Ive got an acquaintance who loves Devil May Cry, shit talks Smash all the time and then got mad about this calling it disrespectful. Honestly even though I'd have put Dante in over the Tekken guy myself, It's not hard to see why Nintendo chose him given the history with Pokken tounament. Reminds me of the dorks mad over Min-Min's inclusion. Nintendo was pushing ARMS since the switch launched, It's frankly ludicrous it took as long as it did for that game to get a rep. Same reason I can't get mad over Xeno-hooker either as much as I despise her game. Byleth was still insulting though.

Also is this anime based on a game? I know there are games of it but did they come first? Because the abilities and rules makes the battles seem like turn based RPGs
It's a prequel to a visual novel but it's not a game itself. Episodes 2-5
Final note, Ilya is really cute but that just makes you look really creepy CMD
She doesn't become a waifu till she's grown in F/SN. But I also love how you all actively ignore Das and Mar who like the 10 year old version of her from prillya. Other than that yeah the show is gonna be relatively on the slower side in terms of real plot development till the second half but it's worth it.

I've been really enjoying the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin manga. I heard it was basically the best version of the story and after reading up to volume 10 I'm inclined to agree.
Still need to read it myself but I've heard Char in Origin is a lot less Quattro Bajeena and a lot more CCA/Full Frontal than he was in the original 0079.

personally i dont think id ever get into the fate series because of its super high barrier to entry
i know theres like a billion canon spin offs and seasons and shit
but ive heard overall it’s good i suppose
You can pretty much watch any Fate series on its own and be relatively fine TBH. The "Main Timeline" is Zero and then anything with "Fate/Stay Night" in the name. The rest are spin offs, most of which are shit anyway as far as the anime adaptations go. Really Just watch Zero, And then if you want to be a waifufag and or ruin your life move on to whatever version of Stay Night suits you, the Light Novel is best but you probably don't want to read the equivalent amount of text of the Lord of The Rings saga and the Bible back to back twice with hilariously bad sex scenes in the middle.

For real though, other than the meme submitions I wouldn't recommend my waifu shit exept to hardcore weebs. You're gonna like Zero. Just be patient with the first episode or two because they're mostly just exposition dumps and setting up the characters. There's also one particularly horrific scene you'll probably have to brace yourself for in EP1.

dont open until you finish the anime so if youre really interested in the series, theres actually a prequel and sequel to it, called the washio and hero chapters respectively
i didnt want to recommend you watch the chronological order because i think it's best to just jump into series with the first season
they might be a bit hard to find though, they used to be on amazon video but the entire series got sent to the shadow realm

The people jumping to conclusions about Elden Ring and hyping themselves to High Fuckand by making up some perfect game in their heads are just setting themselves up for unnecessary disappointment when it comes out and is just Dark Souls but with decent jumping.
