The Flood / Re: Did we forget somethiing?« on: September 07, 2014, 11:05:38 AM »I think we missed a nameplate poll .-.Imma be real...I completely forgot. But there weren't a whole lot of new nameplates, either, and the custom plates are more fun to play with. 5313

Septagon / Re: How Can I look At Refferals« on: September 07, 2014, 01:54:55 AM »Referrals were a bad thing in your school? WTF.Oh I thought they were a warning system that a ninja issues, like referrals you get in school.Neutral for now, but they could be used for something positive in the future. Right now they're just sitting there collecting data on who you bring into the forum.Gojira is the one who you referred. As of yet there's not a display for referrals; I'd have to check the database for you.Wait are referrals good or bad? No. Referral, as in you recruited someone. 5316

News / Re: Updates to Rating System« on: September 07, 2014, 01:00:45 AM »
UPDATED FURTHER
The rating system now takes your time online into account. Actively browsing the forums will earn you Trust, regardless of ratings by other members. It is now entirely possible to go through the Prefixes without being rated at all (though it would take a really long time). 5319
The Flood / Re: A day in the Anarchy forum explained in a GIF.« on: September 06, 2014, 11:56:18 PM »Yes. Once you become a Member at 25 posts, you can see and post in the Anarchy board. How does one gain access to anarchy? I get an error every time I try.You have to have 25 posts at least, I believe. 5320

Are Mentors the new Recon on Bungie or something?
I'd be impressed if a Ninja or Bungie employee joined, though. 5322

Serious / Re: Do you tip servers?« on: September 06, 2014, 05:48:23 PM »It's not really a huge thing over in britbongistan <.<They seriously throw a fit about it; I've seen a server freak out when a customer at another table left her like $0.50. It's one of the reasons I don't play ball and leave a buck or two. 5324

News / Re: Updated Thread View« on: September 06, 2014, 03:05:59 PM »Somewhat. It's more of adding another route to get high ratings. You can have high Trust or you can have low Trust but a large post count. Eventually I would like to do what Demonic suggested and add Trust for activity while taking it away for bans.Ok >.>It's not needed to rank up in Prefix anymore if you have a long rating history and post often. And the red button is hidden as well, so it's just as inconvenient to down vote someone now.I'm not complaining. We're just saying that thee trust bars are hidden now.And my point still stands, especially since the system is practically catering to you guys and your precious Mythic title. As it's been said, with a high post count, you'll get there before anyone else will. You will become practically immune to downvotes.>.>...You guys will most likely get there, so please quit bitching about it.I have a feeling I will never get back to Mythic because people will forget where the voting things are. 5328

Septagon / Re: I just got a popup ad.« on: September 06, 2014, 01:22:04 PM »Just as I am reasonably sure it isn't the forum. Unless it affects another person I have to assume you're hijacked. It isn't a hosts file issue and I've triple checked every running process. I'm positive it isn't me.Since it's only affecting you (and I have Adblock disabled as well) it would point to a hosts file hijack. I know you say that you checked your computer, but these things are unique (as far as I know) to you, so it is highly unlikely it is the forum and it certainly isn't Adsense (they prohibit popups of all kinds).I already thoroughly checked my computer for malware and there isn't any. Funnily enough, after reactivating adblock, I'm not getting these popups anymore. It just happened again right when I clicked on a forum post. It only seems to happen on this website as I did a lot of browsing earlier today without this site being open.http://malwaretips.com/blogs/reimageplus-popup-virus/ Does this happen on other computers/devices and browsers? 5330

Serious / Re: Do you tip servers?« on: September 05, 2014, 11:33:11 PM »But that's their job to do so. How are these kinds of extra money helpful at all when the restaurant could do what every other business does and pay their workers for working?EDIT: to be clear, I don't ever tip.And you're called an asshole rightfully so. if you don't tip at the take-out counter or don't tip the guy at Wendy's, that's understandable. 5334
Serious / Do you tip servers?« on: September 05, 2014, 10:52:27 PM »Obligatory Reservoire Dogs Scene This has been a bit of a struggle between me and the rest of my family. I am convinced that I should only have to pay for what is on the receipt, while others (my grandmother especially) insist on taking the time and effort to whip out a calculator and figure out the correct percentage to give the server. I understand that in some places (probably all places) the servers are paid less than minimum wage and are expected to make up the rest on tips, but isn't that a kind of shitty and backwards thing to do? Why doesn't the business just pay the server a real wage and let the customers know that a tip isn't needed? I get called an asshole a lot when I refuse to pitch in on the tip, but I can't justify giving extra money to someone when they're already being paid—especially when it's practically blackmailed out of you. What do you think? EDIT: to be clear, I don't ever tip. 5335
The Flood / Re: Movies that everyone should see« on: September 05, 2014, 10:02:23 PM »Meh. It didn't do a lot for me. The whole relationship thing between Thor and Jane was annoying, though that was only made worse in the second one. Loki was very cool, though; that was the first movie we saw him in and the actor is a perfect fit for the character.I wouldn't say by far. The first Thor and Iron Man 2/3 come to mind; I can never decide which Iron Man I like least. The first Thor movie was amazing. 5336

I rated it at a B- since the bad guy acted and talked like he was straight out of a cliche 90's cartoon villain. I love the actor, but Lee Pace was shitty for that role.lolnope 5337

News / Nested Quotes Are Back« on: September 05, 2014, 08:38:23 PM »
This is a short update because I just found a quick css fix for the nested quote issue. You may now nest up to 3 levels of quotes, so this shouldn't impact mobile.
