my boss and coworkers are all leaving at the end of the summer
I'm a lifeguard and there's a fucking insane guest who has a vendetta against me. He's cussed out and physically threatened other guards thinking they were me. But the people in charge of the pool and beach refuse to ban him. And he's a cop and we've called the police on him and his friend showed up and basically told is not to call them again about him.
Call the chief yo, I've seen many a cop fired for thinking they could do whatever they wanted.
we wrote him a letter and he got reprimanded at work which only made him hate me more I think. I'm not really worried about him doing anything to me, but there's a ton of liability in my job and the last thing I want is to get sued. It's not uncommon for only one or two families to be swimming while I guard (it's a private community beach/pool) and if he wants to make something up that happened when we're the only people there it becomes the word of a state trooper VS the word of some 20-something
The word of a trooper that has been harassing you and had already been reprimanded.
There is literally no reason to fear police, if you're white.
I've had bad experiences with the court system in the past so id rather not risk anything for some summer job.
I feel that, not really worth it in the end.
