I always find myself invigorated and super productive when the deadline for something approaches, so procrastination is the preferred way to go for me.

I keep getting a Database Error whenever I try to Upvote somebody's account. It's only been happening the last couple of days, too. Anybody else have this problem?
Screenshot me. Never mind. I see it. EDIT: Fixed. It was an issue with a ill-designed karma-logging mod that I have just uninstalled. Stuff should work now.

I've noticed that too. There's been a dip in post activity, although population size has been pretty good. And yeah, people love to post memes and joke around; It's starting to annoy me too, but I'm not sure a whole lot can be changed without upsetting a lot of people. There's always Serious for discussing topics without memes...

What kind of discussion do you like most?
I actually enjoy debates, but haven't done any here since I have to keep up this admin facade. But just regular discussion is good too; memes and play insults have their time, but after a few dozen times, they get annoying.
How authoritative do you feel you must be, and is it relational to post quality overall? I could imagine you both debating and administering.
Why don't you think other people indulge in regular and serious discussion as much?

I do sort of have to distance myself a bit in order to protect myself from some of the bias (although I'm sure it gets in anyway). I think people don't indulge in regular serious discussion because they don't want to be wrong or look stupid.

Nope.
Although I can sort of feel the unease in some of my friends when I make jokes about religion, something which I feel guilty about.
That's sort of my test to see if someone is able to be my friend. If I can mock their beliefs and they don't get bent out of shape, they're cool by me.
