I don't think frack counts as excessive profanity though. The other ones, sure, but frack has been such a common word with a rather diverse array of meanings attached to it that censoring that word seems over the top.
You don't have to convince me, but I need to think about supporting the site, and losing our ads isn't the way to go.

It works on my first-gen iPad mini and that is pretty damn slow.
How long does it usually take to download all the apps and build up enough money?
It's 1500 points for $5 in Amazon cash, and the apps are maybe 150 points on average for each one. Some are higher (300) and some are lower (80). If I'm in a waiting room or something, I'll pull out my phone and do one or two of them. You can download multiple apps at the same time.

It's already a thing. Enter in more than one user's name when you send a PM and it'll start the "group". From then on, a button will appear under each PM from the group called "Reply to All".

erotic stories or descriptions of sexual acts
sexual jokes
erotic or sexual forums
sexual or profane terms in the URL
crude language or excessive amounts of profanity
Have you read all of Cheat's comments and threads about that? He's not banning or censoring foul language, only racial slurs.
Yep, but I'm feeling a bit paranoid and may end up sensoring the generally "worse" words until this thing gets worked out.

Nudity/porn is gone for good. "R-rated" imagery will eventually be allowed back, as long as it's in a spoiler. Basically, go by the public news program rules: warn young viewers to turn away from the graphic images.

If you haven't already read, check out this thread. Adsense gave us 3 days to clean up our act or else we stop getting ads. I say...I'm not going to play their game. We're going to try out a new ad provider, which I've already applied for, and this means a few things for you guys here in The Flood. 1. Porn is banned. Even in spoilers. I'd consider all NSFW content gone too, at least for the transitional period. 2. Excessively crude language is gone, especially slurs. Cursing is still OK, but please take care how you post, because we need some kind of ad service to support these forums. Everything else that's required, we already have banned. So what I need you all to do is report any NSFW content that you run into over the next few days. You won't be banned for it, but it does need to go away. Spoiler Anarchy is still untouched; we just won't have any ads there and there might be some kind of mod approval process to get in next time.

That's really silly.
It works a bit differently than Adsense (which also bans bad language). Advertisers bid on us for a slot to put their ad up. Since we're pretty popular in terms of page views, I'd say we should do alright so long as we are accepted and abide by their rules.

So we're in some deep shit, since I'm not a fan of restricting your language (the nudity will have to go, though, for those of you posting in the thread in The Flood). We have 3 days to resolve the issue or they'll stop serving us ads and leave us up a creek. I suppose I'll start looking for some alternatives while thinking about how to get out of this jam. EDIT: Guys, I need everyone to start reporting posts that contain nudity and porn. You won't be banned for the content that is reported, but the images and links need to be taken out. EDIT: I've disabled thread replies from being viewed by guests. This should help us keep our advertisements; just make sure to make the OP relatively clean, guys.
