You are one of the Analysts - a rational and impartial individual who enjoys intellectual pursuits and prizes independence. You are known for your impressive knowledge, ability to juggle multiple concepts and insatiable curiosity.

Weaknesses
Very Private and Withdrawn: Yes.

Insensitive: Often.

Absent-minded: Yes.

Condescending: Frequently IRL; don't know about here.

Loathe Rules and Guidelines: Oh yeah; basically an agent of chaos (which is weird, since I run a forum).

Second-Guess Themselves: Sometimes. Maybe. Yeah, I guess.

Strengths
Great Analysts and Abstract Thinkers: I suppose it's kind of accurate...

Imaginative and Original: Yeah. Maybe. I don't know how original I can be, though.

Open-Minded: True.

Enthusiastic: Eh. Sometimes. When I'm stoked about something.

Objective: Most of the time. I can usually admit to myself when I'm not being objective, so would that then count as being objective?

Honest and Straightforward: Essentially. I rarely, if ever, tell a lie. Don't know how honest I am, though.

Septagon / Re: Regarding Kiyo
« on: December 11, 2014, 12:24:21 AM »
Uhhh, what did I just walk into...? I try to stay away from drama, have a rep to uphold.
Best you keep your distance from this mess then.
This is as bottom of the barrel as it gets for drama 'round these parts.
This is light weight. I've seen plenty worse on other boards.

Sep7agon is lucky.
I'm calling it bottom of the barrel because Elegiac is pulling shit out of his ass and trying to make problems where there isn't any. And for old shit, at that.

That whole "I'm the cause of all the problems even though I'm really not and I'm super proud of it!" sorta BS.
You're a bad egg because before you got kicked to the curb and now have to sleep on a couch you were a cocky asshole who dribbled more derisive shit at me than a prolapsed sphincter. I'm not the problem here, I'm the solution. You're the problem. Or at least you were, before your overweening ego took a dive. I thought that kiyo's had too for a bit, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
That's a bit harsh. Can't we all just get along?

The Flood / Re: who is your favorite standup comedian
« on: December 11, 2014, 12:16:25 AM »
George Carlin. I like just about everything of his, but particularly the stuff he did around his death. The early stand up, while still funny, is obviously dated and less sharp than his newer stuff.

It's Bad for 'ya and You are all Diseased are probably my favorites.
i liked its bad for ya a lot. carlin had a really unique attitude that made him seem more human than many other standups
A few months ago I watched a bunch of his TV appearances, interviews, and the like. That stuff is pretty interesting (and funny) as well.

Have you ever read bad fanfiction and the writer decided to put an entire song, in lyric form, into the text? As if you're supposed to sing it in your head awkwardly while you're reading?

That's gross.

Users feel the need to cause petty drama, when there are better resources for their problems regarding the site.

Hard to do when given an unjust ban without being watched first and also given a ban from messaging, and when the ban expires days after it is stated.

Not all moderation goes strictly from "Verbal Warning, Watched, Watched, Ban".

As the rules state (And did in the last iteration), every moderation action can be different, and previous moderation actions can have an effect.

Still completely dumb to ban private messages. Just begging for abuse.

I'll bring it up to Cheat.

Edit: It turns out, the period in which you are referring to regarding being unable to PM, you were blacklisted - this prevents you from doing so. In the event of a lite-ban, you should be able to.

It was before I was blacklisted, after I kept reporting spam posts since I couldn't message, but when I was blacklisted I couldn't even view the forum until I used Google Incognito.
It was fixed a couple weeks ago. I've tested it using dummy accounts and it's working as expected. Lite-bans allow PMs and Blacklists do not.

Thanks, Camnator, for bringing it up. You were a big part of fixing the glitch. ;)

I have no idea. You should write an angry letter about this or something. Seems unjust to me, letting a swell fellow like yourself go without a mod promotion.

The admin should be ashamed (who is probably a minority who steals things like nameplates).

It was via PM, but Harlow screen capped DeeJs reaction and posted it in Sapphire.
How long ago was this? I've been digging through that group's forum and I can't find it...

We should seriously consider making Deci an admin.
I was tossing around the idea of actually giving him his own forum on my server before he exploded, but I don't see much point doing that now.

You need to be more active before you get Legendary.
Every day isn't classed as active?
You have 8-9 days logged online so far. You'll need more to get Legendary.

Serious / Re: If Immortality was made Possible, Would You Support it?
« on: December 10, 2014, 04:23:21 PM »
I'd patent it and sell it for profit. Something valuable as immortality would be worth a good $100,000 at the least
This is the kind of shit that holds us back as a species. We want money more than anything else.

I'd sell it for $500 per person so practically everyone can get it if they save for a short amount of time. I would also require that the person get spayed/neutered/whatever so they can't have children.

3558
I remember when DeeJ tried to win Harlow over with Destiny beta codes after he sent a long and scathing criticism to DeeJ about how terrible he was at his job.
I would love to read this long and scathing criticism. Is it public?

It did it to me too, and now the flood page is messed up for me for some reason  :-\
Are you on mobile?
Yeah, all the other board topics are formatted to the screen, but the flood page is like, really zoomed in.
It's actually the topic title doing it...

I'll fix it.
Alright, thanks.
Still doing it?

The Flood / Re: Would you donate to Wikipedia?
« on: December 10, 2014, 12:02:34 AM »
I wish they would just put a small ad up.

It wouldn't even have to be at the top or be flashy at all. And it wouldn't matter that it would get blocked by a lot of popup blockers since the site is so incredibly popular. A single ad would keep them from having to beg for money every year.

I'd prefer an ad over that obnoxious banner, anyway.

Yeah wait until you find out you can't enlarge your penis with this one simple trick
Well that's the thing... It's Wikipedia! They don't need to do the CPM bullshit us smalltime site owners have to do. They can just put up a direct advertisement from some big brand (with the understanding that it wouldn't affect articles made about them, of course, for fairness) and have it completely made.

You can use the argument that it's Wikipedia to argue that they would never place ads there in the first place
Yeah, I understand that the Wikimedia Foundation would never put ads up. I just think it's a bit ridiculous, considering the size of the donation banner that pops up from time to time (I mean seriously, does that thing get bigger every year?).

I actually still play YuGiOh whenever I can get my brother to participate, and I suppose this is one of my go-to cards when I'm trying to stall (and I keep 3 in my deck).
