You guys should come on up to Bristol and we can go Nandos together.
Bristol isn't that far from London is it?
2-3 hour drive. Ish.

Ish*

*Depending on the traffic (there's always traffic), and whether the crossing motorway junction on the M4 is busy (it always is).

I think everyone's broken in some form or manner, it's just a matter of seeing the fractures.

(And obviously, some damage is worse than others)

>superirish

i've been misled

Now, this is a story all about how
My life got flipped-turned upside down
And I'd like to take a minute
So just sit right there
I'll tell you how I became the prince of a town called Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch

In Western Ireland born and raised
On the playground was where I spent most of my days
Chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool
And all slitherin' some hurley outside of the school
When a couple of guys who were up to no good
Started acting the maggot in my neighborhood
I got in one little fight and my mom got scared
She said 'You're movin' with your Father to Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch

So far the only one across the pond.

I could see why you'd delete evidence, even if it could save them from a harsher punishment. Basic logic: "If I completely remove myself from this, I can't get in trouble, hooray!"

I suppose he can't exactly get in trouble for owning CP if he deleted it, right?
He's a minor himself so I'm not sure if that comes into play.
I'm fairly certain they can both potentially be charged for CP, actually. Might depend on the state.

Wow. What a way to fuck up two lives before they really know what's going on.

Serious / Re: Where is the American working class?
« on: February 24, 2016, 10:59:34 AM »
I guess it comes down to aspirations of some people. There certainly is one, but god help you if you mention it.

"Working class" to a country that is supposedly the land of opportunity can't exist, everyone has to be above what's considered basic.

Somebody who was only somewhat Irish, but believed in his heart and got drunk on whiskey every day.

That is actually half-accurate.

The Flood / Weird shit that happens where you live
« on: February 23, 2016, 07:23:53 PM »
This keeps cropping up recently amongst friends, so I thought I'd share. For context, I live in a Welsh village in the middle of nowhere, where old Engish retirees basically go to die, so this is a sorta  big deal.
Vietnamese "Gardener" jailed after cannabis farm valued at £230K found in St. Dogs.

So yeah, any weird or crazy shit pop in the news recently from wherever you live? The weirder, the better.

I am a connoisseur of pasta dishes, I make michelin-star-grade bolognese, and I occasionally make soda bread.

Also toasting things counts as cooking, right?

World at War ones were great.
-Castle
-Cliffside, so good they made it into a golfcourse.
-Seelow
-Roundhouse
-Nightfire
-Banzai (The Japanese DLC one... with a bridge, and some caves part)
-Makin Night
-Asylum
-KneeDeep
-Upheaval (The battered German street that led to the Asylum in campaign)
-Airfield
-Hangar
-Breach

Fuck Nuketown and the clusterfuck it stands for.

Serious / Re: "Transmisogyny"
« on: February 21, 2016, 09:46:06 PM »
At first glance of that word it looks like another stepping stone on the path to hating men, because men. Why not fiddle with the words a little bit to indoctrinate someone?

But then Cindy showed a pretty fair use of it, although I find it a bit odd. If someone was "transmisogynistic", does that mean they don't mind MtF's? How the hell does that work?

I'm pretty low maintenance here. If someone liked me and weren't too psychologically damaged or physically grotesque then I could date them.

Normally I write a basic intro to fit my idea for the topic, write the body of the essay and then go back and modify the intro accordingly.

« on: February 20, 2016, 02:28:24 PM »
I don't understand this.

People are asking "why hasn't this concern been raised?"...when that was what the court was for. He was found innocent, case closed. Just because she's considered "high profile" and is a woman shouldn't (and hopefully, won't) be grounds for a retrial or defamation of the guy.

Sure, he could be an asshole (it's not like I've ever heard of the guy before it's been splurged on the news and projectile vomited across the internet), but within legal grounds he can't be jailed and within work he can't be fired for that.

Damn. I've been reading around briefly and I can't tell if leaving the EU is good or bad.

At least if it's bad, I've an Irish passport so it's not like I'll lose all of the EU benefits...whatever they are.
