The Flood / Re: 10 ÷ 2 (10 - 5)
« on: December 31, 2014, 12:09:01 AM »
I understand what you're doing, but if you plug that in (and substitute a forward slash in for the division symbol) to a PHP equation, you'll always get 25. If you put it into a calculator, you get 25.
10 ÷ 2 (10 - 5) = ×
10 ÷ 2 = × / (10 - 5)
10 ÷ 2 (×) = 10 - 5
5× = 5
× = 1
Code: [Select]
$x = 10/2*(10-5);
if ($x == 25) echo 'You\'re a twat.';

You're a twat.

EDIT: See my code in action.

I completely bought everything that was sort of...presented by the news and general word of mouth for several years. But then I learned about the building 7 collapse and...it's really fishy.

I'm not completely sure what happened and I'm not one of those completely paranoid conspiracy theorists, but it's clear to me that a lot of information about that day was covered up or is just plain stupidly wrong.

Once I'm on my computer I'd love to explain why Tower 7's collapse made sense, but the long and short of it is that dropping a huge chunk of a building from hundreds of feet up onto another building is not conducive to its structural integrity, and burning jet fuel can and will drastically weaken steel.
I kinda wanted to see this.

Surely Turkey will deliver...

Septagon / Re: God damn it tapatalk (cheat too I guess)

Also I know cheat said a mobile version basically isn't happening so I am boned.
I said an app isn't happening, as in a downloadable piece of software. I have plans for a mobile-first theme for the site that runs in the browser (and it'll be up sometime in the near future, after Isara delivers the upgraded Sep7agon 2.0).

On topic: try uninstalling and then reinstalling. I know tapatalk is fickle when it comes to displaying special boards like Anarchy, so I don't doubt it's something equally dumb on that app's part that is preventing you from seeing the forum list.

Holy shit this update. Took a nice glance at the reviews while redownloading, the app is fucked. Is there something else I can use that you know of. (I'm on a tablet right now but I can't use this at work/school/travel so now I'm restricted to home use only if there isn't an alternative :(. )
Umm...not that I know of. The mobile site and TapaTalk are really the only options (and I have absolutely no control over TapaTalk).

Hopefully they fix their shit soon, though (but this is why you shouldn't just automatically download an app update, yo).

I kind of have the same view, but not nearly as extreme as you do. Most of the time I even think about this sort of stuff is when I see the images of Africans with those shrunken, skeletal bodies (you know the ones I'm talking about) and then you see the kids with ribs showing and skin stretched across their bones.

And I think to myself: "Why the fuck would you want to add an extra burden on you and the environment by having a kid in this god-forsaken place?"

And also people living in trailer parks and ghetto areas. They should probably think about themselves before bringing a kid into the world.

The Flood / Re: #modbias
« on: December 30, 2014, 04:59:24 PM »
as if one user receives an infraction from a moderator over something that other users didn't. That kind of stuff is horseshit and should be called out.
The only time I really see this happen is when one user (Member A) has a long record of being an asshole and having no respect for the rules, while the other (Member B) has few, if any, warnings or lite-bans.

In that situation, Member A is somewhat more likely to get a harsher punishment because that's just fucking fair. But I wouldn't call it mod bias.

In my eyes, if you have a dick you're a man.

I will call you a man. Not to piss you off or anything petty like that. Its because you LITERALLY ARE a man.
What do you do with intersex people? What category do they go in?

I never got the mass PM, or a notification for it until I checked my inbox a few minutes ago. This happens rarely, but yea, fix your shit, Cheat.

Things that may help in seeing this:
I use tapatalk a lot.
I can't help with tapatalk, but you should get a red "1" in brackets next to the PM up there at the top when you have a new one.

Not sure how you're missing that.
It never showed up for me. At all, and I do spend my time here often on PC.
Never got this?

Why do the Fallen in Destiny have four arms?

Spoiler
To hear the rest of this joke, please purchase the Six Limbs from Hell expansion for the low price of $20.

Do the Original Trilogy first, then the Prequels.

That's how most of us watched them, and we turned out fine.
Spoiler
I'd hate to see what would happen if you reversed the order.......
Yeah, pretty much this. There are lots of subtle hits and allusions to the original trilogy in the new trilogy that you'll miss if you haven't seen 4, 5, and 6 first.

I have a Colosseum Bonus Disk Jirachi (lvl 5) and a Faraway Island Mew (lvl 30), both cloned and untouched, if someone would like to make an offer.

I'm looking for Legendaries, primarily, and I obviously don't have a problem with clones.
I'd be willing to trade you a celebi or Dianci for either one. What legendarys are you looking for?
I'll take the Dianci if you still want one of them (I don't care which).

I honestly don't think anyone here is truly transphobic. That stuff goes on solely, I think, to get a rise out of the person that it's directed at.
That's my take on it as well.

It's like calling someone fat or autistic; you're trying to get a rise out of them.

Septagon / Re: Unique Users
« on: December 29, 2014, 08:17:18 PM »
How many Unique Users do we have?

I have noticed that we have a max of 147 users ever online, so i feel like that is the number of unique users that exist on here and are active but is there a more accurate number?
5,802 unique visitors in the last 30 days (which counts anyone who stumbles in here accidentally, as well as the regulars).

I don't know about the 147 for unique members, though, as it also takes the guests into account. I'd say we have a good 120 members who visit at least twice a week.

Quote
You are 50% Evil.
You are 33.3% Chaotic.
Alignment: Chaotic Evil

You are compelled by greed, hatred, jealousy, and a lust for destruction. You are hot-tempered, vicious, arbitrarily violent, and often unpredictable. You are out for whatever you can get and have no qualms about doing so in a ruthless and brutal manner. However, your plans are haphazard. Any alliances you make or groups you form are fragile and poorly organized. Some people would describe you as “Demonic.”
You are the stereotypical“Destroyer.” You believe in the destruction of not only beauty and life, but also the order and organization on which they stand.
Examples of charactersand people who fit into the same alignment as you include Jack the Ripper, Saddam Hussein, Blackbeard the Pirate, Cruella DeVille, Baron Vladimir Harkonnen, Khan Noonian Singh, Dr. Evil, Professor Moriarty, and Lord Voldemort.

Really, I'm the only person to have gotten evil?

You people are either all excessively boring or compulsive liars.
I got evil (it just wasn't enough to get me out of neutral). 11% or something, while everyone else is somewhere on the good scale. 8)

EDIT: looking at mine again, it's like I'm a more watered down version of you.

The Flood / Re: Are those all in one PC's worth getting?
« on: December 29, 2014, 04:49:43 PM »
For my dad I'm thinking about getting him one for his birthday/Christmas present. He doesn't care for laptops and due to space the monitor also being the PC would work since he's use to desktops. So I was wondering if those things are worth it? I know with it only having 4GBram and whatnot he's not going to be gaming much. But he's just going to use it like a normal everyday PC. So then are these things worth it? I figured for a cooling system he can simply have a fan blowing out it.
My brother had one and it overheated pretty quickly just from normal use (about a year or two into owning it). They might be better now, as this was a few years ago when the all-in-ones were kinda new, so maybe you'll be alright. :-\

This is a stone cold fact. Whoever designed it should be fired.

Windows 10 please don't be shit.
Whenever I'm at home and I want to check my messages or change settings, I reach for the home button again because it doesn't feel like a main menu to me. Getting to places is a chore, unlike on the 360.
