#Bragging about it.
I really do though

Why? What's the point in bragging?
Why does it bother you if someone brags about it?
Well you are talking to a virgin...
I bet you this forum would never believe me when I lose my virginity eventually. And even if I wasn't one, it would still bother me because it's mildly annoying.
Why would you care if it's not a big deal?

Your cat facts for today.
Did you know that cats are able to drink seawater in order to survive?
Cats have sweat glands in their paws and use them to mark their territory.

Would you like to upgrade to llama facts for a one off payment of just $19.99?

Oh no I mean do you know a way I could text with a fake #
If you have a Google account, or even if you don't, sign up for Google Voice and you'll get a free anonymous cell phone number to text from.

Wut
Aesexual
good to see someone is fighting for Cheat's sexual equality

Oh shit man. That's actually pretty funny if you think about it. Is there even any sexual equality to defend with aesexuals?

Ha.
Until they start forcing people to have sex, not really. The only negative is people acting like it's not actually a thing, but it's not really a big deal in the grand scheme.

kinda old, bud.
but its still horse shit.
I only just found out today because you can preorder it digitally now.
digital a shit.
>sticking to physical media this gen

comet pls
You can't trade-in digital games doe
Truth. I would have been out $40 when I decided I couldn't stand Destiny anymore if it was a digital copy. I sold it months later and only lost a few bucks total.

Plus, you can't lose your collection of games if for some reason you lose access to your account (and this does happen).

Does he not learn or does he not care about the consequences of his action. His movie sucked.
The third Twilight movie I watched right after the Avatar movie was better than it, and that's hard to do.

Vien

Flee

JUST KIDDING LOL CHALLENGER PLZ

Flee and I are alright outside of Sep7agon, but once Sep7 is in the conversation it's going to be an argument. 100% sure of that.

Cheat I cannot trust. There is like 2 Cheats. A good Cheat and an asshole one. Asshole Cheat likes to throw me in Skype groups that I left and will spam me to "get in a call" Good Cheat usually has my best interest, but then Asshole Cheat comes back. So thanks to Asshole Cheat, I can't trust Cheat.

Nuka... Eh. We can't trust each other.

Vien, I never trusted him and still don't. Tblocks, he isn't really my ally. Nick, nope. Mr P? Neutral. Chally. He can't- do I even need to finish the sentence for him? It's super obvious.
I don't think you'd like me in real life, then. My online persona is a lot nicer than I am normally. But I am sorry I pissed you off in that Skype chat; I get carried away sometimes.

Septagon / Re: Why does sep7 keep opening the appstore for me?
« on: August 26, 2015, 09:57:09 AM »
It's malicious ads. Take a screenshot of the page you're redirected to and post it here or PM it to me the next time it happens.
It doesn't take me to a page, it just sends me straight to the appstore.

Also this only happens on my phone, not any other mobile device or my PC.
I know. I mean take a screenshot of the app it sends you to. Wherever you get redirected is where I need to see, so I can report it to the ad service.

This is a ruse, right?

No.
So.... we pick the guy who left for weeks then came back to only memepost and go "rood"?
Whilst that was considered, what outweighed that was Kupo being a part of the community for a long time prior to that (Bnet as well as septagon from the early days) Taking a break from the forums in the grand scheme of things isn't something that invalidates someone as a candidate (especially seeing as how a good chunk of the staff have died/vanished for longer than that at a time) <.<
Focnr never dies

He's just watching us all from behind that creepy clown painting.
Focnr's no longer on staff. I know the staff thread probably needs updating, but he's been gone for a while.

Septagon / Re: is this website ever going to get https
« on: August 25, 2015, 07:52:48 PM »
From what I read it's like 60 bucks a year. Where did you get your figure from?
They require a dedicated IP for SSL. Those combined add to the number I posted.
That's like $4.
...yes.

And when you math, those add up to that $107/year figure.
60+4=64
$3.99 x 12 months = $47.88 per year.

Basic SSL for 1 domain is $4.99 per month. x12 is $59.88 per year.

$59.88 + $47.88 = $107.76 per year.

pls stop

I prefer playing Halo 3 and Halo 4 on the 360 and don't have any plans to sell my old console.

Ran the numbers just now. It's an additional $107.76 per year for an SSL certificate (which we'd need if we go with https). Something to think about; I might end up opening up donations to cover that cost if it's something a lot of people want.
Where's the proof it's $107.76 per year?
Feel free to ask Bluehost how much it is per year.

this wouldn't be a problem if we could block individual avatars, tbh

what do you guys think of that
i'd be in goddamn full acceptance of that

everyone wins

That's just silly and you know it.

How? We already have a similar option with Anarchy
I'm not opposed to allowing them if they're hidden to guests by default and can be enabled
then just do that ffs

It requires a different script, and there are other priorities first.
i would call this a top priority
It's definitely not a top priority, mate. There are a handful of UI improvements and fixes that need to be addressed (for mobile mostly) first. I'm already running behind on groups. :-\
the approval and overall happiness of a sizable portion of your user base isn't important?
Fixing UI mishaps like the avatar button being hidden on mobile or the alert icon being too close to the avatar box up in the top nav is more important than allowing you to show/hide NSFW avatars currently, yes.

I'll ask the host. I don't recall the exact amount off hand.
if its $20 or less and you're being that much of a jew, seriously kill yourself.
I'd probably just ask for a donation and see what happens instead of killing myself.

Never got it working, unfortunately. This might be an option in the future, though, for avatars registered as NSFW. I'm not opposed to allowing them if they're hidden to guests by default and can be enabled, but blocking individual avatars probably isn't going to happen outside of custom CSS scripts.

That costs extra, so...

Not likely.

What about the sign in page? If that isn't secure, I'd image it would be easy for someone to hack your account no?
If you're not on a secure LAN, yeah, they could get your password.

You do realize it is possible to crack someone's router password right? Oh, and there is nothing stopping everyone from sending reset emails to users because you can just enter the username of the user, Lol.

I'll prove it to you right now by using you as an example. That kind of shit should be email only honestly.

Edit: You should get an email now requesting you to reset your password. See what I mean?
Uh, ok? The passwords are hashed and cannot be read or decrypted unless you used a really short word without numbers or special characters that has that particular hash indexed.

Really, if your password isn't stupidly simple, the only way you're going to run into trouble is if your connection is compromised (password-free wi-fi would be the most vulnerable).

Okay so say I was on password free WiFi, how would someone get my Sep7agon password?
The http request when you enter in your password. It's plain-text at that point, so a dickbag could be listening in and intercept the password field you submitted before it's hashed and then compared to the saved password hash.

Interesting. How do dickbags do that exactly? CMD? A hacktool?
You can look up the specifics yourself, but that is where the vulnerability lies. If you're on your phone and connecting via LTE or 4G and don't have your phone infected to hell with malware, you've got nothing to worry about.
