but he's heroic while i'm not
In spite of all the weights I've put on the ratings to give people who post a lot and are online a lot the advantage, Dustin isn't Legendary when he's met all of the thresholds.
That's how many downvotes he gets (and he's actually on the edge of Heroic as it is).
is he heroic over me because of his time online? i have a few hundred more posts than him, but about half of the time online
Yep. Your score is higher than his by a bit, and that is caused by having less time online and more downvotes.
i have more downvotes?
Yes you do.

Honestly, I think the ads are making the website (for me, at least) slow down until they're finish loading. Whenever I scroll, the website moves in a few frames, and when I type, the letters don't immediately appear until after a couple seconds. I feel as if its the ads doing while they load up.
Any help?
They load asynchronously with javascript, so loading the page shouldn't be slowed down any. It's possible they might be bringing your computer down if it's low-end or old (I know the desktop I just replaced was starting to lag a bit on this site).
How does it work for you when the ads are off? Have you tried adblock to see the difference?
It's more faster without the ads. I mean, I have no problem with the ads, but they slow my browser down a lot, especially when they move. When the page loads, I see so much going on on the bottom left where it shows multiple links every few seconds.
Feel free to bitch at them about this until it's fixed: @sovrnholdings.
>Twitter
Fine..
I've already done it and hope to get a reply back, and if they don't send me a reply to my email I'll send another one of those (and another and another) until they reply.

My laptop is fairly new, with an SSD and i5, even as I typed this, it still lags a bit. I'll try with adblock on and tell you in a few minutes.
No, never mind, I just tried it out and there is a small amount of lag (and I have a pretty high-end computer). *sigh* I really hate these ad people, but the ads are just now starting to make more money than adsense... I'll send another barrage of emails and try their twitter to see if I can get this resolved.

Uncle Ben once said, "with great power comes great responsibility."
Um, he didn't actually say that, though.
In the comics?
Nope, not once. The quote is often misattributed to him, though.
Don't the movies and later comics show him saying it, though?
Did they? It's been a while since I saw any Spider-Man movies.
Yes, multiple times. It's actually part of Weird Al's Ode to a Superhero song: "With great power comes great responsibility" ... that's the catchphrase of ol' Uncle Ben. If you missed it, don't worry, they'll say the line again and again and again.

Due to having very little empathy for other people, I have pretty much no remorse for anything I've done which could be considered immoral. I'm fairly sure I could be called a pathological liar, and can act in considerably manipulative ways. Especially when angry, I can have the intense desire to bully people either verbally or physically.
The orange is pretty much me as well, though I have a strange quirk that makes it difficult for me to straight-up tell a lie. My question is: do you think that the laws/social expectations of your area can act to fill in the gaps for your lack of guilt/empathy? As in: would you think twice about killing someone because you knew you could be caught and arrested?

Alright how do we sign up or whatever? Not played customs in a long time, wanna make sure I get in.
Have people actually got fun custom games to play? Fat kid, etc.
There will likely be infection games, but there's going to be some standard FFA and team games as well (I can't stand a custom game night filled with nothing but infection and gimmick games). And to sign up, just show up in the party when it's time. Post here if you can't get in and I'll invite you.

If there was proof presented that could be replicated and reasonably confirmed as authentic and true, then I'd switch over without fuss. It's not about belief and faith for atheists, it's about reality.

I'd like someone who this is happening to to at least try it on a different browser... I've yet to get a single one of these so I can't test it myself.
In any case, if they don't respond tomorrow, I'll send another email. I've also been tinkering with sandboxed iframes, and there might be something there in regard to the ads. I'll let everyone know what's up when I know more.

The things they say about him... can he really fly? I heard he can disappear...
Soaking up the likes on a batman quote.
I couldn't resist given your...umm...resemblance to one of the characters in the film.

Just got this email and thought I'd pass it along to you guys so you don't freak out when the site is down. This email is notification of server maintenance which will occur during the week of, 17 to 21 November, 2014, between 10:00 pm and 3:00 am MST (UTC/GMT-7), for the server which hosts sep7agon.net.
We expect the estimated downtime to be 30 to 45 minutes while the server is rebooted. We expect no adverse affects to your data's integrity, and any temporary performance issues you experience may be due to the maintenance process. This maintenance adds extra security to your server and resolves issues relating to server performance.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

I already sold my 360 and my game library >.> I'll be getting my One on Thursday, so I guess I'll vote for MCC.
But yeah, why not both? Reach at one time and MCC at the other?
Yeah, we're going to do that. Since a few more people want Reach and it's very likely people have the game, let's go with that one first (Saturday night) and MCC on Sunday night.

I sent another email after they finally got back about the audio ads (lol). I linked them to all of your complaint threads/posts, so that should be more than enough evidence for them (or so I hope).

Ironman's been MIA for a while now and we need someone to fill the spot as thread-mover and first-post-approver. So instead of me picking, I thought I would let it be more of an open and transparent process. Basically, if you think you're up for being staff and having the responsibility of working with the mods to approve first posts and move threads, then post a few paragraphs here explaining why you're the person for the job. I'll choose from among those who apply. The due date is Friday (Nov. 21) at 8:00PM CST.

I'm a huge fan of both Eddie Brock and the ultimate version, Edward Brock Jr. I hate, hate, hate Mac Gargan as Venom and I'm not really a fan of Flash's version, either.

The hate going back and forth between Sep7agon and B.net is fucking pathetic.
I smile every time I see a hate thread on B.net about this place. Reading the comments that follow is always a hoot.

I used to think so, but then I read about the gameshow question with 3 doors (like off of 21) and realized you can actually use data from random outcomes to predict future outcomes...
