The Flood / Re: This virus is literally a non issue to me« on: March 20, 2020, 05:48:05 PM »Lol I wish. Too many job-tasks to do.I'm thankfully working from home for the next week or two or however long, as long as my employer is okay with it. The thing that sucks is that it fucking wrecks older people and people with weak immune systems AND it has a week-or-more-long period where you don't always have symptoms.Look from a good side of things: you now have more time to implement sep7agon 3.0 with print button and blackjack. I did start 3.0 though, a few weeks ago, to teach myself progressive web apps and all that jazz. Basically I just have the datastructure figured out for board view, but hey, it's a start! 248

I definitely don't want to get it and then pass it without knowing to my grandparents or mom, who are all immune-compromised. 249

He’s a joke. That said, if the Democrat front runner happens to be Bloomberg or Biden, I’ll be spite voting for Trump.
My hope of hopes is that Sanders gets the office. 252

Tbh I’ve been having a blast playing a ROM hack called Renegade Platinum that is like a way harder version of platinum with all Pokémon in it and the Fairy typing. As soon as GF puts in all the Pokémon, I’ll buy the new game. I still can’t believe they were too lazy or greedy to just add in all the mons.

Oh, also hopefully Apple releases an ARM based MacBook this year. I have missed MacOS more than I thought I would, but don’t want a heavy MBP.

I was in Thailand during Chinese New Year and like everyone was wearing those mouth masks. It was even worse at the airport. Crazy shit. We were both worried the airport would shut down and we would be stranded in Bangkok, but thankfully it didn’t happen.
My mom and I both got a smoker’s cough while we were there from all the smog and pollution, and whenever we coughed our airplane seat mate would pull her mask up higher. 257

The Flood / Re: PSA: New Microsoft Edge is out« on: January 28, 2020, 01:25:17 PM »I've been using the Dev build of this for almost a year now on my Win7 machine. Best browser.Yah, I’ve been using the beta build for the last couple months. It is definitely going to make browser testing super smooth in a couple years, once we no longer support the old shitty Edge. The only annoyance is that it defaults to Bing, but it is easy to swap, thankfully. 261

Microsoft finally gave up and now Edge uses Chromium (but without Google spyware). Chrome plugins still work and it feels like Chrome, but it's not. If you hate Firefox and also hate Google, this might be the way.

I kept my word that I would never buy it and I never did.It is good. You have nothing to lose but time if you want to try it. I’ll probably be logging some serious hours on it once I get back to the states at the end of January. Gambit is super addicting. 265
