On the dropdown Search bar, the option "Search Members" doesn't respond to my clicking easily. I have to try it several times to actually get it to take me to the "search Members" page.
Good catch, it seems I have that problem too.
I'm also seeing this.

Mobile site pages are really slow to load now. Also, the top bar display moves halfway into the page.
Safari, iPod touch 4th gen, IOS 6.1.4
Yeah, mobile is fucked for now, until I or Isara can get around to fixing it. Anyway, could you post a screenshot? It helps us figure out proportions and stuff.

i feel like this was a bit of a knee-jerk reaction.
Eh, not really. There were a few times while I was a mod when I said "This isn't what I want to do" - Tonight, I kinda just said that I'm done. This forum is a lot more fun as a regular member, or actual liked staff member.
If you're on the staff and even remotely disliked, you're going to just be in hell on the forums.
I can understand that.
Whelp, that's the truth.
Well it's a huge responsibility, so I don't blame you.
Yeah because editing posts, locking threads, and negotiating agreements between folks on a forum is such a huge burdening responsibility.
It takes up your time, and occasionally it's a chore to do.

That Isara's update has reversed the positions of half the buttons. I'm surprised that quotes aren't upside down by default now.
I brought that up in the suggestions thread. If I have my way, then they'll be switched back.

This is so confusing...

I was hoping to see the index and profile page revamps that were talked about.
I need to draw up a template first, then I can get to work. Don't worry, it'll happen.

That all sounds great! However, I still need the substance for the channel.
Unfortunately I'm not so good with video, but I'll try to make an effort to submit some written reviews or something once work on the site dies down. And I do have plans to put in a spot specifically for your youtube channel on the front page, assuming we don't run out of space...

Using the website on mobile via Android standard internet (Chrome).
-The background is too dark, in my opinion -The profile avatar that should be at the top of the screen loads under the Septagon logo at first, then jumps to the correct position after a brief pause
My biggest issue that I think would be super easy to fix:
Move the 'updated topics' shortcut under the tab with the other forum names. It's always been inconvenient on mobile; on V1 I had to briefly tap and hold on username, then quickly select it from the dropdown menu before my profile page loaded.
I second that for moving updated topics on mobile. Should be an easy fix. I already have a semi-solution for the cramped area on mobile, but I just have to figure out how to tip-tow around Isara's code...

so now that Sep7 2.0 is out will is be updated soon-ish?
Yeah, there's a slew of threads in HQ and we're talking about them off and on (actually I don't think I've commented at all yet). We'll let everyone know about them and comment on them in the near future.

I dunno if it's been said, or if it's just be, but scrolling down the pages lag when I go over the ad section. I figure it's the ad because it doesn't happen in Anarchy, but other than that, I'm not really sure.
It's not lag and it's not a new issue. The ads run in an iframe, which keeps them from being evil little shits and hijacking your browser. As a result, scrolling while your cursor is inside the box will scroll the iframe instead of the window.
It's been like this for over a month.
Hm, I've never had that issue. But even if I click on the side bar or use my keyboard arrows, the whole page struggles to scrol down until it's completely off the screen. Like, it doesn't just pause as I scroll down, it stutters repeatedly.
What kind of graphics card do you have? And does this occur on all browsers?
Whoa, okay. The kind of graphics card that people have is going to effect how things load now?
Nah, I don't think so, unless he's got like a 90's era computer or something (which is what I was getting at). Isara did most, if not all, of the graphics work for this update, so I'll let her come in and take care of your problem. Just to be sure, though, was this happening on the old theme?

You guys need to stop calling it a "lite-ban", too. Looks like "life-ban".
I actually said the same thing...

The notification system will likely change. I already suggested some improvements to Isara about it.

I thought we were gonna get a revamped index page and profile pages?
Also, a suggestion. There should be links at the bottom to get back to the board/index. So in other words the... Sep7agon > Forum List > Septagon > Report Sep7agon V2 Bugs or Issues here ...should be at the bottom of the page too.
I already commented on this in the other thread, but I do plan on changing the front page around to my liking. This will probably involve scrapping the forum list and moving it to its own page (like bungie has, when you click "forums").

I have a few ideas for the front page, yeah. Those will come later.

A mere post cannot contain what I have to say, so I am making a thread instead to talk about improving the site (mostly on mobile). Important SuggestionsConserve space on mobile by replacing the logo with the Sep7agon symbol, like we had before. Isara: Done by 2.2.0a update.
Move search bar and options to dropdown on mobile, and make it take up the whole screen for easy use and visibility. Isara: Search button will be moved in menu drop down, and the PM message will stay there. Possible release will be with version 2.2.0b.Elevate the nav bar's z-index so that the "who liked this post" shade doesn't cover it, preventing escaping from the window on mobile. Isara: Cheat did this himself, but the truth is that z-index will not work on some cases and browsers, but it's better than nothing.- Redesign the notification button and placement (see details below)
Regarding Notifications The current setup doesn't work on mobile very well. Small screen sizes and the tiny button makes it odd to use, so here's what I suggest:
Move notifications to its own icon, like it was on the old site design, and place it before the PM icon. This prevents accidental presses of the avatar dropdown and makes it simpler to keep track of new quotes and alerts.
Personal Preference Suggestions- Move the "new topic" button row back to the right. It's weird being where it is; I can't believe I didn't catch this until now.
- Add a [close window] button under the like window so that people on mobile don't rage.
- On desktop, position the search bar more to the left and double its width.
I'm sure more will follow when I think of them...

They said it won't be drastic, so I'm reasonably looking forward to it.
Thread view is unchanged, so you shouldn't have an issue with it. It's all good.

Byrne's right. In Anarchy, anything goes (well, mostly anything). I can no sooner ban people for calling him fat than I can you for your anonymous posts regarding a few of the members here.
It's all in good fun. If it spills out onto the main forums, though, then that's when the Ninjas get to nuke people.
