Much like Borderlands, it's ok on it's own but a fantastic laugh with mates joining in.

I.e. Friend charges down a thug zombie and all 4 kicking the shit out of it.

I got a diddy little Airfix Sherman and a half done Churchill (MkII I think) tank , but that's about it.

Being a plant also works too.

If we ignore pitcher plants and venus fly traps, yeah.

The Flood / Re: Origins of your username?
« on: September 17, 2015, 04:19:47 AM »
My old email was superirish1995@(either yahoo or aol).co.uk, and 95 got cut off because it was too long for Runescape.

Then I just removed the 19 altogether. The username Superirish just came about because I'd just moved from Ireland, and any silly ol' connection keeps me "grounded" there. Or at least, that's what I thought when I was 10.

Used to be "tr sargent" because my friend had a gang/clan/club/whatever-you-want-to-call-it and the whole theme was (TheResistance) [Military Rank]. And I fucked up both of them at 13 and refused to pay to fix it.

Why does no one just click the more button and ID check.....sigh.

Exactly. How did clicking the More button become so difficult?

OT, the name is good Verb, glad you're keeping your promises and keeping the name in general.

I've been awake for the last 36 hours, been travelling home from Greece. Hour bus journey, 3 hour flight, 7 hour bus from Gatwick and then another 2 hours in a car (waiting times in between not included).

Then tomorrow to Cardiff and then the day after that, Aaran Isles in Scotland via bus.

« on: September 15, 2015, 11:54:29 AM »
Misread as gray and thought you meant Earth turning into something like Coruscant:

But I'm not really sure I understand the question. We wouldn't change the streets and houses into rainbow colours, having mass gay orgies on the Great Wall of China or whatever, it's nonsensical. It's not like living a gay lifestyle dramatically changes how the world looks on a large scale.

All of mine have been modified images from:

-Metro 2033/LL
-Ugly Americans (including one Ryle-ified MLG version)
-IT Crowd
-Reservoir Dogs (specifically Mr Pink)
-Fallout, including my current one which is a greened-out and cropped image of this so that it copies Fallout 3's original cover.

Quote
-In total, you correctly answered 9/18 (50%) of the political knowledge questions. Your score is higher than 85% of test takers.

-You correctly answered:
0 out of 2 crime questions
3 out of 8 economy questions
5 out of 6 environment questions
1 out of 2 immigration questions

-On a scale of 0-100%, your total political bias was 0%.

Interesting, considering I know myself to be biased on some more contentious issues where the answer isn't as easily discerned.

I can't wait to get home and watch it, '86 and '88 were really good. Never watched the original film though, need to get around to it.

"I'm gonna count to 13..."
"Thur-teen?"

How come you haven't seen the original film? One of the best bits of the series  was seeing the characters come back

Just never got around to it. Saw the TV series, looked good, then realised there was a film prequel afterwards.

http://psychcentral.com/disorders/avoidant-personality-disorder-symptoms/

then I guess I have this fucking Avoidant Personality Disorder because I generally try to avoid personal relationships with anyone but I'd hardly call it a disorder. That sounds like other people that have it just want to sounds like they're special
Yeah, you don't seem to qualify.

Symptoms of Avoidant Personality Disorder
Avoidant personality disorder is characterized by a long-standing pattern of feelings of inadequacy, extreme sensitivity to what other people think about them, and social inhibition. It typically manifests itself by early adulthood and includes a majority of the following symptoms:

Avoids occupational activities that involve significant interpersonal contact, because of fears of criticism, disapproval, or rejection
Is unwilling to get involved with people unless certain of being liked
Shows restraint within intimate relationships because of the fear of being shamed or ridiculed
Is preoccupied with being criticized or rejected in social situations
Is inhibited in new interpersonal situations because of feelings of inadequacy
Views themself as socially inept, personally unappealing, or inferior to others
Is unusually reluctant to take personal risks or to engage in any new activities because they may prove embarrassing

Well shit, I relate to most of those. Plus my mum is crazy paranoid and cynical about people and generally avoids them so... yeah...

Gaming / Re: what are feats you're proud of doing in games?
« on: September 11, 2015, 05:36:48 PM »
i finished dead island from start to finish by myself

Spoiler
yes i was really sadistic and wanted myself to suffer

Wait, Dead Island was crazy hard on singleplayer? I'm adding that to my feats list.

I'm just over halfway from Colonel 100 on BF3, and with a friend we can hold flags in conquest no matter what comes up. I can do great even when I'm fucking around (x12 scope w/ frag rounds on a shotgun = retarded rampage)

I'm also proud that I completed Space Invaders for PS1 in one sitting (at the time I couldn't save progress, so I got better over time to reach the finish in a day).

I get a few stuff down when I'm busy (procrastination feeds my part-hobby) and I did draw a few birthday cards for people, but I wouldn't say I'm an excellent sketcher.

Lol Deci.

Complaining about the mods because they don't work in your favour when you get in a shit-fit over nothing.

Turns out I gotta leave for a flight at 5am tomorrow and I couldn't play for more than an hour or else I'd be wrecked.

But seriously, unless it's the Cork-Irish accent you don't really want it. Dublin-Irish is ok, but it sounds rough.

Serious / Re: Should suicide be illegal?
« on: September 04, 2015, 03:11:42 PM »
Can't say much for rules regarding suicide, but making assisted suicide illegal (or at least, partially) is to do with making sure people aren't coerced by others to commit suicide for their own gain.

It's fine if some person with a terminal disease and a sane mind wants help travelling to a place to commit suicide themselves (be it to the "local suicide centre around the corner" or in Switzerland), but it's a bit gray when the reason behind the suicide could be because their carer couldn't be arsed anymore and just wanted it over and done with, which led them down the path of assisted suicide.

Several centuries ago (might have been in effect up until recently, don't know myself) in the UK a failed suicide attempt was punishable by hanging... what?!

Shit, didn't realise she was that old. Prince Charles must be getting pretty pissed by now.
