4. Stretching the forum body by creating an obnoxiously-long thread title
If I may ask, what great evil does this cause that it's disallowed in Anarchy? I've always wondered this.
>.>
It's obnoxious.

Can another nameplate be made
Yeah. It's just that it's hardcoded to be affiliated with Anarchy and it's annoying to change it. Most likely it'll be replaced with "Anarchist" or something so it's generic enough to work with all Anarchy Weekends.

Ayyy. Yeah, we're back for another round of Anarchy Weekend to kick off the fall and back-to-school season. We had planned this for last weekend, but a majority of the mods couldn't be here, so we're doing it on 9/11 instead. I'm sure it'll be great. For reference: Anarchy starts at midnight tonight and ends at midnight on Monday (CST). If you're new and haven't experienced Anarchy, drop in to your nameplate page and request the Beyond the Sea nameplate to gain access to the fun. Rules are as follows: 1. Illegal stuff. 2. Semi-illegal stuff (loli porn) 3. Releasing personal info about other users — This includes anything not publicly available nor posted on Sep7agon 4. Stretching the forum body by creating an obnoxiously-long thread title 5. Jet fuel can't melt steel beams. Anything else is fair game. Breaking the above rules will get you kicked out of Anarchy. If you do something illegal, I'll also report you to the authorities, so don't be stupid.
Also: I've added an "Anarchy Nameplate" field to your profiles. You can now set a nameplate specifically for Anarchy, and yeah, NSFW is allowed.

I'm pretty sure anything would fall apart if a few planes hit it.
Yeah, though this image does look like the workings of thermite What?
An airliner smashed into a building. It caused everything in its relative impact area to set on fire, melt, or incinerate, and that's a pretty broad "Similarity" for suspicion of some government organization carefully placing thermite in the structure of a who-knows-how-many floor skyscraper. Pretty sure, of all chemicals to assist in the destruction of the World Trader Center, thermite would not be a good pick. Your armchair forensics aren't exactly impressive.
I have first hand experience with thermite, and those red-hot spark things in that image above do kind of look like that kind of reaction... The stuff melts and destabilizes the shit out of metal.

You should calculate the odds of God being real.
I doubt he'd be able to do that if he isn't doing Bayesian probability.
Fortunately, I'm a layman.
Definitions:
1) X is any arbitrary event. (I was born in Germany.)
2) ¬X denotes "not X". (I was not born in Germany.)
3) E represents the existence of positive evidence that indicate X is correct. (My birth certificate is from Germany.)
4) ¬E denotes "not E", or the total absence of positive evidence.
5) P(X) denotes the probability of X.
6) P(X|E) denotes the conditional probability of X given E; this is the joint probability of X and E divided by the probability of E.
P(X|E) = P(X^E) / P(E)
Assumption (1): - If an event like X were to really have happened, then it very likely left some evidence of itself. In other words, the probability of E, given X, is greater than the probability of NOT E, given X.
P(E|X) > P(¬E|X)
1 - P(¬E|X) > P(¬E|X)
P(¬E|X) < 1/2
This isn't an unfair assumption, as most things of significance leave some sort of evidence.
Now we invoke Bayes' Theorem: P(¬E|X) = P(X|¬E)P(¬E) / P(X).
-> 1/2 > P(X|¬E)P(¬E) / P(X)
P(X|¬E) < (1/2) P(X)/P(¬E)
Thinking about P(X) in the equation immediately prior, is X a likely or unlikely event?
Assumption 2: - The event X is extraordinary. P(X) << 1. The probability of event X is very small.
Let X be an intersection of two statistically independent events, A and B. X = A^B. (I was born in Germany, and I love shitting on my neighbour's lawn.) However, the joint probability of A and B is always equal to or less than the probability of A or B. P(AB) = P(A)P(B). The more events which define X, the lower the probability.
Returning to the emboldened equation, consider the term P(¬E). What can we say about the likelihood of evidence for X?
Assumption 3: - We have searched for evidence of X, but failed to find any. P(¬E) [approx.]= 1. The probability of no actual evidence for X is very high, and the more we search for E but fail, the closer this value approaches 1.
Bringing forward the emboldened equation again:
P(X|¬E) < (1/2) P(X)/P(¬E)
The more specific and extraordinary X, the closer P(X) is to 0. And the more we search for evidence, but fail, the closer ¬E is to 1. The ratio here [P(X)/P(¬E)] then, must be very small. As long as this ratio is less than one, the entire right-hand side of the inequality is less than one-half.
P(X|¬E) < 1/2. This inequality must hold. This implies: P(¬X|¬E) > 1/2.
We finally arrive at:
P(¬X|¬E) > P(X|¬E). In other words, given an absence of any evidence for X, the more likely event is that X did not, in fact, occur.
This is a demonstration of the epistemic principle known as the inference to the best explanation. Many things cannot be known with absolute certainty, but we can show which explanations are most preferable.
Recap: 1) An event like X should leave evidence. 2) All things being equal, X is unlikely. 3) We have searched for evidence of X, but failed.
From these premises, it mathematically follows that ¬X is a more likely event than X.
Let X be the following claim:
The Virgin Mary, upon being impregnated by Yahweh, gave birth to a half-blooded demigod named Jesus of Nazareth. During his life, Jesus performed many miracles that included healing the sick, raising the dead and turning water into wine. Jesus also took the aggregate sins of humanity upon himself, and gave his own life for us. Upon his execution by Roman authorities, Jesus rose from the dead and ascended to Heaven. All of these events were compiled into the record, with inerrancy, known as the New Testament.
And anybody who fails to believe this will spend an eternity in endless suffering.
If any of this is to be the case, we should find evidence beyond mere say-so.
P(E|X) > P(¬E|X).
X is a huge intersection of independent events, all competing with the various denominations and interpretations of Christian doctrine which is, in turn, competing with those belonging to other religions. Significant positive evidence for Christianity is yet to have been found, also.
P(X) [appox.]= 0.
P(¬E) [approx.]= 1.
P(¬X|¬E) [approx.]= 1. Quad erat demonstrandum.
Oh.

Contest time?
I still have a collection of the banners from the last contest, but none of them really fit. Maybe we should run another contest, yeah; I'd be okay with changing things up.

Cheat, when are you gonna drop the Halo decor from here?
What do you mean? The ranks?
No, I mean the Halo banners and shiz.
The #gaming banner? IDK, as soon as there's a better alternative.

Pretty soon they're gonna make it so accounts that have only played Destiny can only post on Bnet
It's already like that on several "boards" so I actually wouldn't be surprised if that eventually happens as the years go on.

Why?
...because that's when Bluehost makes the daily backup.

And the people told me I sent the wrong item which I obviously didn't. I asked them for evidence, they refused, contacted amazon and now they get to keep my vita and I lose $100.
What the fuck is this shit.
Same thing happened to me on eBay with an iPhone. What you have to do is tell him to mail it back to you so you can refund the money. IDK how Amazon does things, but Paypal/eBay will give you a prepaid postage for you to print out that is tracked, so they know when the item gets back. But really, the only way to protect yourself is to make a video of you demonstrating the device's functionality while referencing the buyer's username, so it's clear the video is recent. People have tried to scam me several times when I was selling iPhones and yeah, it really does suck that most large marketplaces cater exclusively to the buyer. Sorry, mang.
edit: additionally, you might consider moving funds out of the account that you receive payment to from Amazon and Paypal as soon as you are paid. It's frequent that scammers will pay and then claim "Item Not As Described" and the system will automatically hold your money.

Best logo from the best Bnet group.
The Justice League?
I think the same thing each time I see that logo/icon thing.
So it's not the Justice League, then?
It's Sapphire.

Serious post though: I always liked the Bungie logo, but maybe it's partly because of the rush of nostalgia I get whenever I see it. I can't help but imagine that animation thing that plays at the beginning of a Halo game before you even get to the menu.
I actually really dig their newer logo. The trail of the ball overlapping with the text was never very pleasing to the eye IMO.

yeah i actually love that one
your design right?
Yep.
you should honestly overhaul this site with that flat minimalistic design you use on all your other websites.
I'll be doing the new mobile site when I get around to it, so that will probably be more of my style. Here's the site I'm building for that Burn Blue company by the way (it's a fake company that's just for lols): http://burn.blue/alpha
