Say what you want about Chris Kyle himself, but that was an extremely well-made film. Great acting, great cinematography, and great directing. There were a lot of foreshadowing and metaphors, too. Bradley Cooper was amazing.
What were your thoughts on the movie?
Spoiler This is a discussion about the MOVIE, not about the actual events. Take it to Serious if you want to talk about that. The movie was boring. The first few times you see someone get blown away, sure, it keeps you interested, but after a long while of it it's exhausting. The plot was barely there, too, besides "fight the bad guys." Yeah, there's a specific enemy in the film, but even when Chris defeats him, it's anti-climatic. The transitions were rough, too, and it felt like there were huge chunks missing out of the story as it progressed. Not to mention that the main character is practically one of those...Mary Sue characters, I guess. Boringly perfect and unwavering. There are a few forced "morality" problems that he's forced to jump over, but he just came off as stale and uninteresting. People calling him "Legend" was just cheesy, too. I mean, goddamn... I gave it a C-, but it was bordering on a D+ at times.

When you post it, ^— junk code appears. And you can't get rid of it.
It's only visible, though, if you put the table in a spoiler tag, in which case, the junk will always shift to the bottom of the post, where it will become visible and rear their ugly heads. I can easily just move it back into the spoiler tag, and that'll solve the problem, but it's still extra junk code that ought not to be there.

EDIT: Also, I was under the impression you wanted to set up a sort of "gym leader" type deal on here where others could challenge the mono-type teams. Are you okay with giving the titlebar prefix "Elite" to those who make the Elite Four?
Further tournaments could involve beating the entire Elite Four, attaining the "Champion" or "Pokémon Master" titlebar if successful... or something like that. And from then on, whoever goes through the same process and dethrones the previous Champion becomes the new Champion.
I just figure that there ought to be some prize.
