Speaking of Galo I did a round of customs in LolReach for a summer event.
I McMurdered the enemy team as I played the part of token banshee whore. Reminded me of the time I plowed you guys on Standoff.
You somehow managed to get both the banshee and the host in a 8+ player game using your Canadian Internet. How could anyone ever forget what you did to us that night?

I still managed to beat him in the warm up even though he was streaming at 1080p while being the host.

Sold my copy some months ago. I do know CIS Scum still plays it and actually enjoys the grind.

Harrison Ford's face looks like they photoshopped it onto Han's body...lol
I was going to post this too. They need to hire someone else to do the shooping.

I looked at some of Ryle's posts yesterday and saw the blacklisted bar. I thought he was perma'd and I was pretty confused. He's fine though, thankfully.
Did you see yourself as blacklisted?
He probably used the nameplate with Impostor.

I'd rather they just port Halo 3 and actually make it work correctly.

yeah but how fucking desperate would you have to be to do that
i remember when gaming was literally just
- press the power button - play
fuck this generation
Hacks. Modded games. I've played several of them that were patched versions of Fire Red and they were crazy awesome. A lot of them offer increased difficulty, which makes the campaign an actual challenge; most of them include a different region and sometimes new Pokemon.

Or you can emulate anything pre-DS and just buy yourself a 3DS.
Emulate anything that came out before Diamond and Pearl (FireRed/LeafGreen/Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald).
What is an emulator and what does it do?
It's a downloadable program for your PC that allows you to emulate a game's ROM for free.
It's stealing. As in, illegal. As in, bad.
Don't do it if you have any self-respect.
It's not illegal to play a ROM of a game you own, IIRC. That's the reason that site for ROM downloads wasn't immediately nuked.
Yeah pretty much, since you can theoretically make your own ROM without much of an issue playing a ROM of a game you already own is fine.
I used to play pokemon emulators when I'd lost the cartridges, I could have easily downloaded the ROMs for the most recent 3DS games at the time too, but I don't think that's right (nor is it legal) given that I didn't own them myself. Now that I do, I could but I'd rather play them on the 3DS anyway <.<
But yeah, emulators aren't inherently wrong at all. If you are using them to avoid paying for content, then yeah that's obviously bad.
Unfortunately, due to Nintendo policy, it's still a big fat no no.
From Nintendo's corporate information page:
Spoiler There is a good deal of misinformation on the Internet regarding the backup/archival copy exception. It is not a "second copy" rule and is often mistakenly cited for the proposition that if you have one lawful copy of a copyrighted work, you are entitled to have a second copy of the copyrighted work even if that second copy is an infringing copy. The backup/archival copy exception is a very narrow limitation relating to a copy being made by the rightful owner of an authentic game to ensure he or she has one in the event of damage or destruction of the authentic. Therefore, whether you have an authentic game or not, or whether you have possession of a Nintendo ROM for a limited amount of time, i.e. 24 hours, it is illegal to download and play a Nintendo ROM from the Internet. So no, it is still very much illegal to own and use Nintendo ROMs. Emulators themselves are a grey area, and you won't get in trouble for having them. But ROMs are clearly labeled within copyrighted domain.
Riiiiight. Ok. Well that's kind of lame, then. If you own the games and have a cartridge-to-PC cable, though, you're allowed to rip them as long as you don't have to get around a DRM (if I'm reading everything correctly).

I was the same way. Eye contact wasn't natural to me and felt uncomfortable for whatever reason, but I trained myself to just do it since it's apparently important.

and watch the 2005 version.
I daresay you're the first person in history to recommend the original FF over any other movie.
Yeah, it blows my mind too. Before Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, I would have said the same thing about the first Ghost Rider movie.

Nsider, the old Nintendo forums back at the start of the Ruby/Sapphire era. It was a lot nicer community than The Flood of old, but then again, these were Nintendo fanboys, so...
That was the first forum I participated on and I no-lifed the hell out of it posting as often as I could. That's actually the place my current handle comes from; shame they shut it down for a "tech support" forum. I'd probably still be there infrequently if it had continued.

Some friends and i were gonna watch it yesterday but ended up picking Man from Uncle.
I straight up tell people to just skip Fantastic 4% on Rotten Tomatoes and watch the 2005 version. It's really bad.
Maybe I'll watch it
You'd be better off burning your money; it'd be more entertaining to watch.

Driving is so fucked up.
I love systems where no one can even fucking agree what the rules are. That makes me like people so much.
I agree; I drive because I have to in order to get around, but I'd prefer not to. It would be awesome to have public transportation readily available at reasonable prices around here (like a cable car system or even a subway).

None.
Might go to...Louisiana? Missouri? Whichever one New Orleans is in, anyway, to meet a friend at some point.
Louisiana has New Orleans. MO isn't that cool.

We don't have the population for groups to work right without them killing the forums. Bnet has the population for groups to be active along with the forums as well. The only thing they would do is split up the population on a site that has hardly anybody to begin with. The other thing is that groups are going to be pointless until we get a population due to there being a decent amount of groups with hardly anybody posting in them. One group may have most of the population posting in it and for the others they are just there taking up space.
I feel like I've regurgitated the answer to this concern like 10 times. I'm not about to risk the forum for groups.
so what is your big solution to prevent groups killing the mains?
I...don't...let them kill the mains? Groups will be beta tested with established groups on Bnet that I can rope into testing. Those will be the only groups on here for a good while and they will be invite only while the bugs are squashed and I get feedback from group owners on what they need and what needs changed. Assuming these groups will share population spikes similar to Anarchy, I'm banking on getting some members from those groups to stick around in the mains. From there, groups will be opened to high-ranking members on an application/approval basis so I can control the population flow and cut them off if it dips in the mains. Later on, like...months on, they will be opened up to the public like you guys have been assuming I'd do from the start. Simplified version: I will pay attention and not let them kill the mains.

There's like only 10 people here dude. This entire site is THE group.
Multiply that by about 7 or 8. Not everyone is online all the time.
And when these people are online the site still feels dead and empty. There's been a few times where we had at least two dozen people online and hardly anybody was posting.
Thats really beyond my power. I can't force you guys to post.

So if they want to use humans for power, why is there cancer or war in the Matrix?
Wouldn't the machines want them to live longer?
Those are apparently part of the "imperfections" that the humans in the first matrix needed to believe it.
