's already been said (warning; a very long read).
That was very interesting. didn't know any of that.
Thanks for sharing.
No problem, that's what it was written for.

It can be temporary, but it will have lasting hearing damage.
It can be permanent if repeated damage occurs or it was really serious damage, however

they fucking got a british dude to voice the the president of the US
They also got british dudes to play rick and the governor in the walking dead
So what?
I think we should be complaining about Tenpenny, who seems to be the visualisation of stereotypical british people. Or moriarty for irish people.
Plus no real explanation for how Moriarty got there with his terrible accent. Lockheart has to be the best British guy in Fallout though, Tenpenny I think is hilarious as a posh stereotype rather than a British one.
