I can't really define harassment just clear cut like that. It'd have to be on a case by case basis. If there's someone who refuses to use proper pronouns for people do we ban them? No I don't think so. Now if they're going around and derailing every thread following people then yeah that's worthy of warning or higher.
The problem is that when we moderate harassment like this, on a case by case basis, it can be seen as "giving special treatment" or even "singling someone out." This is the whole problem that I have wih non-malicious insults: it allows the jerks to hide behind that "non-harassing" insult clause in the rules. It tends to make moderation a political minefield sometimes.

Cheat, isn't your bandwidth only used for images hosted on this site? It's an imgur link, so I was under the impression every time it's seen here it's using Imgur's bandwidth.
External images don't cost us bandwidth, but it's still kind of shitty to have a huge avatar, as it will take that much longer to render on a page.

With a historical rate of return of 10.4%, and I assume that after taxes I only had about $400,000 left, if I retire at 60 I'd take out about $20 million. This is one of the small things I'd like to change, although a lot of the stuff that needs changing is in the nav bar (especially on mobile).
To be honest, we need a dedicated mobile site rather than a cut-down version of the pc site. The mobile version really doesn't run well, and crashes a lot on my ipod.
Ja, mobile devices are sometimes not powerful enough to run the site as it is (depending on what kind of phone you have). A mobile theme is on the to-do list.

I checked my inbox and read your message and Psy's (which came through like 30 seconds before I read it) and now the icon is fine. Maybe Psy sent it a while ago, and it took some time to show up in my inbox?
Ehh, that is actually very possible. SMF caches a lot of data so that the traffic doesn't murder the database. For instance: it will keep the "There are x posts that need approval" message up 2-3 minutes after the queue is empty, since it doesn't check on every page refresh. If it happens again, let me know.
