I guess it comes down to aspirations of some people. There certainly is one, but god help you if you mention it.

The Flood / Weird shit that happens where you live« on: February 23, 2016, 07:23:53 PM »
This keeps cropping up recently amongst friends, so I thought I'd share. For context, I live in a Welsh village in the middle of nowhere, where old Engish retirees basically go to die, so this is a sorta big deal.
Vietnamese "Gardener" jailed after cannabis farm valued at £230K found in St. Dogs. So yeah, any weird or crazy shit pop in the news recently from wherever you live? The weirder, the better. 1996

At first glance of that word it looks like another stepping stone on the path to hating men, because men. Why not fiddle with the words a little bit to indoctrinate someone?
But then Cindy showed a pretty fair use of it, although I find it a bit odd. If someone was "transmisogynistic", does that mean they don't mind MtF's? How the hell does that work? 2001

I don't understand this.
People are asking "why hasn't this concern been raised?"...when that was what the court was for. He was found innocent, case closed. Just because she's considered "high profile" and is a woman shouldn't (and hopefully, won't) be grounds for a retrial or defamation of the guy. Sure, he could be an asshole (it's not like I've ever heard of the guy before it's been splurged on the news and projectile vomited across the internet), but within legal grounds he can't be jailed and within work he can't be fired for that. 2010

At least if it's bad, I've an Irish passport so it's not like I'll lose all of the EU benefits...whatever they are. |
