Just try to imagine that you can see through your screen and refocus your eyes (you're tricking them into seeing the picture as a far away object, I think).

Ad doesn't seem that intrusive and the site is actually pretty decent, so I've no issues with supporting it.

Uh, yeah it does. Every 3 you add to the end gets you closer and closer to 1/3. It's true that it would never equal 1/3 if you were to stop the sequence at any finite point, but the expression is 0.333... repeating to infinity, which will and does equal 1/3.
