iirc the first proboards site was up for a month or so. At least a couple weeks.
You're probs right, I remember turning up to the first one late.

But fuck me it was a whirlwind of forum migrations at the time
It was 2 migrations. First from FatCow to 1and1. Then from 1and1 to Bluehost.

And then yeah, a year and a half later we switched again a month ago.
He's talking about proboards.
I don't remember asking you a goddamn thing.

Anyway, sorry. My bad.
Fite me
Canada is gay.

Probably seeing Suicide Squad on Friday night. Doing nothing but work the rest of the week; not much going on.

« on: August 02, 2016, 09:15:29 PM »
Lol, I'm actually pretty surprised at how many people thought this was a serious thread.
You posted it in serious, genius.
You're right man.

I totally forgot how nobody has ever posted a non-serious thread in serious. Ever.
Case in point.

Serious has just become Flood lite.
Or you can report threads that aren't genuine and a Ninja can move it to the flood so that the memes don't invade Serious.

The Flood / Re: If you have an iPhone, it's time to jailbreak
« on: July 31, 2016, 11:11:42 PM »
Now why would I go and do some stupid shit like that?
Gives you more control over your device.
If Apple wanted me to have that amount of control...
To the product you purchased?
Just because you purchase something doesn't give you the right to do whatever you want with it.

Purchasing a knife doesn't give you the license to kill someone with it.
...you're kidding with that comparison right?

If you bought a block of wood painted like Abe Lincoln, do you think it's morally wrong to re-paint it to make it look like Zombie Abe Lincoln?

The Flood / Re: If you have an iPhone, it's time to jailbreak
« on: July 31, 2016, 05:52:10 PM »
Yeah but doesn't it end up killing your phone?
What? No. Been jailbreaking since my first iPhone (3G) and have never had problems that weren't corrected by redoing the jailbreak. It'll temporarily brick your phone sometimes, but as long as you know how to use Google you can easily reset it back to factory.

The Flood / Re: If you have an iPhone, it's time to jailbreak
« on: July 31, 2016, 04:52:31 PM »
this voids any warranty you have tho so just fyi
It's a software exploit, so if you find yourself in the position of needing Apple's warranty, doing a system restore will remove the jailbreak and you should be good to go.

Why would I do that?
IDK, mang. Emulators, Tether apps, widgets, etc. Just thought I'd let anyone interested know that you can go and jailbreak now. The window for these things is usually crazy small and I wouldn't be surprised if Apple releases a patch in a few days to remove the exploit.

I've been waiting about 6 months to catch one of these windows (still on 8.1).

For those of you with an iPhone (if there are even any people still here with one), a semi-untethered jailbreak for iOS 9.3.3 (current OS) was released a few days ago. If you have been wanting to jailbreak or have a jailbreak on an older/outdated iOS version and didn't want to risk losing the jailbreak (like me) now is the time to update and jailbreak.

Info on how to go about it: http://www.redmondpie.com/how-to-jailbreak-ios-9.3.3-on-iphone-6s-6-6s-plus-6-plus-5s-ipad-more-tutorial/

B.lind turned out to be shit so I started building this site. Around when it was like 80% finished, the flood offsite built by members here got nuked by Proboards staff. Someone posted a thread on b.net about it and I offered to let everyone use my site.

Pretty much it.

Learn something new every day I guess.
you're...joking, right?
Seconded. How can you be an adult in the 21st century and not know this?

Seattle
Just got back from there. Weed is like...everywhere and compared to St Louis it's liberal as fuck. Awesome city.

OT: Probably back to New York or Seattle. I like the bigness of NYC but I like the climate of Seattle.

Since my consciousness isn't capable of thinking/feeling/experiencing when I'm dead, from my POV I will never be dead, so I don't have to worry about it.

God isn't real, though. Heaven and Hell aren't actual places. Snape kills Dumbledore.
Hey Cheat, read my dam original post.  I said this isn't a topic which sides right and which sides wrong.
I am here to lead, not to read.

I don't hold the door for anyone. I'll push it back open for the person coming in behind me, but I go first if I get to the door first.

Exceptions being people literally incapable of getting the door themselves (or people with walkers or wheelchairs).

Why are you going up to Canada?
Because I have never been and I don't have to work.

What sites do you plan to see?
Went to this famous garden place today and probably half the people there were Asian.

Gonna bum around tonight and get on a bus tomorrow to Vancouver. Then go back to Seattle and see the Space needle and stuff before heading back.

Are you having fun?
Not working so fuck yes. Stopped in a hotel for the night and have WiFi finally. There are like 3 comic book shops on this street.

I'm glad you're having fun! You really do deserve a vacation with how hard you have been working lately!

Also did you see that I found your doppelganger?

Spoiler

If you don't know that's Bill from Pokemon Indigo League :3
Yes, I am a cartoon character who created the Pokemon storage system.

Favorite song by a teenager?
Uhhhh. Can't even think of any. Literally the first person I think of when I think of "song by a teenager" is Beiber, and that guy blows, so...
