To me it sounds like a shit excuse to get away with things and take away responsibility for your actions, because they were planned to happen. "I'm sorry Officer, I know I was doing 100mph in a school zone, but the lack of free will conditioned me to speed." "I plead innocent M'lud on the charges, with the crimes being pre-determined as my defence"
And before you chew me out for this, you can't. I'm clearly preset to disagree with this notion of determinism, there's nothing I can do about it. Right?
We haven't true free will as we can't do anything and everything we think of choosing (another limitation is that we can't think or comprehend other options). But we do have limited free will, from a selection of capable options.

Eh, I see it no different than the bible bashers who camp outside the local nightclubs and call out for us rat-arsed to sober up and repent for our sins so we can be redeemed before passing on to the golden gates of heaven.
I can say "Fuck that noise" and carry on as I please, it's only when they begin (if ever) to interfere and try to force it will it become an actual concern to anyone.

Brexit was fundamentally about whether or not Britain would remain a white country, or if it would become a paki/arab/polish mess, anyone saying they voted leave for any other reason is just being PC to avoid harassment and cries of racism. I think that is a very flawed understanding of both the outcome of the referendum and the immigration situation in the UK and EU. But as I said, I don't have much time or interest in discussing that now. My post was meant not to address the UK actually leaving the Union or the consequences thereof, but just how a yes/no question to such a broad and complex issue was bound to make a whole lot of people very unhappy. Remain voted for a very clear and single outcome. Leave was a bit of a basket case of people wanting out for very different reasons, ranging from sovereignty to membership fees and from anti-establishmentarianism (isn't that one of the longest words in the English language, by the way?) to immigration. No matter what kind of Brexit we're going to see, it won't be the outcome that many Leave voters had in mind. That's just my point, really.
So essentially:

Where the hell do you live where everyone is so depressed? Misery loves company, so is it possible for you to just go somewhere else and take yourself out of that environment for a bit?
Being surrounded by relatively happy people who aren't trying to off themselves isn't going to make you as a happy as them, but it's certainly a start.

>want integration >behave counter-intuitively to our customs and values that would grant them said integration
What planet are British Muslims on.
Who knows, maybe they took the question the wrong way and thought they expect Britain to mould around their beliefs and culture rather than the other way around.

Isn't this a loss for the UK? A lot of people voted for Brexit thinking they'd be totally out, saving money by not paying for membership, yada yada yada. Now that may be completely ignorant, but they're going to be pissed off, and they're the main supporters of Brexit in the first place. So Remainers remain pissed off about losing benefits of "sorta-leaving" the EU, and hard Leavers join them because they'll see this as "sorta-staying" in the EU being the most likely option. The 48% and 52% is irrelevant when apparently 96% "Really don't like them" (although I will acknowledge the unreliability of polls recently).

I have to wonder if people who say BF1 isn't as in depth as past battlefield games have actually played past battlefield games.
Arguably BC1/ BC2 had a bit in there, but I couldn't comment on them in relation to BF1's campaign yet.

I've bought some glass clip-on frames to put in some pictures of the family and the pets in. Mum lost a cat so she's not the most cheerful atm. Bought my brother ArmAIII because he's been asking me for ages about it, and it doubles up as his birthday present.
If I save enough, I can get myself a new laptop, and my brother would get this one. Need to get a new phone because my current one has been dead for 2 days.

Good to have a safe and legal choice (with assumed safeguards to prevent abuse or impulsive suicides, i.e. disabled being coerced by overburdened family members or "just broke up with my gf depressed").
That woman's stance on euthanasia being introduced into the UK seems pretty illogical. I'd argue the grief suffered from a dysfunctional family member choosing to commit suicide in the most humane way possible is better than the grief and potential guilt ("Could I have driven them away from help and into the arms of death?") suffered from said family member deciding to play chicken with a lorry instead because their needs couldn't be facilitated.
Heck, you could even schedule your death so that you can spend time with your family or to console and prepare them beforehand rather than suddenly just disappearing, only to be discovered to be a train jumper.

God exists and you will realize that when you grow up and you're not an edgy little kid.
What an odd response.
Not at all.
Also, What about a religious scientist? Ever think of that Loafy?
Clearly they are the truly enlightened. Content that they know how and the why the world works, but investigating it to pass the time before passing onto heaven.

There's sure to be a video on youtube on how to hardware mod it yourself, or an instructable online. Just did a quick search, found one, and an archived one. I have no idea if if these are what you want exactly though. But Das is right, you're barking up a cactus, let alone the wrong tree, trying to get relevant helpful info on this stuff here.

"Please note that these animals, who have no concept of law, are flouting the law" Pretty interesting judgement thing, although I don't get why the descriptions are hidden for every panel. For most scenarios I chose to save people by this (in order of relative importance): The many > The few Humans > Animals The young/healthy > The old/unhealthy The successful > The unsuccessful/criminal The legal > The illegal Though with the few scenarios where it's exactly the same it's The pedestrians > The passengers. Sure the scenario says all the passengers will die if they smash into a barrier, but in reality there's the chance that even if it was going at 90mph, at least one of them will survive, compared to all the peds guaranteed to die at such speeds.

This is really neat. I do hope, however, that nuclear skeptics understand that nuclear waste isn't really much of a pressing issue. Its containment is already fairly simple, inexpensive, and safe.
Maybe for the US and France AFAIK, they have dedicated storage/dump facilities for this stuff, Finland even has a great site under construction. The UK just dumps theirs at the already contaminated site at Sellafield. Not a skeptic, just disappointed with the UK's response to waste management - do little-to-nothing, build moar reactors.

"The erroneous information generated an estimated altitude that was negative—that is, below ground level," ESA said in a statement.
"This in turn successively triggered a premature release of the parachute and the backshell... Gotta frame it positively where you can, I guess.
But man that sucks for ESA. Years of preparation, planning and billions spent for it to crash on what seems like a small technicality. It's like having built a great rocket to fly around on KSP, and forgot to put the staging right.
In their defense, it's humanly impossible to remove all errors or even account for them all (and it's probably combinatorially unfeasible to make perfect code anyway), so it's not entirely their fault this happened. The guys coding the thing will be kicking themselves but nobody can really blame them since making it that far alone is a massive accomplishment.
Oh yeah no of course, it's an achievement for them to get that stage, but they must be getting a bit pissed off with their streak of bad luck landing things on Mars intact. The execution of the program running the landing of the probe was perfect... just not at the right time.

Had to sacrifice playing Fallout 4 for my degree last year... and I guess this year too.
When I got it by post, I was leaving to visit my family in London over Christmas/New years' the next day, and then I was going to France with my housemates, and then after that I had to go back to Cardiff to my degree.
Still haven't really played much as over Summer I was in a tent for Geology, and now even though I brought my PS4 up with me to uni I can't play it because I've got a dissertation to do.

On campus accommodation in Cardiff varies, but as a first year you're guaranteed a spot.
The better the flat, the higher the cost. Maintenance and utility bills are free regardless.
Off-campus, rent can be cheaper, but the houses are proportionally worse for what your paying compared to uni accommodation. E.g. Cheapest uni rooms - £3300 over 9 months, inc. bills and repairs. Cheapest rent - £2500, bills not inc., minor repairs are your problem, and other problems with the house will arise (mould, mice, cold, jammy doors, broken furniture, etc)
