How do we know the mods didn't just restart the poll to achieve the outcome they wanted?
Then it shouldn't be that difficult to vote again for what you wanted.
There could very well be a different turnout for this poll.
Then it would most likely be attributed to misunderstanding of the first-poll's options, since I've made the announcement up at the top golden to stand out more than the previous one's link. Which is a good thing for the forum.

Man both offshoot projects both halo archive and sep7agon. I love both but made sep7agon my home. Must say i hope them good luck but i hope we can create ties with them.
Also funny how both our forums are growing and getting bigger.
I hope the update for groups come soon so that it is prepared tested before we have a population to expand.
All we need to do though is grow.
There was thing for a while about Sep7 and Archive becoming affiliates, but it fell through. I'm planning on brining it back up to the Bias team once the renovations to the site are done.
That would be super-cool, actually.

Post a screenshot and what platform you're using, there's nothing wrong for me.
I'm using Chome btw. My OS is Windows 8.1 This happened just today.
Isara's JavaScript and JQuery stuff fucks up with Chrome for some reason. No idea why, yet, but she does know about it.

Did you see the thread?
You were supposed to request a new nameplate.

For FUCK'S sake.
Unnecessary complication, is what it is.
Reading is hard.

Yeaaaaaah...

What's up with notifications/alerts?
The button is extremely tiny and it was better how we had it before.
I agree that it should be edited a bit and moved over to the row of other icons.

fffff
Alright, here's what I'll do: I will add an "Anarchy Avatar" option to your look and layout preferences so you can link an avatar that might not be suitable for the mains.
BUT!
It won't actually work at the start, and maybe not until tomorrow night (or Sunday; it depends on how lazy I am).
...This sucks.
You'll be able to disable Anarchy avatars.
Okay good. Hey Cheat do you know anything about computer hardware? I need some advice.
Aye. But either ask on Skype or PM me so we don't derail this.

ummm............Cheat?
You serious man?
I had been thinking along similar lines for anarchy-specific nameplates, since custom nameplates show up in he mains too. Avatars are a bit more extreme, but...it is Anarchy! I mean, yeah, some guys are probably going to put a helicopter dick as their avatar, but they could just as easily post it as an image in every post they make.

Present in a serious way with credible sources then.
Yet the majority of threads on the Serious board don't have links to sources and they don't get locked.
Essentially what you're saying is that if we disagree with the mods we have to cite our sources in the OP, but if we do agree with you we don't have to?
Not at all.

Yeah, it's that time of the month again, everybody. You know the drill. Anarchy will be open Friday, January 30 through Sunday, February 1, ending at the stroke of midnight CST, on Monday.
The following stuff is banned from Anarchy:
1. Illegal stuff. 2. Semi-illegal stuff (loli porn) 3. Releasing personal info about other users. 4. Stretching the forum body by creating an obnoxiously-long thread title.
Breaking the above rules will get you kicked out of Anarchy. If you do something illegal, I'll also report you to the authorities, so don't be stupid.
You can get in on the fun by grabbing the Please Stand By nameplate, which is this month's invitation. It will remain free-to-all until a few hours into Anarchy, at which time I'll switch it over to request-only.
kthxbai
Does this mean the Beyond the sea nameplate is no more?
Yup.

"BUT WE'RE NOT BIASED I SWEAR"
"WE EVEN MADE THE MOD-BIAS MEME TO GET PEOPLE TO STOP CALLING US OUT ON OUR ABUSE OF POWER"
You have no legit reason to ban the discussion of transexuals just because we don't have the same opinion as you.
"OH NO HE HAS A DIFFERENT OPINION, HE MUST BE BAITING"
"MY FEELINGS ARE SO HURT ALL I CAN DO IS CRY WHINE AND DO ALL I CAN TO GET YOU TO STOP SHARING OPINIONS I DON'T AGREE WITH"
You do know that complaints about the forum or staff go in Septagon, don't you? Well, I guess you do now...

I get the first three but why number 4?
Because it's fucking annoying when it happens, so I want an official reason to kick people out when they do it.

Um...why was this locked? I don't think OP ever got an answer.
RC, I don't know if this is just a design oversight or something by design. It's minor, sure, but I'll unlock it until you can get an answer (but she's right; you can be kind of rude, dude).

What's up with notifications/alerts?
Usually the same issue. The work around I have found is to just hold down until the page stutters/doesn't force animation and then I can get to the stuff.
Eh? The notification "circle" at the corner of your avatar isn't a link. It shouldn't take you anywhere... Where is it sending you?

What in the world did you do to get it like that? Hard refresh?
What did you do right before it started doing that? Do you have anything disabled? Any plugins that could be affecting the site?

"Alerts" and "Notifications" in your profile area might be a good place to start.
Hard refresh. Do you have anything (like JavaScript) disabled? Does this happen on other browsers? I have changed settings in "Notifications" but I don't see the alerts tab.
I have Mozilla Firefox with Noscript running but I have fully enabled this website, the strange thing is this all started when I got the "author" nameplate.
Thanks for the quick response guys.
Notifications are disabled for everyone. What you want are alerts. What do you see when you go here: http://sep7agon.net/index.php?action=profile;area=alerts;sa=allalertsI've flipped on some redundant (I thought) permissions, since you mentioned it started happening after you got the "Author" nameplate. Did that help?

To put it simply I am not getting the exclamation point for notifications below my avatar anymore, what settings do I need to mess with to get it back?

Time zone?
Central. That's my timezone and that's the default one as well. If I don't specify, just assume it's always Central Time. ...but I'll add it because nobody ever remembers that.

Cheat should teach everyone here some computer programming... <_<
My only real specialty as far as that goes is JavaScript in Unity, in other words... game code. Not site code.
Yeah...Javascript is actually used pretty regularly in web programming. Isara loves that stuff, apparently. Are you absolutely positive you're not talking about Java?
