On the one hand, it gives an incentive to rise up. That's the complete opposite of what you want.
E.g. The mother who had her eldest son in jail for being a Chechen Rebel while the youngest was 6ft under after getting shot while an attempted arrest was made... because of his brother. He himself had done nothing. If you asked the mother would she support Russia, act as informant for other rebels... not fucking likely.
Kinda creates a confirmation bias when you think about it. >"Relatives are as dangerous as the terrorists" >Kickdown families' door, beat up a few and intern them for a while >Family are mad, join the resistance and become terrorists >Rinse and Repeat.
On the other hand... you don't hear about the massive amounts of escaping North Korean defectors, considering they'll punish the next two generations of your family who remain (and escaping as a group is far more difficult), so I guess it works. I dunno, I don't really like this method, even if it allegedly works.
More people back down or run from conflict than embrace it
See: The Migration of the Syrian peoples
True, but see also the overwhelming number of rebels (in general) fighting back. It may be a fraction of the population, but I wager it's higher as a result of civilian (relative) casualties.

She's probably hosting them and storing their arms at this rate.

This sounds kinda ridiculous. Sure, you shouldn't force these people to do it, but the opposite isn't a particularly better option either, it'll just breed more segregation, "because I'm offended by it".
If you're running a business, you should serve everyone regardless of what your convictions are unless it is a direct contradiction of your service. If Verb was running a vegan shop filled with vegan foods, he shouldn't refuse meat eaters when they are buying vegan stuff off of him because they may eat meat later. (Serving meat to them is an entirely different story, BUT HE'S NOT SERVING MEAT BECAUSE HE'S RUNNING A FUCKING VEGAN SHOP). The same applies here. A priest can refuse a gay marriage service because that's what he's offering and it directly contradicts his beliefs, how other services that sell cakes, cars, crap, or other things that are unrelated to religion should be able to serve them regardless of what the customer is.
How a cake can be so symbolic to marriage is a complete mystery to me, it's only fucking food.

Eoraptor They are small earlier versions of the Velicoraptor, with massive bug eyes. Kinda remind me of pigeons, only scaly: Also, Coelophsis, because they are even earlier versions, and the name is pretty cool [See - Lo - Fi - Siss]

I wanna see your forum reforming history, because you're doing a shite job.

Reminds me of the Georgian house inside Cardigan Castle before they renovated the place, although several shades less abandoned.
Really should've taken pictures, but hey, found an ol' Wehrmacht helmet and some Enfield Training round casings instead.

Women in games are sexualised, men in games are confident and physically active enough to have the balls to treat women like tools (and get away with it)
Think the old Sean Connery James Bond films... the girls are just there to be sexy (male viewing pleasure), while James Bond chats 'em up and defeats bad guys with his cunning, and his hairy chest.
Sure, overtly sexualising things isn't great, but Anita makes it sound like males are the root of the problem here... we're just as conditioned to strive for a fantasy as women are.

Avoiding them by going to Lidl instead.
the only thing I dislike about the college I'm going to now is there's no lidl on the walk home
at my sixth form last year, I walked past lidl every day and it was great. the bakery stuff is so cheap but it's amazing
For me it's a 30 second walk after crossing the street. Lidl bakery is life, life is good.

I wouldn't really treat Facebook groups as a good source (you could pull up the same shit from any party or group affiliation page, same as those "1 like/1 prayer" bullshit pages), but I see your point having been on the recieving end in-person.
I say there's a bias because the left "progressive" viewpoint is easy to follow with little thought compared to some conservatives in the same age range.
Pickup a newspaper and become leftist, or read one of these shitposts from facebook and bam, you supposedly have a political opinion. At least conservatives at this age (20's) have to know stuff because it's harder to defend the minority viewpoint without some solid reasons and a few facts thrown in compared to the basic opinion of "equal rights for everyone" and no thought how to implement it other than bitching about it (this is not strictly a liberal viewpoint, but it's apparent that some believe that's all you need to go as far as to consider themselves one).
This might be a bit of a ramble, but it's 4am. Hope that came together as something rational.

Well, dying sounds painful and not something I need in my life. Comfort is needed to extend my life and not make it a slog, and to get heat, food, and odd free time I need to do well to get a good job and have decent pay to afford a decent life by my standards.
But it's hard to enjoy on your own, so I surround myself with friends and maintain a positive outlook on things, because nobody likes permanently grumpy bastards.

Republic of Ireland (birthplace) Wales (current home) (often) Northern Ireland (2015) England (often) Scotland (2015) France (2008, 2015) Turkey (2014) Greece (2015) Switzerland (though really it was from Geneva to get to France).
Hopefully Malaysia next year. Favourite place so far was France, I can get by with a little french and some help, and the view of the french alps is fucking amazing. Plus vin chaud.

I don't think riots = inability to assimilate, and I'm not sure what you mean by previously invaded. You mean the Native Americans being killed?
Nah, I mean the British Empire owning half the world at one point. Now the national dish of fish and chips is shared with Indian curry, and the pass times of the UK are shared with India, Pakistan, NZ, Australia, and a few pacific islands. I'm saying it's easier to assimilate when there's common ground. In the UK's sense, that common ground was created by invading and their own culture leaking in to the source of the foreign countries which then had immigrants move to the UK several hundred years later.

Just assimilating into Glaswegian culture.
But seriously, that guy is insane. Would've likely done the same if he supported a different football team.

Metro had a bad one.
Protect this colonel dude from radioactive exploding slime blobs. If you shot them, the exploded, you do nothing, they exploded, you try to kill them all or run past them, they explode in you while the colonel slowly walks around in a pisspoor sttempt to go fast.

I wouldn't say much better.
You have the occasional riots and targetted looting which led to armed shop owners defending themselves in Koreatown, LA, in the 90's.
It just depends which group is being assimilated. Carribeans, Indians, (basically any nationality from the commonwealth) have been in the UK since the 40's and 50's, it's largely the newcomers causing the problems.
I guess assimilation is easier if your culture was previously invaded by your new host, but eh.

Confidence is knowing you can do something, with knowledge or experience to base upon.
Arrogance is "knowing" you can do something, with no knowledge or experience prior.
The line between those is kinda obvious, although life isn't as clear cut that way. Betting you I could beat you at a game of pool would be arrogant, seeing as I know nothing of your skill and I myself aren't great. Confidence would be betting you I could beat you, knowing that I'm a world champion in the sport and that I know you aren't into pool.
