I dunno, 8.1 is pretty good with Classic Shell. All the minor benefits of 8 but without the annoying Start screen panels.
That said, I'm not upgrading from here either. I don't need 10.

So I had to stop playing Fallout 3, simply because of how clunky it is. Even with the ADS, it was just very very annoying for me to play as compared to NV's gunplay.
What? I thought NV's gun-stuff was basically F3's ported over with added Iron sights, some ammo types and modifications thrown in.

Yeah, Séamus is pretty good. My only gripe is that it doesn't fit well with computers. Most websites or even important documents don't like the "é" bit and change it to "S%Ãamus" online, so I have to use the standard e which doesn't make sense.
Turns Séamus (Shay-mus) into Seamus (See-mus).
If I had to have a change of name I'd have Jacob. Sounds pretty neat.

I intend to be here until the site dies or I grow out of it, whatever that means.
It would be nice that I could get around 100 days' worth before I ever decided to leave if the site doesn't die first. Then, I'd just keep going.

Haven't done a real one yet, but so far I've done a few essays.
-Comparisons between Irish and Welsh Language (specifically fluency by country and schemes to encourage native language use) -Nuclear Power in the UK and proposed plans for the future. -The local geology of my area and how it ties in to everything else.
Both are only interesting if you're into that sorta thing.

In terms of gameplay, it's kind of impossible to compare Fallout 1 and 2 to 3 and NV, considering they're entirely different genre's at that point. which is interesting
how come they made such a drastic change anyway
Well, 1 and 2 were made by Interplay, 3 and NV by Bethesda.
Bethesda published it, Obsidian (the remnants of Interplay IIRC) made sure it was more to the original Fallouts (keeping to lore in the West Coast and all that). Also, can't really defend the old Fallouts under 90's games. Fallout 1 as released only a year before Half Life (An FPS, I know, but it doesn't seem difficult to incorporate RPG elements into it... just look at the new Fallouts)

Wow, loaded question there. Anywho, it depends. For some people it's just for recreational use, and so long as isn't any more damaging to themselves as anything else then who am I to judge, or care. As for others, it's addiction, usually to some hard shit that is nigh impossible to see as "recreative" in any form and can start for a lot of reasons. Moviegoers use escapism to transport themselves to a new world with an interesting story, drug addicts (at least, at first) use drugs to escape from the life they live and see things in a more pleasurable light, or just to deprive all senses and burn some hours away. Here, this vid is useful:

It's the same when people talk about politics.
"We shouldn't have allied with X country" "Our economy is doing great"
No, no-one in that country knows who the hell you are, and your financial shit suddenly hasn't risen by billions.

I hope this one doesn't have those disgusting avatars. I imagine those are what AIDS looks like under a microscope.
I can confirm that they are unconfirmed. Forever.

So what does it mean if I don't have a bookshelf or any books?
You equally hate everyone.

I'm not very good at it.
Hell sometimes I can't even get the gist of what someone is conveying in person.

Everything else I generally got down if I like it.

Meh/10.
It does seem like everyone just migrates there, so to be fair some of the discussion shit that wasn't about Elegiac or Isara was somewhat interesting.

I just write it like I normally do.
I really don't get signatures. Yeah the squiggles look cool if done well, but I've never seen a decent one that was actually legible.

Battlefield. It went too far with the LA Police suddenly having RPG's to shoot criminals with assault weapons.
Bad Company could do with another spin off though.

Depends. I could compare the transport links in previously colonised African countries to Ethiopia, one that was never colonised.
Basically, Ethiopia has fuck all. The other ones do. Not saying it's a fantastic thing to be colonised, but look at places like Kenya and North Africa, hell even Libya. They at least had infrastructure to be destroyed rather than nothing.
They would be better off as a country, but the native people living there? Nah...

Never been banned anywhere, actually.
Odd.
<:
I've been expecting bans from a few places (not here though, any shit I'd pull here would be tame in comparison). Half expecting [USER HAS BEEN BLACKLISTED] just for mod shits 'n' giggles.

It can depend.
Am I donating money to a charitable cause because the end goal is to make me look good, or is it stealing money so I can buy something for myself later?
Sometimes selfishness has an indirect result of being a good act to people around you or those involved in the act, while it can also be straight up malicious in nature with no intended or unintended good outcomes for anyone but yourself. It's easier to do the latter of course, so I'd hazard that selfishness is seen as a more negative thing because we are lazy and it's just easier to be a total asshole more of the time than "selfishness in disguise".

Of course, my favourite media should be clearly relatable by the opposite gender... I think I might play my male-dominated music a bit louder, and read another book on war, written by a male historian.
...because it's totally a fault that I have to fix, right?
Get the fuck outta my interests, crazy people.

It can't. The dead rise up and kill, and then rise and kill again!
After looking at that infographic, it's clearly ghosts that need to die.
