The Flood / Re: True Flood is in the worst crisis in its history. Help,« on: September 24, 2014, 08:01:00 PM »On that note, we should probably think about having a presence on Facebook as well. Facebook pages show up fantastic in Google searches, and it adds another link back to the forum.Baby steps I guess, until someone is willing to upload content to the Sep7agon channel.Doubt it, but if he makes this his main site for reviews then he will probably link it in his videos.Would he be willing to do reviews for our channel, even though he has his own?I just sent AngryBrute a message asking him to join. Its not a bad idea, the only thing with that his having enough people with the ability to sustain it, you know with the proper hardware for PC gaming and the like. Heck we have a youtube channel thats not in use at the moment, someone or some people could use it to draw attention.I believe that we should set up and maintain Floodian servers across various games. Since we are still a relatively large and highly active community, we have the numbers that could pull it off to make the servers populated enough that we get a constant flow of new members. We need to become our own independent and self-sustaining community rather than just an upstart from Bungie.Bungie alienated us, so we alienated them, so fuck em. As far as I'm concerned, THIS IS the true Flood, because all the Floodians are HERE. However, if we don't do something to spur membership we are going to eventually wither out and die. Here we don't have the guaranteed flow of new members that we had on B.net, so unless we get together and become a large multi-game clan or something, we are going to die out.Thats what the review things are for, its a step in the right direction, there has also been talk of Lets Plays, but its a bit too soon for that. We would need some organization and dedicated people to keep it going. I shall make one now. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Sep7agon/467736490036329 4835
Septagon / Re: Is there any chance of review people getting the ability to post on the news?« on: September 24, 2014, 07:59:00 PM »Nope, it'll be easy enough for authors who regularly have articles approved. I just need to get Nuka to make the damn nameplate. That's already the way it is...or will be, at least. There's not been enough articles by the same person for them to qualify, but yeah...that's the plan.Okay, I just wanted to know, as I plan to pump out reviews Bi-weekly... and the whole system of submitting them is a little bit of a hassle. ![]() 4836
Septagon / Re: Is there any chance of review people getting the ability to post on the news?« on: September 24, 2014, 07:53:58 PM »I mean like, for those who are trusted enough and post reviews consistently, can there be like, a way to make the reviewers have an easier time to post said reviews other than just posting the review, then posting on the thread, then getting the thread moved to news... it just takes up more time, and takes up a slot of the subforum's front page when you do that. That's already the way it is...or will be, at least. There's not been enough articles by the same person for them to qualify, but yeah...that's the plan. 4837

I still visit the site from time to time, but it's never like the hours at a time I used to spend there.
Thats what the review things are for, its a step in the right direction, there has also been talk of Lets Plays, but its a bit too soon for that. I'd be all too willing to distribute some leadership power to specific niches that we need to fill so that we can grow. 4839

He was flagging posts at random (or so it appeared); there were 15 reports open at one time and new ones came in every hour.Reasons? Did he like say some mean things?WHY he was banned. Are you asking if he's banned or asking why he was banned?Ask him again in a few daysWhy was he banned? I'm not saying some of the posts he was reporting weren't legitimately bad posts, but the overwhelming majority of them didn't come close to breaking the rules; trying to sift through the mess was ridiculous. 4850

Most of the members would mute and report it (or mock the OP, of course). What is the policy on B.lind regarding Spanish or other non-English languages? Wasn't it a lockable offense on b.old?Yes, they usually locked non-english threads. 4855
The Flood / Re: Replacing Kiyohime« on: September 23, 2014, 05:19:53 PM »Koto is a great mod and she does a good job at keeping things from getting out of hand. Do you have any actual evidence of her being unfit to mod besides "Kiyo is just a shitty mod". I don't even think you're in a position of authority over her or anyway and I doubt cheat would give the go ahead for that.I wouldn't. I could see how adding another Ninja might be warranted if we get a few more active members posting, but demoting any of the current Ninjas isn't even being halfheartedly considered. 4856
