to me, veganism is a school of thought, not a lifestyle choice. simply conceding that consuming animal products harnessed by imposed suffering is wrong, and advocating the industry's dissolution makes you a vegan in my book. so yeah, it's possible to eat chicken and still be a vegan.

i just think veganism should be changed to describe the school of thought instead of diet. i mean it's hard to live as an animal rights activist without being a vegan because people get caught up on the hypocrisy and dont take you nearly as seriously as they should. but for anyone with a modicum of philosophical experience it's possible to separate an individual's actions (in this case, eating meat) from their ideals (refraining from eating meat).
I consider myself an animal rights activist even though I eat meat. It's about mitigating the suffering of animals, not refusing to kill and eat them. Avoiding companies with terrible practices and supporting companies that treat their animals humanely is pretty simple.

Not at all. I still like the show although I haven't watched the last 2 seasons or so. The only reason I ever brought it up online was because how amazingly well it got under people's skin. In all my years on the internet, I've never seen anything like it. The unadulterated rage and butthurt people displayed when others were discussing MLP was almost palpable. "Who is your favorite pony" was essentially the "what class you gon play, Guardian" from 2013, but only 10 times worse.
For reference, the only correct answers to that question are Fluttershy and Rarity. Fuck you Pip.

There's also a Mexican joint near me that makes a margarita with crushed hablano pepper instead of salt on the rim. Good shit.
I went on that cayenne pepper cleanse just because it was spicy lemonade. Spicy drinks are dope.
