She was vicious, and represented the corporate need for results, but detachment from the means to them. Just because she personally was squeamish around dead bodies doesn't mean that she's weak; in fact, it's Mike who endlessly pursues the half measure of "hazard pay" while Lydia is the one who wants to cut off the loose ends.
Mike didn't want to kill his group when he knew the better option was to pay them off. Organized groups of murderers don't just fall out of the sky. Being detached from the dirty work is precisely why she's weak. Anyone can tell someone to kill another person, not many people can stomach actually doing it.
