Teen parents, encyclopedia, fucking desert eagle from a foot away.

This is perfect.

This is also why we are so fucked as a society.

Has it really been that long? I honestly don't remember talking about it until I was in college, but I guess that was the second movie.

I remember my hype was through the roof when they announced it. I'm still waiting for beast wars.

The Flood / Re: Why don't you care what people think about you?
« on: June 29, 2017, 03:13:18 PM »
The thing with wanting to please most people is that it just isn't possible. I like to think I'm a pretty laid back and decent person so I try to present myself that way every day. Unfortunately there are going to be people who dislike me for shallow reasons (appearance, mannerisms they don't like, any number of perceived faults) and it's honestly not worth the time worrying about it.

I knew I girl in high school who absolutely hated me even though we'd only met/talked one or two times. I was told through a third party and when I asked why they didn't have a reason. It killed me not knowing why she would hate me so much so I asked her.

There was no reason, a multitude of perceived faults irked her and she just wouldn't have it any other way. I tried explaining how I wasn't like that and basically wasted my time trying to convince a girl I barely knew that I wasn't an asshole and that I was a good person.

It's not worth the effort on your part to care what everyone thinks about you. That doesn't mean you can be an asshole to strangers, it just means that if a stranger thinks you're an asshole it's not worth the time trying to change their perception of you.

Super fucking boring. People constantly asking you if random movies are good, straightening up shelves, making room for new releases, making sure the returns in the drop slot are actually what they're supposed to be, calling people who left the wrong movie/no movie at all on the cases and then being yelled at for their mistakes.

And shit music constantly being played.
What do you do now?

I mean, that doesn't sound that different from my current job.
Turn on all the machines and brew coffee, bake buns, make sandwiches, open up shop, bring in the newspapers, make the sandwiches while customers pop in, go out in the store and just dust shit off, refill stuff, take customers, put on the sausages and turn on the ice cream machine, refill the cigarettes and snus, and then just take customers and fix whatever pops up.

I hate slow days because there's nothing to do and it's soooo fucking boring, but on busy days there's not enough time to do what you need to sometimes. I like when they come in bursts and then leave you alone for 10 minutes. Not that that ever happens, but still. I work a maximum of 3 days a week 'cause I don't need more money than that, and it's enough socialisation to keep me from feeling empty.

I do merchandising for home depot and I deliver auto parts for a small auto shop.

Merchandising is fun cause it's something new every day and I get to build things, driving is cool cause I get to listen to music every day.

Flee please put a little emotion into your voice you sound like you're hiding under a desk with an active shooter in the building talking to the police

Not gunna lie, he sounds like Belgium's version of Microsoft Sam. I dig it.
hahaha he kind of does
Well I guess that's only kind of disconcerting

Nah, it's all good man. You don't bore me to death or annoy me with an irritating voice.

You're better than 90% of the shit on YouTube in that regard.

what you call boring, i call soul-crushing

Gotta make it fun tbh. Having co-workers you like makes it better by leaps and bounds.

But fuck if you're by yourself, I'm pretty sure I saw the face of God on one of my overnight shifts by myself.

have them watch blackfish
"The story of Tilikum, a captive killer whale that has taken the lives of several people, underscores problems within the sea-park industry, man's relationship to nature, and how little has been learned about these highly intelligent mammals."

I should've known
watch it

8.1 IMDb
98% RottenTomatoes
83% Metacritic

literally the only one who disagrees with the film is seaworld

even if you don't care about the message, it's an interesting story

Plus you get to see an arm broken into a u shape.

yeah guys, Loaf and Desty are different people.

Let's keep pretending.

They're not even kinda similar.

>scoring more than 35℅ tradition unironically
do you still carry your blankie and pacifier around?
sorry but I like my western society over whatever new fad the latest wave of immigrants from half the globe over are bringing.
but you see, those immigrants would probably get high tradition scores too
Yeah but if my 45% tradition score is because of opposing their tradition, that's cool. My children will live on to worship Odin another day while you face mecca and pray.

All right, watched. The level of trivia wasn't bad at all. I'd say it was just right, actually.

I always kill rats every time I see them, but I don't think I've gotten one single bit of humanity from them in my 100+ hours of gameplay.

It honestly rarely happens for me. I think I've received two in all my playthroughs.

Really just that one asshole boss in the Bloodborne chalice dungeons. Or just the chalice dungeons in general.

I've never been so terrified of procedurally generated levels.
you mean the headless bloodletting faggot

Yeah, fuck that centipede dicked, ass raping sewer gator. The first and only boss in soulsbourne that made me stop playing the game for months.
that boss was hot garbage. at least everything else was fun in some capacity.

actually managed to beat it first attempt not so long ago on a chikage build.

It's funny because a lot of people bitch about the other chalice bosses but he was the only one that I had trouble with. Descendant was a parry queen, watch dog was easily avoided, shit even yharnam was considerable easier, I think I killed her first try.

Dude just gets my goat.

It was honestly just the one shot potential he carried, I may have been underleveled.

i can probably watch this one at least since i'm fairly confident i've scraped the bottom of the barrel for the undead burg (minus the uchigatana, but i refuse to kill innocent NPCs no matter how dickish they are)
That dude is less than innocent.

But yeah it's pretty spoiler free my dude.
well i don't personally have a moral reason to kill him other than he's a bit of a dick, you feel me

if i happen across some lore text that explains he was a rapist or something, then i'll head over and neck him

Lol as far as I know most of the lore involving him is implied and not directly stated. I don't kill him because I like him, plus he's obviously lost a few marbles.

+1 if you didn't realize this was your question.

Also you sound like that guy metokur that Ian always posts to justify his arguments.
i'm flattered, that guy has a nice speaking voice

even if i don't like his politics

It's a very soothing voice. Easy to listen to.
