You don't need em anyway. Get yourself some good power armor, some good weapons, lots of stimpaks, and Deathclaws are just gonna be....not so bad.

Pack extra underwear anyway.

Essentially.

Unless you have the Winterized T-51b Power Armor and a Gauss Rifle.

Or the most useless weapon EXCEPT for one thing...

No, verb. That's cheating!
The dartgun. You can kill deathclaws with a Chinese pistol if you so wish after a shot with that.

if you're talking about rad-x and rad-away, then i have no problem with those

'cause you can't get addicted to them

but shit like psycho, and jet, and buffout?... fuck that shit

There's always perks for that though.

Plus, you'll love your friends, Med-ex and Pyscho for when you need to tank damage for Deathclaws.

Spectrums of things.

Bumping because there's the most people I've ever seen in here atm.

Spoiler

Wait

It's less than 2 weeks till Fallout 4?

yes

I find it funny how women are considered the softer sex but at the same time the most dangerous of the species.

I guess the latter applies more to animals in the wild, but people apply it to women enough times.

If you're a woman, the default answer is yes, everywhere.

If you're a man, the default answer is no, anywhere.

All right. I'm gonna try and get as much done possible today before the GOP debates start.

How hard would it be to do a vegan-only playthrough of this?...

Water & Stimpaks being pretty much the only things you could consume.
No armor, either--if it's made out of some animal hide.

I won't try--I've justified it mentally by saying, well, society's SO fucked anyway, so it doesn't really matter.

Can't take Jet, for one.

It's taken from Brahmin dung... technically an animal product?

In FNV it's possible, I think. Caesar's Legion has a strict "no-chems" policy, so most of their stuff is derived from plants... so it's easy to maintain a serial-killer vegan gamestyle.

Didn't last very long, to my dismay.

...

What?

They listen to reasonable suggestions, easy to communicate to and have constant updates/bug fixes at no extra cost from the original release of the game.

That's good dev'ing if I've ever seen it.

The Flood / Re: How many pairs of shoes do you own?
« on: October 28, 2015, 10:43:41 AM »
Currently having the most pairs of shoes ever right now... 4.

-Serious walking boots for fieldwork and inclement weather.
-Not-so-serious walking boots, old and repaired the soles with superglue. Mostly for long walks but not for serious outdoor shit
-Some old POS trainers, for... I don't even know what.
-Some fake greek Converses, for inside and city-slicking in the sun (not that I get much this half of the year)

I wouldn't think about it. Kindly refuse and move on.

This is the trouble that gay people have in general, unless someone outright says they're gay it can be difficult to tell just from mannerisms and such. Hell, given his age he might not even be gay, he might just be some lonely old man.

I'd consider it a polite offer, he only asked for lunch (unless you're missing out some more sinister details here). It's a lot better than him coming over and saying he'd like to bend you over his couch and fuck you, if that even was his intention.

2717
We're talking about major factors to join, silly guys.

Fallout 3 only had 1 in that regard, but if you're talking about factions in GENERAL? There was like Enclave, BoS, Outcast, Slavers, Talon Company (they need more screen time and meaning), Rileys Rangers... Uhhh that's all I can think of in base game. DLC not included.

There's also the Regulators (who also needed a tad more explaining. I guess they were just supposed to contrast Talon Company), and I guess Tenpenny's lot and the ghouls trying to get in...

Wouldn't technically the Enclave still be counted as a playable side, considering you can help Eden out in the base game with the modified FEV, and in Broken Steel you can use the Enclave Mobile Crawler to nuke the Citadel from orbit?

2718
THREE FACTIONS LMAO

Eh.

FNV had 3 (4 if you technically count yourself), F3 had 2, and prior to that it was... 1?
What?

FNV had like 8 factions. That's not even factoring The Strip factions either.

So...

Are you purposely ignoring the multiple factions in Fallout 3 or is it just memory bias?

The Flood / Re: Do you live in a village?
« on: October 27, 2015, 11:03:35 AM »
I live in a village of 2,000 people, though that fluctuates a lot because the majority of them are over 50 and a majority of those past retirement. You see a lotta ambulances...

Nearby is a town of 20,000. Not even sure it's a town exactly, more a "historic" town.

In Ireland, I lived in a hamlet, about 5-6 houses on a backroad near to a not much larger village, and a bajillion fields.
Noice. This is interesting.
Doesn't even have a wikipedia page.
It's considered a part of nearby Fenit.

Russia proposes that everyone else build a highway for them to get their tanks through Europe, UK and the US quickly for when they strike.

FTFY.

But seriously, it's quite an undertaking that requires a feat of engineering (unless they're bypassing mountain ranges on the way), and a shit-ton of spare money that nobody really has at the moment. Plus, you know, easy-access for crossing borders, not something Europe wants atm for illegal migrants or the Roflstomp Russian Military.

And please say this isn't the proposed route...

That's going through the Urals, the Arctic North, the Bering sea. Maintenance costs and a method of keeping it ice-free are going to be astronomical.

I don't know too much about it, but it looks to be the only time so far I've seen the House of Lords to be of use.

Also, not quite understanding this diagram:

Are the £/hr values considered the proposed bracket of incomes expected to face cuts? Because this would fuck over most of Wales considering many jobs are below that threshold (or does that mean they are exempt from these? I seriously don't know).
