Nah. The nameplate is already keyed to the Anarchy board and to change it (or the banner and avatar for anonymous) I'd have to edit files. And Isara is doing stuff with the theme to set up Sep7agon 2.0, so I don't want to change anything until that's finished.
I just figured you'd have something New Year's themed, but oh well.

Revealing anonymous posters? Isn't that kind of... you know, an egregious abuse of power? Assuming that actually happened.
There were still holes in the Anonymous posting at that time and I wasn't exactly clear on the whole "don't tell people who the anons are" thing with the mods. Some of that was my fault and yeah, a lot of it was on Kiyo.
In the end I didn't think it was bad enough to be taken off the moderation team completely, especially since she's actually a pretty good moderator.
Noelle had nothing to do with that decision, did she?

Anarchy Weekend will be starting a little early this time around, at about 8:00 PM CST on December 31. The event will last through the weekend and end at 12:00 AM CST on January 5, 2015 (which means you get an extra day of chaos).
All previous rules apply (nothing illegal and nothing that falls into a legal grey area like loli porn).
A few minutes after this posting, I'll be opening up the Beyond the Sea nameplate to everyone. Be sure to grab it today or tomorrow, because it goes back to request-only once Anarchy starts. You need the nameplate in order to access the Anarchy board.

Download Tapatalk and find Sep7agon on there. Other than that, you'll have to wait for the site update before I start work on a mobile-first site for phones. But there won't be a dedicated mobile app ever, I don't think.

Speaking of Monitors (Kind of) - if you have suggestions as to what you'd like to see the Monitor's role become, feel free to post them as well.
Can the monitors actually, ya know, do something? I mean, how they are now they're close to useless. Because how they are now, nobody has to respect them.
I have plans for the role once we get more people in here and open up private groups. For now, they're stuck locking, merging, splitting, moving and pinning threads, as well as approving new members' posts and reporting unsavory behavior to the Ninjas.

It shouldn't be a monitor's or moderator's job to lock threads on request. It should be their job to lock threads when things get out of hand. That's it.
The OP of the thread ought to have some discretion to that end.
Banning people for using a tool I gave them? No. You don't suddenly own a thread when you make it; it's not yours, it belongs to the community once it's out. That's the point of a forum. Giving everyone locking power over their own threads would cause aggravation if the OP gets upset and locks the thread. And I'm not talking about people spamming locked threads here. I'm saying that in one of the very popular hot topics, the OP could essentially shut down discussion at any point in time, regardless of if they're contributing or not. Not going to happen, sorry. EDIT: and I'm not sure I phrased that properly so I'll rephrase it. I'm saying that by giving everyone locking abilities, it's implied that the OP can lock threads at their discretion as long as they're not obnoxious about it (as with spamming the report button to flood the system). And so I couldn't ban them for being a shit and locking a popular thread, because I would have given them the ability and license to do so.
